A Journey That Changed The World

Chapter 1571 - 1571: I Think The Babies Have Missed You

Archer motioned toward the woman who was barely standing, thanks to being weak due to the poison, as he quickly helped support her and continued revealing the new him. ”Yes, I was previously crazy, but since meeting Freya and the girls, I don’t want to be like that anymore. I felt lost.”

When Maeve, Ashoka, and Aisha heard this, they gazed at him with a newfound love as the tigress spoke first. ”We can see the change every day, and I won’t lie, everyone has been loving the new you.”

”That makes sense,” he muttered. ”Most of you have been showering me with love every time I see one of you.”

While they were talking, Yevdokiya feinted due to the blood loss and poison, causing Aisha to speak. ”Take her to the empty palace in the north, we can’t risk her around the children.”

With a nod, Archer teleported Yevdokiya to his mountain palace, a retreat carved into the cliffs. He had built for those in his harem seeking peace from the rest. Moments later, they materialized in an unoccupied bedroom. Gently, he laid the slumbering princess on the bed, ensuring her comfort before stepping back.

Afterward, he made sure Yevdokiya was comfortable and clean. He cast Cleasne on her and watched as the violet mana washed across her body. She let out a happy sigh before rolling over, falling into a deeper sleep. Once that was done, he returned to the palace so he can see Nefertiti and his twins.

Archer appeared in the succubus’s room only to hear her soft voice reach his ears. ”Hello, handsome, I’m glad you came. I think the babies have missed you.”

He turned around only to see Nefertiti holding Isis while Tarek was asleep in the nearby cot, causing him to smile as he greeted her. ”Hello Nefi, sorry I haven’t come sooner been making sure the new conquests are locked down.”

The pink-haired beauty waved his concern away, beaming. ”I understand, Arch, I really do. You’re an emperor of a growing empire and still make time for all of us.” ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛ ꜰʀᴏᴍ N0veI.Fiɾe.net

Archer approached the woman and wrapped her alongside the baby in a tight hug. Isis let out a happy babble as she grabbed his shirt. He glanced down and scooped the little bundle of joy in his arms before kissing her chubby cheeks. The little brown-skinned girl let out even more happy noises.

This put a bright smile on his face as he sat down, pulling out a bottle as he asked Nefertiti. ”Does she need to be fed?”

”Yes,” she nodded. ”I was going to do it, but you turned up.”

Archer gave the bottle to Isis, who eyed it with wary curiosity, as if it were some strange artifact. With a gentle smile, he soothed the tiny baby. ”It’s mana milk, my sweet. Most of your siblings have tried it and love it.”

At his words, Isis’s violet eyes widened with intrigue. Hesitantly at first, she began to drink, her tiny hands clutching the bottle as he held it. While doing this, Nefertiti grabbed Tarek from the cot and started winding him. The little boy let out some big burps, making the couple laugh in amusement.

”Greedy like his father,” she teased, a smirk crossing her face.

Archer nodded. ”Just like most of my children, they love food and being lazy,” he added.

Following that, the couple continued chatting as he fed Isis, who held his hand like she didn’t want him to go anyway. He found this cute and looked at his daughter and reassured her. ”I’m not going anywhere, Isis, I’ll always be here for you.”

The baby smiled even though she was busy drinking, causing the succubus to speak up. ”These children adore you. You better not break any of their hearts.”

When those words left her lips, Archer glanced at her with a serious look in his eyes. ”And why would I do that,t Nefertiti? You know I worship these babies with all my heart, hurting them is the last thing I’d do.”

The pink-haired woman’s face lit up as she quickly explained. ”I was just testing you, husband. I love it when you give me that look.”

Archer let out a warm chuckle at his succubus wife’s playful demeanor and rose to meet her lips in a fervent kiss, with little Isis nestled between them. The baby let out a delighted squeal, but her tiny brow furrowed, signaling her desire to focus on her meal. Sensing her mood, he eased back into his seat, cradling the fussy girl as he continued to feed her, a fond smile tugging at his lips.

After some time, he was finished and began winding the pink-haired baby who clung onto him like a koala, making the scene even cuter as Nefertiti watched with Tarek in her arms. He started patting her back until a loud burp erupted, making Isis laugh at the noise. This put a smile on his face before she yawned.

”Looks like the little princess is tired,” her mother commented.

Nefertiti came and swapped the twins around, so he now had the white-haired Tarek, who was too busy watching him with his wide pink eyes. Archer couldn’t help but tickle his only son, earning him a belly-rousing giggle while trying to get away, but he wouldn’t let the little boy go.

”Looks like you have some strength,” he mused. ”I can’t wait to see how you grow, Tarek. I bet you’ll be loved by the ladies.”

”Just like his father?” Nefertiti teased him once again.

”That was when I was younger, Nef,” he retorted. ”I don’t go hunting for women anymore, apart from the empresses that I got with.”

The succubus giggled. ”What about the enemy princess? A little bird told me you took her to the new palace before me?”

Archer’s face paled as he explained with an apologetic tone. ”Sorry about that, I’d rather have her stay there until I know she’s not a threat than here where our children live alongside the other women.”

”It was the correct thing to do,” she said proudly. ”I’m glad you take our safety seriously, you know, some of us can’t fight as well as others?”

”I know, that’s why I was being cautious, even though I’ve changed,” Archer said softly.

Nefertiti started changing Isis, the little pink-haired girl wasn’t making it easy for her mother to do it, but he spoke in a love-filled voice. ”My Isis, can you let your mama finish changing you, please?”

The girl’s head snapped in his direction with a cheeky smile on her cute face, but she did stop moving around, allowing the succubus to change her nappy. While this was happening, he turned his attention to the boy in his arms. He playfully tickled the little boy’s chubby belly, eliciting a burst of giggles as he wriggled with delight.

”Look at you,” Archer softly said. ”You’re a little me, I can see my hair, face, cheeks.”

While speaking, he poked the places it was naming, making Tarek laugh even more before looking at him with so much love that it took his breath. Archer stared at the boy and noticed the pure mana flowing through his pink eyes. ”So much energy already, I bet when you turn thirteen you’ll be strong just like I was.”

After making sure his little boy was settled, he devoted the rest of the afternoon to the three, showering them with attention. The hours slipped by in a warm haze, the kind that made time feel quick yet eternal. It wasn’t until the golden light of day faded into the deep indigo of night that he realized how late it had grown.

Pausing at the threshold of their chamber, he glanced back at Nefertiti, her pink hair catching the moonlight as she beckoned him with a soft smile. Unable to resist, Archer turned back and slipped into bed beside her. Nefertiti nestled against him instantly, her warmth enveloping him as she curled into his side, her breath steady and comforting.

A quiet contentment washed over him, a deep gratitude for the life he had created with her and the others. He marveled at how beautiful it had all become. Archer had never imagined a life surrounded by so many remarkable women, each bringing their own fire and elegance to his world.

But it was the children who truly astonished him. They were a light that lit up his world. The harem, with all its love, was a treasure, but the joy of his children was a different kind of magic, one that grounded him and filled him with a sense of purpose. As he lay there, Nefertiti’s gentle breathing lulling him toward sleep, Archer felt a certainty that this chaotic, love-filled life was exactly where he was meant to be.

The next morning, he woke up feeling fresh and had Isis sitting on his chest, looking at him with a cheeky grin as she began babbling until Nefertiti’s voice sounded. ”She’s been sitting there for some time waiting for you to wake up.”
