When I woke up, Lili was no longer lying beside me. I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom. I took a cold shower and got dressed before heading downstairs. Since I wasn’t going to the Dungeon today, I put on some casual clothes.

Once I got downstairs, I saw that only Lili was sitting at the table, eating by herself.

She had made sandwiches and juice for both of us. As soon as I approached the table, she said, "You were sleeping so peacefully, I didn’t want to wake you up. The other girls are still asleep too. You all had a lot of fun last night, huh?"

"Yeah, it was fun."

"Here, you should eat too."

"I think I’d better make breakfast for everyone. When Tiona, Haruhime, and Hestia wake up, they’ll be really hungry."

"Even so, have one. They’re good."

"Alright, alright."

I picked up one of the sandwiches and took a bite.

"Mmm, it’s good."

It was really delicious.

"You can have the rest. I’m full already." Lili stood up.

"Are you going out?"

"No, I’m going to my room now. You said we’d spend time together today, didn’t you? I’ll stay in my room and wait until you come get me."

"I’ll come to your room after breakfast. There are a few things I want to test today."

"I’m curious."

Lili went upstairs, and I finished the sandwiches before heading into the kitchen to prepare breakfast for everyone. Once I was done, I went upstairs and headed to Hephaestus’s room. I knocked on the door a few times, but no one answered. ℯℯ𝑙.

So I opened the door.

As soon as I stepped inside, I saw that everything was neat and tidy, and Haruhime was lying peacefully in her bed. I walked over and poked her cheek with my finger. Then I gently touched her ears, which twitched slightly.

Haruhime slowly opened her eyes.

"Hm? Luan?"

"It’s time to wake up. Breakfast is ready."

Hearing my words, Haruhime smiled and said, "Alright, thank you."

Then she closed her eyes again.

She looks really tired.

So I said, "I’ll save some food for you."

After that, I left her room and went to Hestia’s. She was sleeping just like Haruhime had been, but as soon as I woke her up, she got out of bed. Mikoto also got up as soon as I woke her, and the two of them headed downstairs.

We had breakfast together, and after we finished eating, Haruhime finally came downstairs.

I left the three girls chatting at the table and went to Lili’s room.

As soon as I entered, I walked over to her bed and held out my hand.

"Hm?"

Lili looked confused, but she took my hand.

A few seconds later, we were in my room with my computer. Lili was sitting on the bed while I stood beside it, still holding her hand. She looked around and asked,

"What are we doing here?"

"I want to test something. It’ll be fun."

I turned on my computer and opened the shop so I could buy internet access. I had enough points to purchase the lowest-speed plan.

Just 1 MB/s, but that’s more than enough for now.

I’m not planning on downloading anything.

So I finally bought internet access.

The moment I did, I tried opening YouTube, and to my surprise, it loaded.

Not only that, but I was already logged into my account, and every channel I used to watch was still there. I could even watch the newest videos.

Though with internet this slow, watching videos is a bit of a pain...

Staring at the computer screen, Lili asked,

"What is all of this?"

"Hm... don’t think too much about it."

Since I didn’t want Lili learning about the existence of other worlds and things like that, I closed YouTube and opened Twitter instead. My account was still logged in, and I had received several private messages.

They were all from friends I knew online.

I decided not to open any of the conversations or reply to any of the messages.

Lili, unable to understand anything written there since it was all in English, asked,

"What’s written here? Who is this person?"

So I gave her a rough explanation of how everything worked. I told her that all of those people had computers just like mine, and that we could communicate even while being far apart.

"Oh, I see."

"But I’d rather not interact with them."

What would they think if I told them I was in the world of DanMachi?

Would they think I’d gone crazy?

If I suddenly started replying now, they’d probably think my account had been hacked.

’Should I search for myself on Google?’

Normally, if you search for someone who’s gone missing or died, you can usually find some information.

But since Lili was with me, I decided not to.

Still, I started feeling nervous.

Anxiety slowly crept in, so I closed Twitter as well.

"What happened? You look a little pale."

"Yeah. We can go anywhere. We could even go to the Dungeon... or outside Orario."

After thinking for a moment, Lili said,

"It’s been a long time since I last left Orario. That could be fun."

"Alright then. Take my hand."

Lili held out her hand, and I took it.

This will be my first time leaving Orario.

Where should I go?

We could visit the mountain village... or maybe a distant town.

What if I went to the elves’ forest?

No... that would probably cause trouble.

After giving it a little more thought, I teleported away together with Lili.
