Chapter 2174 -1: Pregnancy 2

Zhuang Xiyue is not someone who can be casually brushed off. Holding Yun Ya’s hand, she said worriedly, “I’ll make an appointment with another doctor to get you checked thoroughly. Health is a serious matter and can’t be taken lightly.” With that, she pulled out her phone from her bag to make a call.

With her status, booking a famous doctor is merely a matter of saying the word.

“Aunt Zhuang, I’m really okay.” Yun Ya’s justification seemed so weak in the face of Zhuang Xiyue’s intense concern.

Yun Ya glanced at Yan Song, who furrowed his thick brows slightly and raised a hand to comfortingly pat Yun Ya’s shoulder.

“Mom, don’t worry, Yun Ya is not in serious trouble.” Glancing at the time, “The guests are still waiting for you to attend to them.”

This was an implicit invitation to leave.

Zhuang Xiyue wasn’t exactly afraid of her son, but when faced with his cold demeanor, she instinctively hesitated. Just as she was about to retort, Yan Ke stood up and said with a chuckle, “Mom, can’t you see? They’re annoyed by our presence. Let’s go, let’s not play third wheel here, disrupting their loving time. Do you want to hold a grandson or not?” He finished with a meaningful glance at Yun Ya’s belly.

Raising an eyebrow, he looked at Yan Song, his gaze seemingly understanding everything and quite infuriating.

Yan Song squinted slightly, and Yan Ke instantly felt the temperature around him drop, so he quickly fled like a gust of wind.

Before leaving, he didn’t forget to pull away Zhuang Xiyue.

As the two left, the living room instantly fell into silence. In this suffocating quiet, Yun Ya abruptly shook off Yan Song’s hand and stared coldly at him.

She loved him, willing to give everything for him, but she wouldn’t yield an inch on certain issues.

At this moment, Yan Song seemed to see the Yun Ya he had first met—cold, guarded, cautious.

Her eyes held not a trace of sentiment, only a chill that had penetrated to the bone.

This realization frightened him, and he instinctively reached out to grab her hand. Yun Ya took a step back and suddenly screamed, “Don’t touch me.”

Yan Song furrowed his brow tightly and said gently, “Yun Ya, do you trust me?”

Yun Ya wouldn’t be deceived by him again. She gritted her teeth and said, “I trust in your love for me, but I can’t trust your love for this child. Why are you hiding it? Is it true that you actually resist this child in your heart? Do you feel he might take away my love for you… or even that this child might threaten my life?”

This blunt truth suddenly made Yan Song’s complexion go pale, his fists tightly clenched. With cold eyes narrowed, he still used the most gentle tone to coax her, “Yun Ya, things aren’t as you think….”

Yet Yun Ya wouldn’t listen to his explanation at all. “Even now you’re lying to me. For this child, I’ve given so much. I thought you, like me, were looking forward to this child’s arrival, but Yan Song, you’ve let me down so much.”

Yun Ya’s utterly cold gaze and that decisive final sentence completely disrupted Yan Song’s plans. He finally panicked, and as Yun Ya turned to leave, he dashed forward and hugged her tightly from behind. Yun Ya struggled, shouting, but could only be tightly locked in his embrace, a suffocating hug. Yun Ya struggled, tears streaming down her face.

“Yan Song, if you can’t accept this child, then we should part ways amicably, not hindering each other. I will raise this child alone….”

How could she speak such harsh and decisive words? How?

Yan Song’s eyes reddened, like a beast on the verge of madness. He gripped Yun Ya’s shoulders to make her face him, then fiercely captured her lips, aggressive and domineering, leaving Yun Ya no room to retreat. In front of his towering figure, she was as weak as a lamb, helplessly and passively enduring, tears like strings of beads rolling down, the burning tears searing Yan Song’s skin and scarring his heart.

He held her tightly, hoarsely roaring softly in her ear, “How can you be so ruthless?”

“And what about you? That is your child; why do you cruelly erase his existence?”

Yan Song closed his eyes tightly, holding her so close that Yun Ya could barely breathe.

“In this life, you shall never leave my side.” A glint of crimson flashed in his eyes, sinister and oppressive.

Yun Ya sneered coldly, “Then you can try.”

This was a provocation.

Yan Song gritted his teeth, vengefully biting harshly on her white and tender neck.

Tears rolled down Yun Ya’s cheeks—being loved by such a man, was it fortunate, or unfortunate?

For the first time, Yun Ya began to doubt her choice. After persevering on this path for so long, she was about to reach the end of happiness, yet here, heaven played such a huge joke on her.
