Chapter 1369 1369: What Brings You Two Here?
Archer returned to the Placidia fortress after spending time with the Monster Monarchs. By the time he got back, the silver-haired elf had returned with bulging eyes as she revealed. ”There’s a city a few miles north. We should check it out for treasure.”
He was about to speak, but Inara, Ashoka, and Maeve got excited expressions on their beautiful faces. This put a smile on his face as he would let them explore it themselves, prompting him to interrupt them.
”Ladies, you four can explore on your own; you seem eager to do so,” he said with a small smile. But then his expression turned serious. ”If anything goes wrong, call me immediately. Promise me that.”
As the group heard this, they beamed before attempting to hug him but Archer stopped them while taking out three boxes. Just as this happened Talila became excited as she stepped to the side.
”This is going to be good,” she snickered.
Ashoka looked at the elf with narrowed eyes but yelped when Archer grabbed her soft hand while giving her a charming smile. The tigress was confused until he slipped a pretty amber gem onto her finger,
The beautiful brown skinned woman stiffened at the sight, her tail went as straight as a ruler while her ears twitched. Archer smiled before speaking in a tone full of love. ”Would you marry me, Ashoka Genasha?”
When the other women saw this, smiles appeared as they went quiet, waiting for the tigress to answer. Moments later, she started nodding, and suddenly, a beaming smile appeared as she hugged him.
”Yes, Arch! I’ll happily become your wife,” Ashoka responded to his proposal. ”I’ve been waiting for you to ask since the others told me about it.”
Archer returned the hug. ”Sorry for the timing, but I’m working my way around everyone while there’s some downtime from the war,” he replied.
Following that, the tigress moved allowing Maeve to step forward with red cheeks but a happy gleam in her grey eyes. His eyes roamed up and down her muscular but curvy body, which made the young woman tremble.
”Would you like to be my wife?” he asked with a charming smile. ”Like I said before, it means nothing on Thrylos but on my old world. It is a marriage tradition that I want to start with you girls.”
The fiery-haired beauty nodded, her eyes shining with emotion, before capturing his lips in a passionate kiss. His heart pounded, but he matched her intensity, gently sliding a gleaming orange ring onto her finger.
When they broke apart Maeve was staring at the ring with a big smile and wet eyes as she muttered. ”Thank you, handsome. I’m so happy that we can follow your tradition.”
Archer could not help but be happy when seeing the young woman’s reaction as she rushed over to Ashoka while gossiping with the tigress. He chuckled before turning to Inara with a knowing smile.
”And you, my mature lioness,” he said. ”Would you like to marry me?”
The older woman looked confused, prompting her to ask. ”We haven’t been together long. Why are you asking me all of a sudden?”
He vanished in an instant, reappearing behind Inara. Leaning in, he teasingly nibbled her fluffy ear, earning him a startled yelp. With a smirk, he wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her against him.
”You’re not escaping me. We’re together, and that means you’re becoming my wife,” he whispered.
With a smile, Archer slipped a ring onto her finger, its light red gem gleaming, perfectly matching Inara’s. The sight sent a delightful shiver through the lioness, her golden eyes shimmering with emotion.
She turned to face him, capturing his lips in a deep kiss before pulling back with a radiant smile. ”Yes, I’d happily marry you, dragon,” she declared, grinning playfully. ”At least now I can brag that my husband is younger than me.”
Following that, Talila appeared with an amused expression as she teased him. ”I love the way you can turn grown women into little girls with a big smile. Just look at them, handsome. Their swooning over the rings.”
His eyes landed on her finger where a ring sat, causing the young woman to comment. ”I love mine, don’t worry, husband.”
Archer chuckled before pressing a kiss to the silver-haired elf’s lips, then handed out a small set of pills. ”Take these to protect against jungle diseases,” he instructed. ”The wilderness here is untamed, and none of you are expert healers.”
Each woman took one and stored it in their storage rings as he continued. ”Make sure to take a few cohorts and Broodmaws with you. If anything goes wrong summon me or return to the Domain.
Just then, a portal opened, and Valariana, alongside Vivienne, appeared, causing his eyebrow to rise as he questioned. ”What brings you two here?”
The redhead spoke with a knowing smile. ”We will accompany them to make sure the deadly monsters can’t hurt anyone.”
Valariana nodded before adding. ”I’m a Demi God and can take on most monsters with Vivi’s help.”
Archer chuckled while looking at the group and ushered them inside the Domain as the winter storms battered the fortress. Once in the warmth, he grabbed the ant queen’s hand and dragged her to the side.
He slid a ring on Vivienne’s finger, which confused the older woman as it showed on her pretty face. ”Why are you putting human jewelry on me, husband?”
”It’s a tradition from my old world that symbolizes love between a couple,” he explained with a charming smile.
Vivienne beamed when finally understanding and suddenly shoved his head into her deep cleavage while declaring. ”I shall wear it with love! I love it; it’s the same color as my hair and eyes.”
Archer couldn’t help but laugh at the woman’s happy reaction just as Valariana appeared with her hands on her hips. ”What are you two doing? Why sneak off?” she asked with a serious expression.
He didn’t respond when hearing her question. Instead, using his Mana Manipulation, he pulled the stunning blonde toward him, his lips brushing her neck before sinking his teeth into her soft skin.
The Chull Queen trembled in pleasure at the sharp sensation, her body instinctively drawing closer to him as she gripped him tightly. After a few seconds, Archer leaned back with a grin before sliding a black gem onto her finger.
When Valariana saw this her dark eyes widened as she suddenly exclaimed, which made Vivienne jump. ”Yes!”
Archer smiled before questioning. ”Did the others tell you?”
The blonde nodded with a radiant smile, but soon the other women appeared and dragged the Monarchs into the living room as Ashoka started making tea as she called out to him. ”Arch! Do you want a hot drink?”
”Yes, please,” he answered before walking back to the others and slumping in a nearby sofa.
Archer leaned his head back as the warm air washed over his skin, and the treehouse was slightly shaking because of the wind. He grew concerned prompting him to scan the entire tree.
The roots were deep in the ground and ended on the ceiling of his horde. With a single thought, he transformed them into metal that latched onto the nearby stone, which rooted the tree even more.
Once the swaying stopped, Hemera, Llyniel, and Halime appeared in the treehouse, gossiping. When Maeve spotted the sun elf, she jumped up while speaking. ”Hemi! What other information do you have for us, girl?”
Archer watched the brown-skinned woman sigh as the other two laughed before she pointed at the kitchen table. ”Take a seat, I’ve got a few things to explain.”
Following that, Hemera turned toward the group and concluded in a teacher-like attitude. ”Everyone else who is exploring Placidia, get here now.”
‘Wow, she’s so serious when it comes to knowledge,’ he mused with a proud smile.
Maeve, Talila, Ashoka, Inara, Vivienne, and Valariana gathered around the table with Hemera, leaving Halime and Llyniel to Archer. With a mischievous grin, he pulled the two beauties into his lap, greeting them both with affectionate kisses and playful cuddles.
”How have you been darling?” the snake woman asked while nuzzling up to his neck as her tongue ran along his neck.
Archer shook when feeling that before answering. ”I’ve been good, Hali. How are your poison experiments going? Successful, I hope?”
The brown-skinned beauty sighed. ”I’ve hit a roadblock, but Nefi suggested I search the Domain for poison monsters,” she responded.
”There’s plenty here, my love,” he revealed. ”Thousands of them, in fact, but you’ll have to travel south along the road. It seems like they’ve retreated to the hotter areas of this place.”
Halime’s frown vanished as she beamed before speaking. ”I’ll check it out in the morning.”
Afterward, Archer turned to Llyniel and questioned her with a curious expression. ”How are the plants?”
The wood elf’s brown eyes sparkled as she started speaking. ”I’ve found away to improve that corn you gave me. it seems like it’s popular as the farmers are always buying it according to Ella.”
