[Moonwell Liquid]

[Grade: Mythical]

[Description: A mysterious liquid containing extremely pure energy originating from the Moonwell.]

[Actual Value: 1,000,000–10,000,000 Gold Coins per bottle.]

Amon stared at the system panel for several seconds without saying anything.

The white liquid inside the small glass container looked completely harmless, almost like ordinary water that had somehow been mixed with milk.

His eyes slowly widened. ’What the hell?’

Amon picked up another bottle before activating Merchant’s Divine Insight again.

The same information appeared.

Every bottle contained Moonwell Liquid, and each one was worth an absurd amount of money depending on their purity.

Amon slowly closed the lid of the box.

A soft chuckle escaped his mouth. "What the fuck?"

He rubbed his temples as he tried to process what had just happened.

He had somehow stumbled across something that had been one of the major reasons behind the Thousand-Year War.

The Moonwell.

According to the historical record Marielle had translated, the vampires had originally discovered the Moonwell inside elven territory and wanted access to its pure spiritual energy.

The elves had refused.

That refusal had eventually contributed to a war that lasted for almost a thousand years.

’What the hell is happening between these two races?’ Amon couldn’t understand it.

The elves and vampires had spent centuries killing each other, yet he had just watched them exchange items as if they were business partners.

Even worse, one of those items was apparently Moonwell Liquid. ’Why would they cooperate now?’

There were too many possibilities.

Amon didn’t have enough information to reach a conclusion.

He slowly placed the bottle back inside the box and closed the lid completely.

Whatever the reason was, he knew one thing. This information was dangerous.

Amon stored the box inside his spatial bracelet.

His eyes then moved toward the two corpses lying several meters away.

He walked over to them and looked down at the bodies.

Amon crouched down. "Sorry about this."

He grabbed the first vampire’s head and body.

He stored it inside his bracelet and did the same for second head.

There was no reason to leave evidence lying around for someone else to discover.

Amon stood up and took a deep breath. The smell of sewage immediately filled his lungs.

He immediately regretted breathing so deeply. "Never doing that again."

He looked toward the tunnel leading back to the surface.

Amon started walking. His mind remained occupied with everything he had discovered.

’This is getting way too complicated.’

Amon finally reached the exit.

’I need to get this information to the upper leadership of the kingdom.’

He knew that the Adventurer Bureau would probably take the information seriously, but something stopped him from immediately returning there.

If the vampires had already infiltrated the kingdom’s highest levels, then there was a chance that some of the people receiving the information were involved.

Amon frowned. ’If I hand this information to the wrong person, I’ll basically be telling the vampires that I know everything.’

That could make the situation much worse.

He let out a quiet sigh. "At least I can tell Ragnar."

Duke Ragnar was one of the few people Amon trusted enough to take the situation seriously without immediately making a reckless move.

Amon pulled his phone from his pocket and searched for Ragnar’s number.

After a moment, he pressed call.

The phone rang twice before someone answered. "Amon?"

"I found something you should probably know about."

Ragnar’s voice became more serious. "Come to my residence."

---

After taking a bath and changing into a new set of clothes at a nearby hotel, Amon made his way toward the Duke of Edinburgh’s residence.

The smell of sewage had finally disappeared from his clothes.

When he arrived, he stopped outside the enormous estate and looked up at the building.

The residence was surrounded by tall stone walls and beautifully maintained gardens, with several large mana crystals embedded along the entrance to provide illumination.

Amon glanced toward the side of the estate.

Beyond the walls, he could see the famous farmland.

Rows of crops stretched across the land, illuminated by faint mana-powered lamps.

’This really looks cool.’ Amon walked toward the main gate.

Two guards immediately stepped forward.

"Halt."

Amon stopped. "I’m here to meet Duke Ragnar."

The guards exchanged a glance before one of them reached for the communication device attached to the wall.

Before either of them could ask another question, a voice came through the speaker.

"Let him in."

The guards immediately stepped aside.

Amon walked through the gate.

He followed the stone path through the estate while occasionally glancing around at the enormous garden.

After walking for a while, he finally spotted Ragnar sitting on a chair in the front yard.

Annette was sitting beside him.

The moment she saw Amon, her expression brightened.

She immediately stood up and walked toward him.

"Amon!" Before he could properly react, Annette wrapped her arms around him. "I missed you."

Amon smiled awkwardly. "I wasn’t gone that long."

"It felt long."

Behind her, Ragnar stared at Amon with an expression that made it very clear he wasn’t particularly happy about the hug.

Amon noticed the glare.

He immediately looked away. ’I’m going to pretend I didn’t see that.’

Annette finally released him.

Amon walked over and sat down with them.

Ragnar leaned back in his chair. "You said you found something important."

Amon nodded. "Yeah."

Before he could continue, Annette suddenly spoke. "You shouldn’t accept the Royal Family’s sponsorship."

Amon blinked as he looked at her. "Did Felicia tell you?"

Annette nodded. "She did."

Her expression became serious. "That offer is a trap. You may not understand everything behind it yet, but taking their money will put you in a position where they can control your future."

Amon nodded. "I wasn’t planning to accept it."

Annette looked surprised. "You weren’t?"

Amon shook his head. "I don’t need their money."

He didn’t explain further.

There was no reason to tell them about all the resources he already possessed, especially when the box containing Moonwell Liquid was sitting inside his spatial bracelet.

Money wasn’t his biggest problem anymore.

Amon looked toward Ragnar. "The vampires have already infiltrated the kingdom."

Ragnar didn’t look surprised as he simply nodded. "We know."

Amon’s eyebrows rose. "You know?"

"All three Dukes are aware of it." Ragnar’s eyes narrowed. "What I want to know is how you discovered it."

"The vampires aren’t working alone." Amon took a slow breath. "The elves are working with them."

For the first time, Ragnar paused like a statue.

He stared at Amon as though he had just said something completely ridiculous.

Then he let out a hearty laugh.

"There is no way." Ragnar shook his head. "Those two races hate each other."

"I know."

Amon reached into his spatial bracelet.

He took out one of the small glass bottles containing the white liquid and placed it on the table.

Ragnar’s laughter immediately stopped. "What is that?"

Amon pushed the bottle toward him. "Open it."

Ragnar hesitated for a moment before picking it up.

He removed the cap. The instant he smelled the contents, his expression turned comical.

His eyes widened.

He stared at the white liquid inside the bottle as though he had seen something impossible.

"This is..."

Amon looked at him. "Moonwell Liquid."

Annette’s expression also turned that of a surprise.

Ragnar slowly placed the bottle on the table. "Where did you get this?"

Amon didn’t answer as he reached toward his spatial bracelet again.

He retrieved the two vampire heads he had collected from the sewer and placed them on the table.

Annette immediately stood up. "What the--"

Ragnar’s expression became extremely serious as he stared at the severed heads.

Amon leaned back slightly. "I found the Moonwell Liquid in the hands of these guys."

The atmosphere in the garden became completely silent.

Ragnar looked from the vampires to the bottle with an increasingly direction expression.
