A Journey That Changed The World

Chapter 1570 - 1570: Without A Doubt

Archer was sitting in Vivienne’s house, feeding Antonia while finishing the tea the redheaded beauty had made. It gave him extra energy, confusing him, but he didn’t question it and spoke. ”Thanks for the drink, it was delicious and strangely refreshing.”

The Ant Queen giggled at his words while nodding. ”Yes, it is. Bella gave me some honey from her stocks. It goes well with the ingredients that my workers gather from the world above.”

”Oh, that makes sense now,” he replied. ”I haven’t had the chance to try it, but now seems like a good time.”

Following that, Antonia babbled before letting out a deep yawn that he found adorable and stood up. ”I’m going to get her back to Ari; she needs to sleep thanks to being so young.”

Vivienne beamed and approached him before giving him a passionate kiss as she said her goodbyes. ”I’ll see you soon, handsome. I’ll pop by and see you once I finish sorting out the colony.”

Archer gave the older woman a charming smile and vanished back to the palace, where Ari was waiting in her room. When he materialized in front of the white-haired beauty, her face lit up. ”Looks like my two favorite people are back.”

”Yes, our little girl is tired and needs some sleep after being fed,” he said, smiling at the baby who was staring at him with her big pink eyes.

Ari stood up and scooped the bundle of joy into her arms before kissing her all over the face. ”I love you so much, Antonia, my beautiful little girl.”

The baby started giggling while trying to escape, but the Elemental woman ignored it and continued. ”Now stay still and let me smooch you all over.”

Archer watched as Antonia burst into a fit of uncontrollable giggles as her mother kissed her face. He couldn’t keep the genuine smile off his face thanks to his daughter’s laugh and his wife’s silly behaviour that he never expected of her. ”You never cease to amaze me, Ari. The way you are with the children is special.”

When the white-haired woman heard this, she looked at him with a sparkle in her eye as she answered. ”Yes, because they’re all your’s my love. Any baby that comes from you is mine also just like the others. The harem worship these babies, and you know it.”

‘Some of them get all sentimental about it,’ he thought with a faint smile, thinking of Lucrezia, Morena, and Demacia in particular.

As their names crossed his mind, he used the dragon tattoos to send a message, checking if they were free. As he suspected, they were all occupied as Lucrezia replied first. ‘Playing with Freya, Neoma and Kela. Hecate needed a break.’

‘Conducting new experiments on the humans you gave me, husband,’ Morena was next.

Lastly, Demacia appeared from a portal, an upset expression crossing her face, prompting Archer to hug the Necromancer as she complained. ”Big sister won’t let me help with the fun, she’s becoming boring since being with you.”

”Don’t blame me, woman,” he retorted, making Ari and Antonia giggle.

When that sweet sound echoed out, Demacia’s blue eyes snapped toward the baby in the Elemental’s arm. Antonia was staring at the grey-skinned woman in fascination and wonder, as it was the first time the two had met. The Necromancer’s face lit up as she exclaimed. ”Oh my goddess! Aren’t you a gorgeous little girl just like your older sisters!”

The baby got happy at the woman’s excitement, she started clapping her hands just as Demacia rushed toward her and started fussing. Ari giggled and offered with a knowing smile. ”Would you like to hold your youngest daughter, Dem?”

When the Necromancer heard this, her blue eyes lit up as she took the wiggling Antonia and held her tight, and continued. ”Oh, look at you, just like your beautiful mama, but I can see your silly papa in you.”

The little one gave Demacia the gummiest smile she could, causing her to give the baby kisses all over her face just like Ari did. The little white-haired girl loved every second of it and basked in the attention she was receiving, making Archer laugh as he finally spoke. ”Looks like you’re a natural at this, Dem, and she seems to like you.”

As he said that, the Necromancer glanced at him, revealing. ”Of course she does, I’ve met her big sisters and that adorable little boy Nefi gave birth to, Tarek. He’s your double with the white hair and features; he’ll grow to be just like you, Arch. Just with brown skin and pink eyes like his mother.”

When Archer heard her praise, his heart raced, but Demacia continued. ”Go see them, I’ll stay here with these two.”

”Thank you,” he replied before kissing both women and vanishing.

Moments later, Archer materialized in Nefertiti’s chamber, only to hear Aisha’s voice resonating in his mind. ”Come to Dragonport, my love. There’s someone here you must meet.”

With a sigh, he teleported to the bustling port, where his Dragonkin wife stood encircled by Oathkeepers. His gaze, however, was drawn to a grey-haired woman, battered and bound in chains, flanked by Ashoka and Maeve as they disembarked from a battleship. ‘Oh she’s dying!’ he thought, shocked.

Archer recognized her instantly, Yevdokiya Volkovitch, the cherished princess of the Novgorod Empire, daughter of the emperor. An inexplicable pull tugged at his core. ”Leave us,” he commanded, his voice cutting through the murmurs, startling everyone. ”And unchain her.”

Yevdokiya struggled to her feet, defiance blazing in her eyes. ”What do you want with me?” she spat in a heavy Russian accent. ”To torment me further?!”

Archer closed the distance swiftly, his hand gently cupping her cheek. A soft pulse of mana flowed from his touch, easing into her wounds as she snapped again. ”What are you doing to me!”

”Healing you, I don’t want another death on my conscience.”

The woman looked shocked, disgusted, and horrified, but soon the pain was too much as she rejected his help. ”Leave me alone!”

”Shut up and let me finish!”

Yevdokiya went silent as everyone left them alone. Archer’s mana repaired everything inside her, including her damaged organs. There was a poison running through her veins, and he knew who it belonged to. ‘Terravians!’

Following that, he finished healing her and went to pull his hand back, but she grabbed it, confusing him as he questioned. ”What are you doing?”

”Please let me hold onto it for a little longer,” she whispered, looking into his eyes with her vulnerable blue ones. ”This feeling, I’ve never felt anything like it.”

Archer smiled as he responded. ”Well, how can I say no when you asked me like that?”

To everyone’s shock, he wrapped his arms around the enemy princess, who sank into his embrace as she mumbled. ”Why are you so warm? I’ve never met someone who gives me this feeling.”

”Archer! What is the meaning of this!” Aisha demanded.

All he did was hold his hand up, signalling for everyone to wait as he replied to Yevdokiya. ”It’s who I am, especially now my children have joined me in this world. There’s no point in being the big bad dragon anymore when I have little ones who look up to me?”

”With all your power, you don’t have to listen to anyone; it was your children who changed the infamous White Dragon?” the Novgorod Princess asked.

Archer stepped back, nodding with the biggest smile on his face. ”Yes. Without a doubt, if those little girls and boy weren’t born, the world would be on fire thanks to your father.”

When Yevdokiya heard this, she shivered in fright, causing him to hold her once again, calming the princess down as she thanked him. ”Thank you for not killing me. I’ve caused you so much trouble, but here you are comforting me.”

”I guess so,” he said, chuckling. ”Come on, let’s head to the palace so you can rest after being poisoned by your family.”

The woman’s eyes widened in shock as she asked. ”How do you know that?”

”I destroyed it and absorbed the effects,” he revealed, coughing up blood.

When Ashoka and Maeve saw this, they panicked. ”Arch! What’s wrong with you!” The Tigress questioned as she rushed to him.

Archer let Yevdokiya go and hugged his brown-skinned beauty, reassuring her. ”Don’t worry, it will be gone in a second.”

Just then, he spat up some black stuff and pointed at it. ”It’s a Terravian poison that breaks down one’s body from the inside out, but I’ve experienced the original; this version is shit and only could work on humans.” Fresh chapters posted on novel-fire.et

”Why would you do such a thing for the enemy!” Maeve exclaimed, enraged that he put himself at risk.

Archer chuckled before kissing the two women. ”Why should I let her die because I hate her father? Yevdokiya hasn’t done much to me, and we’ve only met a few times when she was a Novgorod fanatic, but look at her now?”
