Sienna Hale stared straight at Autumn Shelby and said through gritted teeth, "Autumn Shelby, you..."

"No, it’s not true! None of what he said is true!" Autumn Shelby cut her off frantically. "I was never with Sierra Sutton, and I’ve never had a child! Seth Quinn, why are you doing this? Why are you framing me?

Is it just because Clara Grant is the Quinn family’s daughter-in-law now? That if this got out, it would be a disgrace to the Quinn family, so to protect their reputation, you’re just going to pin it on me?

"Framing you? Heh. Autumn Shelby, are you questioning my intelligence or my ability? Do you really think I couldn’t find out something like this if I really wanted to investigate?"

As he spoke, Seth Quinn held up his phone, which had appeared in his hand at some point. "I have your address in the U.S.A. right here, as well as the complete records of your pregnancy, from start to finish, right up until you gave birth. If you’d like to see them, I don’t mind printing them out and giving everyone here a copy so they can all take a good, long look."

Autumn Shelby froze on the spot. Then, she let out a few hollow laughs. She tried to control her expression, but it only made her face look twisted and grim.

"Heh. Seth, you make it all sound so convincing. But I’ve never even been pregnant, so how could you possibly have records of my pregnancy and birth? And you still claim you’re not framing me?"

’She refused to believe it. She had ordered Sierra Sutton to destroy all of those records, and he had done it. How could Seth Quinn possibly have gotten his hands on them?’

’He had to be bluffing, trying to make her crack and confess everything herself.’

’She wasn’t going to fall for it!’

But Seth Quinn ignored her. He simply called over an attendant and held out his phone. "Go print this."

"Yes, sir," the attendant replied, reaching for the phone.

Autumn Shelby watched, wide-eyed, as the attendant’s hand moved closer and closer to the phone. Suddenly, she shrieked, "No! Don’t you dare print it!"

At the same time, she rushed forward, shoved the attendant aside, and lunged for the phone in Seth Quinn’s hand.

But Seth Quinn simply raised his hand, easily evading her grasp.

"What’s the matter? Scared? Finally admitting that everything I said is true?"

Autumn Shelby didn’t answer. Instead, she tilted her head back, raised an eyebrow at him, and began to laugh again. But this time, her smile and her laughter were filled with despair.

"Seth Quinn, when did you start investigating me? How did you find all this out?"

Seth Quinn didn’t try to hide it. "I started investigating the moment you came back to the country. It wasn’t impossible to find all this out; it just required some time and effort. I never wanted things to get to this point, but you brought this all upon yourself. You have no one to blame but yourself!"

SLAP!

The instant Seth Quinn finished speaking, a shockingly loud slap landed across Autumn Shelby’s left cheek.

All eyes snapped in that direction. The one who had dealt the blow was Sienna Hale, who at some point had moved to stand directly in front of Autumn Shelby.
