A figure appeared before her right after.

Clara instinctively looked up. Standing before her was none other than Sarah Shelby.

Listening to the chatter, Ewan Stratton’s face turned livid. His hands, resting on the armrests of his wheelchair, clenched into fists. He glared at the fearless Sarah Shelby, practically grinding his teeth. He looked as if he wanted to eat her alive.

He never expected her to step forward so decisively and say something like that.

’So, the one who asked a man to a hotel to confess her feelings was *her*, Sarah Shelby, was it?’
