Chapter 730: Chapter 727: Your Shamelessness Is So Refreshingly Unconventional

Autumn Shelby’s gaze was fixed on Sierra Sutton, who lay in a pool of blood. Her own body was trembling uncontrollably, like a leaf in the autumn wind.

’She just couldn’t stand seeing Clara Grant being so close with Sierra Sutton and the baby. She felt that after flaunting her relationship with Seth Quinn, Clara had come to mess with Sierra Sutton and even win over her own baby—it was all deliberate.’

’Clara Grant... she just wanted to stand before me, triumphant. She wanted to provoke me, humiliate me, make me suffer!’

That was why, just a moment ago, in a fit of rage, she had slammed into them without a second thought.

Then, looking at Sierra Sutton lying there, motionless and perhaps dead, Autumn Shelby was suddenly gripped by fear.

’I was the one who hit her. So many people saw it. I can’t get away. If Sierra Sutton is dead... No, even if she isn’t, as long as Seth Quinn wants me dead, I’m finished!’

Autumn Shelby couldn’t help but look up at him, stammering, "S-Seth... I’m begging you, I’m begging you. I didn’t mean to, I didn’t mean to, I really didn’t mean to!"

She sobbed quietly as she spoke, reaching out to clutch Seth Quinn’s leg. "Just now, I... I don’t know what came over me. I saw my own son being so affectionate with Clara Grant, but he wouldn’t acknowledge me, his own mother, so I... I just crashed into them.

I didn’t mean to, I really didn’t. Seth, y-you, just forgive me this once. I’m begging you, I’m begging you..."

But Seth Quinn shoved her away and abruptly stood up. His gaze was menacing, his voice ice-cold. "Autumn Shelby, you’ve really taken shamelessness to a whole new level.

"The way you see it, nothing you do is ever on purpose. Being with Sierra Sutton back then wasn’t on purpose, and now, crashing your car into someone isn’t on purpose either!

"You always find a way to excuse yourself. But you can save those excuses for the police. I, however, can guarantee that for the rest of your life, you will never get another chance to do anything ’unintentionally’ again!"

Just as Seth Quinn finished speaking, Evan Shelby and Yvette Zimmerman, finally snapping out of their shock, rushed over.

Yvette Zimmerman took one look at Sierra Sutton in the pool of blood, and her legs gave out as she collapsed to the ground. Tears immediately began to fall. She lunged at Autumn Shelby, gripping her arms tightly, overcome with shock and sorrow.

"Autumn, have you gone mad! You may hate Clara Grant, but she was holding the baby! That’s your own son! How could you be so heartless as to slam into them like that!

If Sierra hadn’t rushed forward, the baby would be dead now! No matter how much you dislike Sierra, no matter how much you refuse to accept the baby,

he is your own son, and he might be the only child you’ll ever have! How could you, how could you be so heartless..."

As Yvette Zimmerman wailed in grief, Evan Shelby’s heart sank. ’It’s over!’ he thought.

’Even though Sierra Sutton was the one who got hit, it was obvious Autumn meant to hit Clara Grant. There’s no way Seth Quinn will let the Shelby Family off the hook now, right?’

He gritted his teeth in frustration. ’Autumn Shelby, oh, Autumn Shelby, you’ve dragged the entire Shelby Family down with you! How could you be so stupid? Even if you couldn’t stand the humiliation and wanted to harm Clara Grant, you shouldn’t have done it right at the gates of the Quinn estate, in front of all these people!’

Evan Shelby pointed a finger at Autumn Shelby. "Autumn Shelby, you... you are a bitter disappointment! No matter what, you cannot just try to kill someone! I... I am disowning you! From this day forward, you are no longer my daughter, and you are no longer a member of the Shelby Family!"
