Chapter 253: Chapter 253: Jealous Lu Feng

After dinner, Lu Lin and Lu Chen were vying to wash the dishes, while Lu Feng went to the study after his shower, a rare occurrence as he didn’t stick around Fu Xiaoxiao.

After tutoring Lu Lin and Lu Chen with their homework and having them take a bath, the two little guys eagerly scrambled up to their secret base, not forgetting to say goodnight to Fu Xiaoxiao.

"Mom, goodnight!"

"Goodnight."

Fu Xiaoxiao smiled, watching the two little ones lie in the small room on the second floor, looking up at the stars and chattering away.

Fu Xiaoxiao looked at the silhouette in the study. The once wagging tail now lay there still.

It was obvious that a certain someone was sulking.

Fu Xiaoxiao glanced over without acknowledging the stiff body and walked past to grab some clothes before heading for her shower.

After showering, Fu Xiaoxiao came out in her pajamas with damp hair.

Seeing her with wet hair, Lu Feng silently fetched a dry towel and approached Fu Xiaoxiao.

"Let me dry your hair. You shouldn’t sleep with wet hair; you’ll catch a cold."

"Okay." Fu Xiaoxiao curled her lips into a smile, sitting down on the bed and turning to let Lu Feng dry her hair.

Lu Feng half-kneeled by the bed, gently pressing the towel to her scalp. The soapy scent wafted up, and his fingertips encountered her soft strands.

Fu Xiaoxiao leaned closer to Lu Feng, her neck revealing skin flushed by warm water. Lu Feng’s Adam’s apple bobbed, and he began carefully wiping away the droplets behind her ear with the towel corner.

His gentle hands wrapped her long hair in the towel, slowly massaging, occasionally snagging a few strands in his rough knuckles, the silky feel like satin, tugging at his heart.

Finally, after drying her hair, Lu Feng intended to let go.

Fu Xiaoxiao turned around, wrapped her arms around Lu Feng’s neck, and gave a soft laugh, a silent invitation.

Lu Feng swallowed, his voice deep. "What’s wrong?"

Fu Xiaoxiao’s fingertips felt his rapid heartbeat. "Sulking?"

"No." Lu Feng gave a light cough, refusing to admit it.

"Saying you’re not, yet I can smell the sourness from afar." Fu Xiaoxiao knelt slightly, her face resting against Lu Feng’s chest, chuckling softly.

"How could I be jealous?" Lu Feng pursed his lips, denying everything.

He definitely wasn’t jealous, definitely not.

"Did I neglect you? Surely you’re not unhappy?" Fu Xiaoxiao turned her head, concealing the amusement in her eyes.

"No, I won’t blame you for anything you do, nor will I be angry with you." Lu Feng said in a low tone.

He was only mad at himself.

"Really? Then should I not make the clothes I prepared for you?" Fu Xiaoxiao teased deliberately.

Lu Feng’s body stiffened; he had just claimed he wasn’t angry.

"You’re teasing me?" Realizing her intent, Lu Feng trapped her in his embrace, lightly biting her earlobe as punishment.

"I wouldn’t dare." Fu Xiaoxiao laughed out loud, kissing him willingly on the lips.

"Don’t be mad, there wasn’t enough time today, which is why I wasn’t able to finish. I’d never forget you." Fu Xiaoxiao softly coaxed, making Lu Feng chuckle.

"...I wasn’t upset." Lu Feng felt the need to reiterate that he wasn’t that petty.

"Sure, you weren’t upset, just feeling off all over." Fu Xiaoxiao went along, laughing with Lu Feng.

Not sure who was sitting there sulking, pretending to read documents, didn’t even notice they were upside down. As she passed by, his body stiffened and his tail wagged vigorously again.

She ignored him, and that tail instantly drooped again.

"...So obvious?" Lu Feng coughed awkwardly. Was he really that obvious?

"No, you hid it well." Fu Xiaoxiao laughed, biting his lower lip. "Just missing a note on your back saying, ’I’m angry, don’t try to console me.’"

Lu Feng watched Fu Xiaoxiao’s mischievous smile, finally unable to hold back, leaning down to kiss her lips.

"So you did it on purpose."

Lu Feng’s lips and teeth brushed over hers, as if to reclaim all the grievances from the teasing.

Only heaven knew how tumultuous his emotions had been just now.

Fu Xiaoxiao was kissed until she could hardly breathe, her hands against his chest trying to struggle, yet he held her wrists, deepening the kiss ceaselessly.

As if wanting to take it all back.

The mixed scents of soap filled the air, Lu Feng bit her lower lip, his voice tinged with huskiness.

"Still dare to tease me? Mock me on purpose!"

The air in the room seemed to ignite, all sounds completely drowned by the two’s chaotic breaths.

Fu Xiaoxiao’s eyes misted over, in the hazy vision, Lu Feng’s dark eyes gleamed.

He released her lips swollen from the kiss, but then trailed down her jawline, nibbling punishingly at her ear lobes, leaving ambiguous marks on her neck.

"Laugh at me again next time, and I’ll kiss you till you can’t talk." His whisper carried a seductive note, hot breath spraying over her heated skin, making Fu Xiaoxiao go limp all over.

Unexpectedly, Fu Xiaoxiao suddenly broke free from his grasp, grabbing his collar.

"I’ll do it again next time." She raised her head, eyes burning with the same fierce flame, taking the initiative to meet his lips.

This time, she lightly bit his lip, her tongue with a hint of revenge.

Lu Feng froze for a moment, then was ignited by her passion, their entangled breath growing more intense, neither willing to yield in this love competition.

Fu Xiaoxiao’s hair cascaded down, woven into a hazy curtain between them, the heat in her eyes almost scorching him.

Fu Xiaoxiao laughed, her voice laced with husky allure.

"Now I’ll consume every bit of you."

"As you wish." Lu Feng’s eyes blazed, the corners of his mouth lifting slightly.

The room’s temperature kept climbing, leaving only the moonlight pouring through the window, casting mottled shadows on their entwined forms.

The next morning, Fu Xiaoxiao turned over, and the fatigue in her whole body made her groan in pain.

Recalling last night’s madness, Fu Xiaoxiao buried herself under the covers.

Never expected herself to be so wild.

The soreness in her waist reminded her of how intense it was last night.

A pair of hot hands pressed against her waist, gently kneading.

Fu Xiaoxiao turned to see Lu Feng’s breezy face.

"Why are you still home?" Fu Xiaoxiao comfortably exhaled, looking at the man who should have gone to work by now.

"I came back to grab a document." Lu Feng raised the file in his hand.

"I’ll come home early today, you sleep some more." Lu Feng gently kissed Fu Xiaoxiao’s cheek.

"Okay." Fu Xiaoxiao didn’t refuse, she had just endured a sleepless night, only having just fallen asleep.

This damned man was full of energy, as if high on life.

"Then I’m off." Lu Feng couldn’t help but give Fu Xiaoxiao’s lips a peck, successfully stealing a kiss, tucked her back in, and then finally stepped out of the house.

Outside, Wang Zhijun looked helpless, as everyone was waiting for him to start the meeting, and he claimed to have left a document at home, one that he could have sent someone to fetch, but insisted on getting himself.

Watching Lu Feng head out with all his aura at full throttle, Wang Zhijun gulped.

Did he eat some kind of vitality pill?
