Their voices were low, and they were standing some distance away, so the others only knew they were talking but couldn’t hear what they were saying.

Sienna Hale was the first to lose her patience. She turned to Seth Quinn and asked, "Seth, what on earth are you all talking about? Why would that child call Clara ’Mom’? What is going on? So many people are watching. Don’t you think you need to explain?"

’Seriously, it’s just one thing after another.’

In fact, after everything that had just happened, Sienna Hale was willing to believe Clara Grant. The photos on the screen didn’t necessarily prove anything. Since Chloe Grant and Jean Jarvis could stir up trouble about Clara’s family background, they could certainly frame her with something like this too.

But a child wouldn’t lie. The fact that this kid called Clara Grant "Mom" the moment he appeared couldn’t help but make her suspicious again.

Hearing Sienna Hale’s question, Seth Quinn, Clara Grant, and Sierra Sutton all turned to look at her in unison.

Sierra Sutton’s gaze, however, first met Autumn Shelby’s, who was standing beside Sienna Hale. Autumn looked at him with an expression that seemed calm, but he felt it held a hidden meaning.

Clara Grant looked at Sienna Hale and called out, "Mom." She wanted to explain, but before she could get the words out, an anxious yet faintly sarcastic voice cut in.

"What else could it be? My, when Chloe Grant showed those photos earlier, I didn’t believe it. I was sure she was framing Clara.

But a child won’t lie. If he calls a woman ’Mom,’ then that must mean she really is his mother."

Clara Grant whipped her head around, her gaze turning icy as she looked at the speaker, Yvette Zimmerman.

Yvette Zimmerman seemed to shrink back from her cold stare. She coughed awkwardly a couple of times and secretly glanced toward Autumn Shelby.

Autumn Shelby subtly gave her a look. Yvette Zimmerman immediately understood, turned her gaze back to Clara Grant, and met her stare without flinching. A sneer even appeared at the corner of her lips as she continued,

"It’s just that, Sienna, it’s truly shocking that your daughter-in-law already has a child this old. It seems her secret-keeping skills are quite impressive, aren’t they?"

Clara Grant just stared at her coldly, showing no intention of dignifying her with a response. Instead, she turned back to Sienna Hale and Theodore Quinn.

"Dad, Mom, it’s not like that. I..."

But she had only gotten a few words out before Yvette Zimmerman interrupted her again. "If it’s not like that, then what is it like? The child called you ’Mom.’ Can that be fake?

And Sierra, really... how could you hide such a huge thing from us elders? Now look at this mess. Is Clara Grant considered a daughter-in-law of your Quinn Family, or a daughter-in-law of our Shelby Family? She can’t possibly be a wife to two husbands, can she?"

Yvette Zimmerman’s words were so nasty that Sienna Hale clutched her chest in anger, and Theodore Quinn’s face turned cold and grim, clearly showing his displeasure.

Autumn Shelby, however, revealed a triumphant sneer. ’The nastier the words, the more the Quinn Family will lose face. Later, with Sierra Sutton’s testimony added to the mix, would they still show any kindness to Clara Grant—the culprit who made them lose all face?

Wouldn’t they just announce her divorce and kick her out of the Quinn family right then and there?!’

Sierra Sutton was also finding it hard to hold back. His brow furrowed deeply, and he subconsciously glanced at Autumn Shelby in the distance, his expression heavy and unreadable.
