"M... my liege!"

Olivia stammered the moment she saw Vaelor before her, her cheeks immediately turning red from sheer embarrassment.

"Ooh, hello miss... how are things going with you all right now!"

Vaelor scratched the back of his head as he looked at Olivia, speaking somewhat awkwardly because he couldn’t remember her name.

"Olivia, my liege... my name is Olivia, General Ayat’s assistant" Olivia nodded, embarrassed, and made way for Vaelor.

"Your Majesty, have you finally emerged from your seclusion!"

Ayat stepped forward quickly from behind, happiness clearly visible on her face at seeing Vaelor’s appearance.

"Alright, let’s talk inside" Vaelor waved his hand, smiling at them, and entered the office, and Olivia closed the door behind him.

"Did you just hear something?"

Outside, one of the two guards looked at the other, asking in confusion.

"No... did you hear something?" the other guard shook his head and asked.

"No" the first guard shook his head and continued "never mind"

...

Inside the office.

"Seems like a lot of things have changed since my last appearance" Vaelor murmured as he looked around curiously.

For a month ago, the construction of the High Administrative Council hadn’t even finished yet. Not to mention all this bustling activity the City of Light had been experiencing lately.

"Certainly, my liege, for with every passing day the elves’ capabilities in construction and manufacturing develop further, and all of that is thanks to the guidance and educational materials Your Majesty has bestowed upon us"

Beside Vaelor, an elf spoke, who appeared to be around forty years old, with short purple hair and a strong, muscular build.

"Oooh, Sir Toni, seems like you all accomplished a great deal in my absence!" Vaelor turned and saw a face he recognized, smiling at him at once.

Sir Toni had been one of the officials of the previous royal office before the Giant war, and he was the only one still alive among them, aside from Yasmin, who was currently between life and death.

Sir Toni was the true official in charge of the administrative office, and the teacher of Ayat and the new generation of administrators as well.

"Yes, my liege, there are many things that have changed, and this is a list of everything that happened over the course of the month you were in seclusion"

Sir Toni extended his hand and handed Vaelor a thin metal tablet bearing numerous rows of strange symbols.

Vaelor took hold of the metal tablet and ran his spiritual sense over it, transferring to his mind all the information recorded on the tablet, and after a few moments Vaelor finished reviewing the tablet and its information and returned it to Sir Toni once more.

"In my opinion, my liege, the two most important things that happened during this month are the completion of the academy’s construction and the completion of the banks’ construction" Sir Toni tapped on the metal tablet, and soon the symbols on it lit up, and holographic projections of the shape of the bank and the academy appeared on it...

"The academy has already begun operating two weeks ago, and the first batch is currently being taught and prepared to fill positions within the kingdom. As for the bank, its construction and full facility preparations were completed a few days ago, and we can begin operating it at any moment, we’re just awaiting Your Majesty’s signal to begin announcing its opening!"

Sir Toni presented the two most important things that had happened so far, and awaited Vaelor’s response.

Vaelor held his chin, thinking to himself for a while...

As for the academy, its importance was undoubtedly clear, for it would be the foundation upon which everything else would be built later.

From it would graduate everyone who wanted to work in the high councils, the banks, and the rest of the kingdom’s positions.

Because of it, the shortage in senior personnel that the kingdom lacked would be filled.

And thanks to it, the wheel of the kingdom’s development would begin accelerating further, and at a stronger rate.

There was no doubt that its importance was clear to everyone.

And the other important matter was the bank.

If the academy would strengthen the kingdom’s foundations, then the bank was what would expand the kingdom’s influence in the outer world.

It would be the kingdom’s greatest economic pillar and its strongest political card, and it would allow Vaelor’s kingdom to extend political influence that the kingdom couldn’t extend through ordinary military means... and on top of this, it would be the face of the kingdom’s political and economic relations.

"Well done in starting the academy’s operation" Vaelor nodded at them, praising them "as for the bank, announce the opening date today, and the opening will take place tomorrow, and I will personally preside over this opening!"

Vaelor gave them his instructions and wouldn’t allow anyone else to preside over the opening... the importance of the bank’s opening, to Vaelor, was exactly as significant as his own coronation.

For if the kingdom displayed the extent of his strength and authority, then the bank would display the extent of his influence and impact.

"As Your Majesty commands, the bank officials will be informed immediately to take the necessary measures"

"Good" Vaelor nodded in agreement, then looked at Ayat "how are things going now with the Industrial Council"

"The High Industrial Council is proceeding at a good, steady pace so far, my liege, but according to our estimates and calculations, the current production won’t be enough once the banks are opened, and we won’t be able to expand... our current production barely covers the six kingdoms, and the armies of the other five kingdoms haven’t been fully equipped yet, they still rely on Third Tier gear as their primary equipment, and Fourth Tier gear isn’t enough for everyone, not to mention the manufacturing of catalysts specific to the other races and laws, and the other production lines"

Ayat listed the problems they were facing, and after listening to her for a while, Vaelor nodded at her, then turned to Sir Toni "you handle the rest of the matters from now on, and prepare tomorrow’s opening in a manner befitting us"

Then he turned again and gestured to Ayat and Olivia "as for you two, follow me"

"As you command, my liege" Sir Toni bowed to Vaelor, responding to his orders, and Ayat and Olivia quickly followed him toward the High Industrial Council.

After a few minutes of riding the winds, the three arrived before the High Industrial and Production Council.

Vaelor landed on the ground and stood before the massive fortress, furrowing his brows slightly as he looked at the towering structure before him...

"Seems like this place has become even more massive than last time, the last time I came here it was roughly half this size"
