Chapter 742: A world into a lucky chance
Chapter 742: A world into a lucky chance
Apex frowned as he saw how things progressed, and he was not alone. The Archangel and powerhouses could understand the anger of the Eternal Death and Destruction Supernova Eye and the Infinity Space-Time Supernova Eye. Unfortunately, their timing was awful since they were about to march into war.
And even if that was not the case, the one they were targeting was Venganza. While there was no question that summoning the Incarnation of Death and Destruction came at a high price, that monster would only need a few seconds to destroy Solaris and kill them all.
As for trying to cage Venganza here and keep him away from the Neo-Demon Realm, Apex knew that was virtually impossible. Since the Depravita could make his way into Solaris, ignoring all of Ziru’s seals in space-time, it was logical that he could leave whenever he wanted.
“I need to know how it happened? Did you set an ambush or some trap? How many were by your side during that battle?” Koren spoke with a deadly cold tone.
“What difference does it make?” Venganza could feel the burning rage in the duo’s hearts but was not worried. It would be easier if they decided to help him during this mission, but they were not essential.
“Of course it makes a difference! We are talking about the honor of our race, and there is no enemy powerful enough to make us forget it!” Koren roared as his aura grew stronger.
“Our honor pushed us forward, even when our enemy was one of the mightiest races of the Prima Universe. For our race, honor means everything!” Ziru joined his brother as he also made his aura explode.
Venganza’s eyes narrowed as he heard Ziru and Koren’s words and remembered what Eon Six said all those years ago.
“I fought against him alone. Our cultivation was roughly at the same level. As for traps and the likes, he came out of nowhere, so I did not have the chance to rely on them and entered a direct battle from the beginning.”
The moment they heard those words, Ziru and Koren’s wrath immediately grew several times weaker, becoming a mere ember of its previous burning might.
“Did your desire for revenge vanish just like that?” Venganza was not mocking or attempting to anger the duo. He was sincerely interested in their reaction as it was something that involved his Concept of Revenge.
Koren and Ziru saw the genuine curiosity in the Depravita’s eyes and chose to answer it.
“When the Heavenly Race attacked Solaris and forced the exodus of our race, we could have chosen to fall into despair and victimhood, but we are the Supernova Race. How could we choose such a pathetic path?” Ziru spoke with great pride those words.
“We accepted the rule that the strongest prey on the weak, so we chose to become more powerful! If the enemy uses traps, ambushes, or numbers, our kind is in its right to ask for retribution. However, if you lose a direct one-on-one battle, then you only have yourself to blame for your foolishness and weakness. It would shame our race if we tried to avenge someone like that.” Koren mentioned the core ideology that reigned in the Supernova Race’s society.
Venganza nodded to the duo as he understood how the desire for revenge molded them, yet they remained on a virtuous path, faithful to a code.
The Depravita did not dawdle on those thoughts for long as there were many things to do. He glanced at Bahamut and Noir.
“You must go to Salomon and Issac. I need a blockade formed around the Leviathan World and the Mind Ruler World. No one can leave, and no one can enter. I doubt Jormungandr and Eligos would dare to fight in their conditions, but things could go out of hand if they get a hint of what is happening inside the Heavenly Creator World.”
Bahamut and Noir had lived for millions of years, and their wisdom was not mediocre. They could see part of Venganza’s strategy.
By sealing the way out of the Leviathan World and Mind Ruler World, Veganza stopped any form of reinforcement to the Heavenly World. And by preventing anyone from entering those worlds, he severed any escape path for Lilet and the other high-ranking Archangels.
Clearly, Venganza wanted to end all inside the Heavenly Creator World and did not want the war to spread across the Prima Universe.
The Dragon Primarch and Spirit Primarch departed from Solaris alongside Kato. However, Ivar remained behind.
Venganza stared at the Magus and saw the fighting intent in his eyes. It was clear that Ivar was unwilling to stay on guard outside the Leviathan World or Mind Ruler World.
“Fine, do as you wish.”
The Depravita turned toward Ziru and Apex. “You two will come with me. You will be of assistance to bring the Fallen out of the Heavenly Creator World. If they remain inside when I finish, it is unlike for any of them to survive.”
All sorts of questions appeared in the duo, but Venganza did not seem inclined to answer them.
Venganza then turned to the many powerhouses that had gathered here in the hopes of marching toward the Heavenly Creator World and obtaining their revenge.
“I can see the burning desire inside your hearts. You can travel to the Heavenly Creator World, but whether or not you will obtain your revenge will depend on the might of your willpowers and destiny.”
Confusion appeared in the powerhouse, but the pressure that Venganza projected made it hard for them to ask questions. Luckily, the Depravita was not over.
“You need to stop thinking about this as a simple war. If I wanted, the Heavenly Creator World would cease to exist this day, but I have bigger plans. The entire world will become a massive lucky chance, and only the best will have access to it. The next time you hear of me will be through the Virtual Dream Universe.”
Venganza then looked at Ziru, Apex, and Ivar. “Let’s go.”
