A Journey That Changed The World

Chapter 1574 - 1574: Earth Isn't Safe For You Anymore

Archer watched Alexa’s face fall, but soon she nodded. ”Do what you have to; they’ve been cruel to Micha and Lizzy.”

Fueled by rage, he vanished in a flicker of shadow, reappearing instantly in the president’s office. An older blonde woman sat at the desk, her sharp features and sly demeanor resembling a weasel scheming its next move. Oblivious to his presence, she pored over documents, plotting in silence.

Moments later, she leaned up and stretched, but he was there, grabbing the human woman by the neck. He lifted her into the air as she screamed, causing agents to rush into the room within seconds, only to stop short when seeing the president in his grasp, trying to free herself.

Archer grinned. ”One move and I’ll snap her neck. Now bring the other members of the government, or I’ll kill this worm.”

A young woman burst into the president’s office, her eyes widening at the sight of him. She squared her shoulders, attempting to do something, but with a dismissive wave of his hand, he unleashed a surge of power. She erupted into a bloodmist, splattering the room and coating the blonde president in crimson.

Following that, a piercing scream from the weasel woman shattered the silence as chaos erupted. Archer’s senses prickled; a threat loomed above. He strode outside, his gaze locking onto a sleek fighter jet slicing through the night sky, its targeting systems fixed on him, just waiting for the order to attack.

”You think your pathetic weapons can touch me?” he snarled, his voice thick with hatred for their audacity.

Raising a hand, Archer summoned a Mana Bird and sent it hurtling toward the jet. The impact was immediate, a deafening explosion illuminated the dark sky, debris raining down like fiery comets. Unrelenting, he summoned a flock of Birds, their glowing wings slicing through the air as they swarmed the city surrounding the White House.

The night erupted in a symphony of destruction as he looked at the president. ”I warn you humans, mess with my women and I’ll bring death to your world.”

Archer growled, a sound that scared everyone. ”Thanks for giving me the reason to attack Earth and make it mine.”

Without warning, he squeezed, and the woman’s head exploded, shocking the agents and staff who witnessed it. Just then, Aeris appeared alongside the Death Goddess he hadn’t seen in years. The two women killed every armed person as he turned to an innocent-looking woman.

”Get the news in here now!” he demanded. ”If they don’t appear here soon, you’re next to die just like your former president.”

With the city ablaze and sirens blaring in the wake of his destruction, Archer snapped his fingers, the air shimmering as he summoned Elizabeth Winters, the former president and a lover he hadn’t seen in some time. She materialized before him, her poised figure unchanged by time.

When her eyes met his, her face lit up with a brilliant smile. Without hesitation, the older woman rushed toward him, her arms wrapping tightly around his shoulders. Pulling him close, she pressed a passionate kiss to his lips, the warmth of their reunion cutting through the chaos around them.

”Oh god, I’ve missed you, Archer,” she whispered, nuzzling her head in the crook of his neck. ”Where have you been?”

”Sorry, the war and children kept me busy,” he replied, holding her tight. ”But you lot will be coming with me, Earth isn’t safe for you anymore.”

Following that, Elizabeth nodded before looking around. She paled when she saw the dead president and agents alongside the panicking White House staff. The older woman looked at him. ”What did you do?”

”Killed the bitch and her guards,” Archer answered like it was obvious. This text is hosted at novel[f]ire.net

She looked shocked, but he stopped her from answering. ”Don’t worry about it, where we’re going, no one will care about the death. It’s a natural part of life, even if it does come early for some weasels.”

The brunette stared at him, nodding, when a thunderous gunshot cracked through the office. The bullet grazed Archer’s head, whipping it to the side. The room froze in shock, but the pain and betrayal ignited a wildfire in him. His face twisted, eyes blazing with rage as he roared, voice raw and unhinged, “Why the hell didn’t they listen? Why? Who shoots me in the damn head and expects me to stay calm?”

”These humans are just like the Alliance,” he muttered as he looked at the agents pouring in and lost it.

Archer surged forward and cut them into pieces using his claws. People tried to flee, but a shield covered the White House, trapping everyone inside. Elizabeth’s green eyes widened in shock and horror, only for it to get worse as he killed staff and soldiers alike. Blood stained the White House’s walls.

Elizabeth glanced at the smiling young woman with short black hair and bright red eyes, causing her to ask. ”Why is he so angry?”

”He cares for his women, but what the humans did here was disgusting. Arch warned the world not to mess with him,” the woman answered. ”Did you know he burned an entire continent when they attacked one of us?”

She observed the newcomer studying Archer, whose gaze was hardening with resolve. ”Our husband is one of the strongest beings on Thrylos; his heart burns with fierce love and fiercer hatred. Relentless enemies seek his life, and even some allies wish him gone, but they’re powerless as his strength only grows.”

Elizabeth noticed her eyes glowed as she finally spoke. ”I was told by Nyx that he scares gods and goddesses. Is that true?”

”Yes. They fear him,” the young woman answered. ”They’ve started sending him visions of his death, but he doesn’t care and says it won’t come true.”

She froze, the sting of those words cutting deeper than she expected, a jolt that forced her to confront the truth she had long avoided. Her gaze shifted back to the man she loved, the one she had craved for through countless sleepless nights, only to find a stranger staring back, a monster who had always lurked beneath the surface, his darkness now in the open.

The warmth of his familiar presence was overshadowed by a chilling intensity in his eyes, a reminder of the chaos he carried within. Yet, despite the fear curling in her chest, she refused to turn away. Her heart, tethered to him by years of shared laughter and whispered promises, held firm.

She would not flee like Alexa did, not now. With a steadying breath, she chose to stand by his side, determined to face whatever shadows emerged, knowing that love demanded courage in the face of even the darkest truths.

Archer finished killing everyone in the White House and only stopped when he came face to face with Aeris, the Dark Wraith. A big smile appeared on her face as she cupped his cheeks and gave him a passionate kiss. This sent a shiver down his spine, only for him to reciprocate the gesture once he calmed down.

Soon after that, they broke apart, causing him to teleport them to Alexa, Micha, Isabella, Ellie, Sasha, and Cece, who were hiding in a cabin deep in a national park. When the five women spotted him, they stopped short. The twins’ blue eyes gleamed with happiness as they rushed in his direction.

The two women hugged him as Cece spoke first. ”Arch! It’s been ages since we’ve seen you.”

”We’ve missed you,” Sasha added.

Archer smiled at his before replying to the gorgeous twins. ”Sorry, I’ve been busy with my new empire, children, and the ongoing war.”

When the room heard this, it went dead quiet as Micha muttered. ”You’ve become a father?”

”Yes, to eleven children,” he answered. ”Looks like I beat you, Micha, and I still have more pregnant wives that are due.”

In that moment, the world shattered around Archer, the air ripped apart by a single sound, a bullet piercing the window with a crack that echoed like a thunderclap. His heart seized as his eyes locked onto the brown-haired woman, her body crumpling under the impact, a crimson stain blooming across her neck.

Time slowed, each second stretching into an eternity of dread as Micha and Isabella collapsed beside her, blood spilling from their mouths, their gasps swallowed by the chaos. The room erupted in screams, a cacophony of terror from the other women, but before Archer could process the horror, Ellie was struck next.

A second bullet tore through her chest, the force hurling her backward, her body crashing against the wall with a sickening thud. Archer’s vision blurred, his pulse pounding in his ears as the scene burned itself into his soul. Rage surged within him, an inferno that consumed every rational thought, igniting a primal fury he could no longer contain.

His voice tore from his throat, shaking the very air as he lost his shit. ”How? How! How dare they!”

The chaos escalated in a heartbeat, the air thick with the tang of blood and crack of gunfire. Cece and Sasha crumpled next, their bodies jerking as bullets tore through them, their cries swallowed by the cacophony. Elizabeth followed, her frame collapsing under the onslaught, each impact a fresh wound to his soul.
