A Journey That Changed The World

Chapter 1368 1368: Nothing New To Us Master

Archer was standing on the treehouse’s balcony while admiring the setting sun as the moon appeared in the sky. He watched as a swarm of Venomwings passed by while carrying Umbraworms.

‘Looks like every colony is taking advantage of them,’ he thought with a chuckle before closing his eyes and scanning the worms’ home.

To his surprise, there were billions of Umbraworms growing more numerous, allowing him to take a few dozen before sharing them out between the colonies, causing the queens to thank him.

While standing there, Maeve’s voice sounded in his mind. ‘Husband, can you come check out the surrounding jungle? The Broodmaw’s have vanished.’

Archer scanned for the monsters and she was right, causing him to mutter. ”What’s going on here?”

Following that, he teleported to the beautiful orange-haired beauty who was standing on the wall alongside Ashoka. The two women turned to him with worried expressions as he gave them both a kiss and cuddle.

”What’s going on, girls?” he curiously questioned.

”Giant Worms are attacking any soldiers we’ve sent out, and Tali is still out there,” Maeve revealed.

Archer used the tattoo to check on the silver-haired elf who was hunting miles away, and he was fine. He sent a small army of Broodmaws to go protect her before turning back to the jungle while spotting something moving through the underbrush.

Without hesitation, he teleported directly to the monster, seizing it in an instant. The beast halted abruptly as he soared into the sky, pulling a massive, scale-covered worm along with him.

As he scanned the monster, a satisfied smile spread across his face as he muttered. ”This thing will be useful.”

”If you want to live, take me to your home now,” he warned with a growl.

The worm looked at Archer and realized he was serious before taking him to its colony, which was a few miles away. While traveling on the monster’s back, he sends a message to Maeve.

He informed the warrior woman that he would be back once he’d dealt with the monsters, which made her relax. Following that, he relaxed as they rushed across the landscape until they arrived at a group of caves.

A massive version of the Earthmaw Worm appeared. An old female voice echoed in his mind. ‘What do you want dragon? Come to wipe us out again?’

Archer shook his head with a knowing smile before speaking. ”Not at all. I come to offer you a haven where your kind can grow numerous and strong so you could fight in my armies.”

When the Earthmaw Queen Worm commented. ‘You want us to battle? With who?’

”Not entirely sure yet, but your race won’t be threatened in my Domain,” he said while opening a portal to an empty part.

Sensing the mana, food, and other forms of life, the monsters grew excited when sensing the untouched world they were being offered as a new home. When seeing this, the queen declared, ”We agree, master.”

Following that, he waved them through with a big smile. ”Go through and make a home for yourselves, but be warned, you’ll be attacked by other monsters.”

‘Nothing new to us master, we just want a safe place to let our young grow,’ she revealed.

Archer remembered what she said before, causing him to ask. ”Are there other dragons around here?”

The Earthmaw Queen nodded. ‘Yes, but further north. Be warned; they are wild dragons and powerful,” she revealed.

”Thank you,” he replied before watching the horde of armored worms dash through the portal.

They burrowed into the untouched ground and started creating a new tunnel system, but Archer offered. ”Do you want me to make a chasm for you?”

‘Yes please,’ she replied. ‘It will be added protection for our home.’

Following that, he closed his eyes and started carving out a massive chasm for the Earthmaw Worm colony. When the queen witnessed this, she was shocked, but the workers poured into it.

Once that was done, Archer spoke with a smile. ”I’ll leave you to it, hopefully, your colony grows massive.”

He teleported to the Venomwing colony that was built into the side of a mountain and, to his surprise had another entrance in the nearby forest. As soon as he appeared, a swarm of flying insects surrounded him.

Archer chuckled at their alertness and nodded with a proud smile. ”It’s good that you reacted instantly, but now give me a lift to your queen. I want to see her.”

As the words left his lips, a bigger Venomwing appeared and landed with a thud, allowing him to climb on its back before it entered the colony that was made up of massive tunnels, which gave the monsters enough room to fly.

The guardian started traveling through it as Archer spotted thousands of workers carrying food, eggs, or materials for the colony. Small tunnels branched off even deeper, causing him to assume they were the sleep chambers.

Soon after that, the creature landed outside a treehouse looking place, which reminded him of his on the surface. Just then, Monica appeared out of the entrance with a big smile and glowing red eyes.

Archer noticed her hair was tied into a ponytail like most of his women, prompting him to think. ‘Is she copying the others?’

”Hello master, I’m elated that you came to see me,” she purred while approaching as he jumped off the Venomwing’s back with a thud.

”Sorry its been a while, Monica, but now the war is on pause I have some free time,” he revealed with a charming smile.

The Venomwing Queen waved away his apology with a pleased expression. ”I’m glad you came to see me now handsome, would you like some tea?” she asked.

”Is it the honey stuff Vivienne has?” he replied while following her inside the treehouse-like building.

”Yes, but I made my personalized batch, which is different compared to Reds,” the white-haired beauty answered with an alluring smile.

Archer chuckled as she ushered him inside with a sweet smile before pushing him onto the nearby sofa and spoke sweetly. ”Now wait here, master. Gia should be here soon. She comes every day to talk.”

Just as the words left her lips, the Chasm Spider Queen stepped through another door with a fed-up expression as she complained. ”Damn Broodmaws are becoming annoying, they are always interrupting my children’s hunt.”

Monica giggled before walking toward the kitchen as the purple-haired beauty stopped short when seeing him sitting there looking at her with a smile. Her cheeks went red as she quickly spoke. ”Sorry for my moaning, master.”

Archer burst into laughter at her adorable expression, his amusement only growing as he watched her fluster. Without hesitation, he cast Mana Manipulation to lift the older woman and pull her toward him.

Her embarrassment deepened, and her ears burned a bright, unmistakable red, which made his smile grow wide. Soon enough, Monica was in his lap while avoiding every contact as he started playing with her soft hair.

”How have you been?” he asked with a smile. ”I hope the colony is growing stronger.”

When the purple-haired beauty heard this, her smile grew wide before she excitedly started speaking. ”Amazing master! My children are stronger than ever and can stand up against those giant lizard-like monsters that roam the area we live in.”

Archer’s eyebrow rose in curiosity, and he scanned the Domain, only to realize what creatures they were. ”Dinosaurs! When did I kidnap these?” he muttered.

Moments later, he looked for more and realized millions were roaming around the realm, and there were thousands of nests. This shocked him but he asked the older woman. ”Do you want me to put a warning on the Chasm Spiders? They won’t be attacking.”

Monica quickly shook her head before rejecting his offer. ”No, thank you, we get enough dead bodies to feed the young, and my warriors grow stronger even though hundreds die during the battles.”

”No problem,” he said just as Gia appeared with three cups on a tray.

The Chasm Spider Queen rose gracefully and settled onto a nearby sofa, cradling the warm drink in her hands. She took a slow sip, her lips curling into a satisfied smile. Archer watched her with curiosity before taking a sip of his own.

‘This is delicious,’ he thought.

To his surprise, the taste was tangy, a stark contrast to the sweet flavor of Vivienne’s tea. While drinking, Gia looked at him and smiled. ”Thank you for the bodies, master. The babies enjoyed the surprise meal.”

Archer waved her away. ”Don’t worry about it, there was too many littering the battlefield and would have turned to bones. So I gave them to my colonies so they could get extra food for the winter,” he explained.

The two women nodded in understanding as they continued their conversation. It wasn’t long before he discovered the surprising news: their monsters were evolving into new forms, each adapted for battle.

‘This is good, I have a feeling the Alliance will have something new to fight us with,’ he thought while finishing off the tea.
