Manager Lance ran at full speed through the corridors of one of the palaces, to the point that anyone who encountered him could only see him as a flash that disappeared in an instant!

Manager Lance finally stopped in front of the gate of a giant palace, above which was written — Imperial Treasury. After taking a deep breath, he pushed the door open and entered.

"Oh! Young Heir, what brought you here!"

A man who appeared to be in his thirties, with a square face and long white hair, sat on one of the seats with one leg crossed over another on a second seat. When he saw Manager Lance enter, he did not even bother to straighten his posture and simply greeted him!

"Uncle Zhaidi, what is the maximum support I can withdraw!" Lance quickly approached and stood in front of the man in his thirties with a fake smile on his face!

"Why? Is there something important or what?" Zhaidi finally straightened his posture and looked at Lance seriously!

"Zhaidi, give him everything you are allowed to take out!" Old Anz came hurrying from outside and quickly stood beside Lance.

"What the hell is going on?!" Zhaidi raised an eyebrow and looked at the two of them suspiciously.

Zhaidi was from the same generation as Old Anz, and they were old friends. But unlike Anz, who had suffered a serious injury that stopped him from cultivating after he had been on the verge of reaching the Immortal Realm — Level Nine, Zhaidi had already reached Level Nine and was now at the beginning of the Immortal Realm. He had been assigned to oversee the Imperial Treasury, one of the most important places in the Empire!

Lance and Old Anz quickly explained the situation to him in detail, and Zhaidi’s eyes widened with every new word he heard before he quickly furrowed his brows!

"The Immortal Dream Dragon is acting as a Dream Assistant! One thousand bottles of Legendary-quality Life Essence and one hundred thousand of Basic quality! Payment in advance!" Zhaidi muttered in astonishment for a while, then looked at the two suspiciously. "What if he breaks the contract and fails to deliver the required quantity!"

"So what if he breaks the contract! I’m telling you, the Immortal Dream Dragon will be a party to the agreement. Even if that person breaks the contract, we can demand compensation from the Eternal Night Heaven, and we will then receive at least ten times what we are owed," Anz said irritably. He did not like his old friend’s concerns, but he understood him. After all, Zhaidi was a newcomer to the Immortal Realm and did not want to end up being judged before the Ancestors because of one mistake.

Zhaidi narrowed his eyes and looked at the two of them, saying reproachfully and angrily, "You’re saying that you want eleven million Prime per year, or one billion and one hundred million Prime per century, which represents approximately ten percent of the Empire’s reserves, not to mention eleven billion Prime per millennium, which exceeds the Empire’s reserves by a full one billion Prime!"

Zhaidi’s shout echoed in the ears of both Lance and Old Anz, then he looked toward Lance. "No, I will not allow this! All I can give you is only eleven million Prime, meaning one year’s payment. By then, the Ancestors will have awakened, and you can raise this matter directly with your father and let him decide how things should proceed!"

The Eternal Night Heaven — Red Lotus Palace

"We apologize for the delay, Lord Broke and Your Majesty, the Immortal Dream Dragon!" Old Anz and Manager Lance soon appeared in the office before Vaelor and Dalia once again.

"Welcome back, Manager Lance and Supervisor Anz," Vaelor greeted them and looked toward Manager Lance. "So, what do you say, Lord Lance? Shall we make the deal, or shall we settle for the honor of getting acquainted!"

"Hahaha, Lord Broke, you must be joking. Is there any sane person who would refuse an offer like yours!" Manager Lance smiled amicably and waved his hand, causing three screens to appear before him.

He was right, Vaelor’s offer was impossible to refuse!

Not to mention the large quantity, not to mention the permanent supply, not to mention the cheap prices, not to mention the great benefits resulting from using Life Essence, and not to mention that it was a highly demanded product that could barely be found on the market. It was enough that the returns they would get from reselling the same quantity they bought from Vaelor would give them at least a fifty percent profit, and it would be sold immediately!

Manager Lance extended his hand and placed it on each screen once, then passed them to Old Anz, who did the same before passing them to Vaelor.

"These are the necessary contracts, Lord Broke. If there is anything that needs to be modified, please let me know before you sign them using your spiritual imprint!"

Vaelor listened to Manager Lance while looking at the three copies of the contracts before him, then looked toward Dalia.

"Don’t worry, they are completely sound!" Dalia reassured him.

Vaelor nodded, as he had not found anything wrong with the contracts either. They were merely simple contracts that stated the specified quantity, the price, and the delivery date, which would be no later than one year from now. The two contracting parties were Vaelor and the Red Lotus Palace, while Old Anz and Dalia were witnesses to the contract!

Vaelor left his spiritual imprint on the three contracts, then passed them to Dalia, who did the same.

As soon as the signing was completed, the three contracts immediately split into four copies and disappeared, then appeared in the accounts of the four parties who had signed the contract.

"This is good, and now that we have finished our first deal, Lord Broke, do you have any other wonderful things you want to sell us!" Manager Lance smiled happily. He knew that these dreams of his were difficult to achieve, but he asked anyway just to test the situation.

"Of course, Lord Lance. There are many things better than Life Essence that I am willing to sell!" Vaelor smiled, leaned back, and answered contrary to expectations, causing Manager Lance’s smile to freeze on his face as he looked toward Vaelor in astonishment. But his astonishment did not last long, because Vaelor soon disappointed him...

"Of course, that depends on our future dealings and the sincerity of our cooperation!"
