"A guardian from among your own race will be appointed over the Silent Kingdom for the time being, while you shall reside here in the City of Light with Ayat and learn from her how to manage affairs!" Vaelor spoke in a dignified tone, gesturing toward Ayat beside him, who also smiled at Olivia in turn.

He knew Olivia’s history well after Zaylon had submitted his reports, and part of that report had included Olivia.

He knew she hadn’t mastered any law yet, nor had she ever learned anything about governance before, nor did she master any martial arts... she was practically useless, and it would be unjust to place her in an important position like guardian over a kingdom, which requires the strength and wisdom of a ruler.

But on the other hand, she had two clear qualities...

The first was that she was extremely beautiful, beyond description, and this was starkly evident.

The second was that she was extremely intelligent, but unfortunately no one had made use of this yet, and Vaelor had noticed this and wanted to make use of it in the proper way.

"At your command, my liege!" Olivia bowed immediately, at the peak of happiness because she would be kept away from the positions of rule and their complications, and at the same time she was also happy that she would be living in this dazzling city, full of life everywhere, unlike the gloomy, silent forest!

"Your Majesty King Vaelor, if you’ll permit me to speak, I have important news I’d like to tell you!" upon seeing Vaelor finish his conversation with Olivia, the Dragon race’s representative immediately seized the opportunity and knelt toward Vaelor.

"If you don’t have something as important as the ancestor egg the Silent Raven race gave me, don’t expect any pardon or mercy from me!" Vaelor looked at that Dragon race representative with amusement, knowing exactly what he wanted by seizing this opportunity.

"Your Majesty, the Dragon race doesn’t possess anything as rare as an ancestor egg, for the ancestors of the Dragon race left this continent since the ancient era, as Your Majesty knows, but I know of someone who possesses something similar to this!" the Dragon race representative bowed his head further, speaking in submission.

"Speak!" Vaelor narrowed his brows, feeling as though he’d used up several years’ worth of luck all at once.

He had never expected to find another rare and precious thing like the egg of a beast with a mutated Heaven-tier lineage.

To understand just how important and valuable such things were, according to Vaelor’s knowledge from the Eternal Night Heaven, the last time an egg of a beast with a mutated Heaven-tier lineage had been sold at auction, the final figure had reached eleven digits — meaning that number had reached tens of billions of Primes!

A figure that even entire Heaven-tier empires couldn’t afford... and that egg had been sold back then at the last Immortal auction, and the one who bought it was an Immortal Empire!

"Your Majesty, the Phoenix race also keeps an egg, but it’s not the egg of a descendant — it’s the egg of the ancestor itself!" the Dragon man bowed and revealed the most dangerous secret the Dragon race held against the Phoenix race.

"The Phoenix ancestor’s egg?" Vaelor raised his eyebrow and looked at that Dragon man with suspicion, but he found no trace of him lying in any way. "How? Give me the details"

"As Your Majesty commands" the Dragon man nodded his head hastily and quickly spoke "my liege, the ancestor beast of the Phoenix race was highly ambitious and tried to forcibly reach the Fourth Level, but the tribulation it faced and the world’s opposition at the time prevented it, and it suffered grave injuries that would have led to its death, but it used one of its lineage’s abilities and burned itself, transforming back into an egg, and the legends of the Phoenix race say, my liege, that when the great era arrives and the world rains fire, the Phoenix will then return to rule the sky!"

Upon hearing this, Vaelor held his chin for a while, thinking to himself, and after a few minutes of thought, Vaelor turned his gaze back to that Dragon man "if what you say is true, I’ll give the Dragon race half of what I gave the Silent Raven race, because you didn’t bring me the thing itself, only information. Until then, the Dragon race’s situation will remain as it is"

"Thank you for your generosity and mercy, Your Majesty, I couldn’t ask for anything more than this!" the Dragon race representative quickly knelt and thanked him sincerely.

He wasn’t foolish enough to ask for full mercy from Vaelor merely for giving him a bit of information that Vaelor would have discovered sooner or later anyway, but receiving half mercy was also something wonderful, exceeding his expectations!

"And you two, don’t you have anything to offer as well?" having finished with the Silent Raven race and the Dragon race, and setting aside the Falcon race whose matter had already been settled, only the Centaur race and the Golden Lion race remained. And Vaelor was now looking at the representatives of these two races!

"Heh, Your Majesty, you know we’re the last race to have appeared on this continent, and we’ve been persecuted by the other races since the day we appeared, and the number of kingdoms of our race can be counted on one hand, so how could we possibly possess anything of value!" the Centaur race representative spoke with embarrassment, lowering his head slightly, but aside from that embarrassment and sorrow, he was also somewhat happy!

Not because of his submission to Vaelor and the Kingdom of Light, but specifically because of the fall of the Storm Kingdom.

That kingdom which had terrorized them, oppressed them, and interfered in their affairs for thousands of years, and had crossed the line with them countless times, had finally fallen... the Centaur race’s shame had finally fallen at last!

"Your Majesty, my apologies, but even if the Golden Lion race had anything, a humble person like myself wouldn’t know anything so important!" the Golden Lion race’s representative scratched his head in great embarrassment, even more than the Centaur representative. For among everyone present in this garden right now, he was the weakest among them, only Second Level!

"Your Majesty’s general’s hand was somewhat harsh on us, as not a single Third Level person remains in our kingdom, and the secrets of our race died along with them!"
