Chapter 1575 - 1575: I'll Destroy A Country This Time
Archer’s own body shuddered, pierced by a barrage of bullets that ripped through flesh and bone, yet he stood, his eyes blazing with a fury that transcended pain. Aeris, her face pale but fierce, lunged forward to act, but his low growl stopped her cold. ”No,” he snarled, his voice a dangerous rumble. ”I’ll slaughter these vermin myself, after I save them.”
Drawing a deep breath, he unleashed a roar that reverberated through the earth itself, a sound that cracked the very foundation of the cabin. A violet shield erupted around them, its energy deflecting the hail of bullets with a resounding hum. His mana surged outward, a flood of raw power that enveloped the six fallen women.
The glowing tendrils of magic wove into their broken bodies, knitting torn flesh and mending shattered bones. Their wounds began to close, but the pain lingered. Before anyone could speak, he vanished, leaving everyone shocked. Micha looked at Aeris and questioned in a weak voice. ”What’s he going to do?”
”Bring death to these foolish humans,” the Wraith answered, anger bubbling to the surface. ”They’ve hurt the one man they shouldn’t have, and Earth will burn.”
Archer appeared behind the first sniper, who didn’t know he was there. His boot slammed down on the man’s neck, and a snap rang out, causing the other agents to target him. But he was gone. He slaughtered every enemy in range of the cabin, his claws tore through their armor, and he cut their weapons in two.
By the time the massacre stopped, he’d killed over twenty government agents before vanishing. He visited New York and created a massive meteor that slammed through buildings, creating chaos as he unleashed everything he had to show the humans he wasn’t to be messed with.
Hours passed, and he finally finished attacking random cities across the country. He returned to the White House, where the other members of the government were waiting. When they saw him, their faces paled in fright. This amused him to no end, but when he saw an older woman staring at him, he started.
Archer used Mana Manipulation and dragged her toward him until she was in front of him as he spoke. ”You will announce to the world what has happened, and if they attack anyone I care about again, I’ll destroy a country this time.”
Moments later, he created a screen that showed a random city in Europe as a meteor slammed into it, causing widespread destruction and killing thousands within seconds. This forced the older woman to nod in agreement as he continued. ”And Elizabeth will become president until I say so, or you’ll know what will happen.”
Following that, Archer destroyed three more cities before the government surrendered to him. Once all that was out of the way, he summoned the brunette, who was shocked when he told her everything. Elizabeth shook her head and questioned. ”How many did you kill in this attack?”
”Million, I think?” he honestly answered. ”It doesn’t matter, humans breed like rabbits. Give it a few more years and the loss won’t be felt.”
When the older woman heard this, her green eyes widened in shock. She started trembling, making his heart hurt as he tried to reassure her. ”I had to do it so they wouldn’t attack us anymore. I’ll try not to kill again, but I can’t promise anything.”
Elizabeth’s expression softened as she replied. ”I understand, Arch. It’s just hard to accept since it’s never seen here on Earth.”
”Well, it’s normal in my world and you’ll be a part of that from now on,” he said, smiling at the older woman.
”I know, I’ve seen it, but don’t worry, I’ll get used to it, my love,” Elizabeth reassured him.
After their talk, a few people rushed over to her, avoiding him at all costs. They treated Archer like he was the devil, which he didn’t mind, as it would keep them in line. He found out that Elizabeth had to warn the world of attacking him; a handful of countries listened, and others sent spies.
The Mana Birds helped find these people, and he ended up kidnapping hundreds of people who sought to do him or his women harm, giving them over to the Necromancer sisters to be turned into weapons. As so many went missing, countries fell into line, but a few dug their heels in and declared they’d be the ones to kill him.
He found this amusing and appeared above the houses of their leaders, scaring them into compliance. There was one nation that failed to be reasonable, so he floated above their capital and hit it with thousands of small meteors. Killing so many people that the neighbours absorbed it.
Archer felt a surge of relief upon learning the truth, but his moment of peace was interrupted by a message from Maeve. She warned him of an impending Orc army assault on a section of the wall, intent on raiding its resources for the winter. Afterward, he glanced at Elizabeth, who was in her element, managing the flurry of White House staff around her.
With a thought, he teleported back to the cabin. Inside, the other women were resting, but Cece and Sasha sprang to their feet in unison, their voices overlapping. ”We’re coming with you! We want to see your world!”
”Alright, but I’m returning here for a holiday,” he revealed. ”The war and stress are getting annoying.”
”Will some of the other women come with you?” Sasha questioned, a spark of jealousy in her blue eyes.
He smiled at that but shrugged. ”I’m not sure, to be honest. Maybe, I won’t know until we get back to Thrylos.”
After that, Archer turned toward Micha, Isabella, and Ellie, who were resting on the nearby sofas, watching him with curious eyes. He approached the trio and kissed each one, making them smile as he spoke. ”I’ll be back shortly and will spend time with each of you until it’s time to come to my world.”
”That sounds good!” Ellie exclaimed, her brown eyes excitedly gleaming. ”I can’t wait to see your palace.”
Just then, he sensed someone sneaking outside, causing him to teleport out there only to see a young man creeping around. He grabbed the idiot as Ellie rushed out, an enraged expression on her face as she barked. ”Josh! I’ve already told you to leave me alone and that I have an extremely jealous boyfriend.”
”I don’t believe you, Ellie?!” the man named Josh responded, struggling against his grip.
The brunette shot him a look that screamed he was a fool, then strode toward Archer, kissing him boldly in front of the stranger, leaving them stunned. Moments later, Josh’s temper flared, but he was taken down, his face hitting the dirt as he growled. ”You dare court my woman, boy?”
Archer lifted him in the air and looked into his eyes before laughing, a sound that sent a chill down everyone’s spines as he continued. ”You made the worst possible enemy, human, but I’m kind, go before I kill you.”
Josh crashed down as three young women watched in awe when the stalker ran down the driveway, but he took a deep breath to calm down. Following that, he said goodbye to Micha, Isabella, and Ellie before teleporting back to Orienta alongside Sasha and Cece, who were amazed.
It was freezing, prompting Archer to wrap two thick cloaks around the twins, who smiled at him. Cece shivered, pushing herself against his warm body just as Drakeguards and Legionnaires appeared on the wall. Reinforcing the defences, but he waved them away, speaking to the commander. ”I’ll deal with the Orcs, go rest during the winter, it’s too cold to be standing here.”
Following that, he led the two curious women along the ramparts until they met Maeve halfway to the tower. The orange-haired beauty looked at the twins, then at him, expecting an answer. ”These are Cece and Sasha, you met them years ago when we went to Earth.”
Her grey eyes widened in shock before a friendly smile crossed her face as she greeted the duo. ”Sisters, sorry about that. I’ve been distracted by this ongoing war and constantly fighting raiders for weeks.”
”No worries Maeve,” Sasha replied, smiling. ”We know how different this world is compared to ours, so we don’t mind.”
Cece nodded along with her sister as Maeve’s smile grew wider. ”That’s good, now do you want a tour of the fortress while our husband goes to fight the Orcs?”
The twins eagerly agreed before turning to him. Archer laughed at their reactions and spoke. ”Bring them back to the tower, I’m going to spend a few days on Earth to get away from Thrylos.”
”That’s good, you need a break after everything,” Maeve beamed.
The three women turned and walked away, leaving him alone. Undeterred, Archer summoned dozens of Mana Birds, their shimmering forms swirling around him, and took flight toward the Orc army massing near the eastern wall.
