Just after he said this, they heard someone say, "Sister Huan, let’s join this mission. My instinct is telling me that the Phantom Team will be the one leading this mission. If we perform well, they might let us join them."

After a while, she finally said, "You can join us, but you have to give us 20% of your reward as the fee."
Hearing this, Cheng Rui frowned and hesitated. He pulled his brother away and discussed the matter with him in a hushed voice.
They didn’t know what they were talking about, but they seemed to be arguing. Seeing this, the suspicion in Jian Huan’s heart lessened.
15 minutes later, they walked back. Cheng Yue’s face was dark, while Cheng Rui was beaming. "Sister, we agree to your request."
"Good. Let’s go register your names first," Lin Fei said.
"Brother, can we wait for a while? My friend should be here soon," Cheng Rui said.
Checking her watch, Jian Huan nodded. "We’ll wait another 30 minutes."
"Thank you!"
At the same time, Shang Yuanling was staring at Xun Che in disbelief. She thought that she had heard him wrong and asked, "Commander, what did you say just now?"
Without even slowing down his eating speed, Xun Che replied, "In the next three months, I will be super busy, and as my personal assistant, you must be on standby 24/7. So, you can’t take on any missions during this period."
"But I already promised my teammates to take on a mission with them today," she said with a frown.
Seeing that she had stopped eating, Xun Che added a piece of braised meatball to her bowl. "I will explain things to them. Now, eat your meal first."
Shang Yuanling frowned deeper, but when she met Xun Che’s deep eyes, she swallowed her objection and ate her food in silence.
The two of them finished the meal in less than 30 minutes. After they were done, she cleaned up the table and packed up the lunchboxes and utensils.
When she was ready to leave, she saw Xun Che wearing his long winter coat as he walked over. He took her scarf from the couch and helped her put it on. Afterward, he took the lunchboxes from her hands and said, "Let’s go."

Shang Yuanling shook her head and replied, "My friends are the twin brothers. I don’t know the rest of them."
Nodding at her words, Xun Che walked toward them at a leisurely pace. When they stood in front of the group, Lin Fei stared at them with his eyes wide open.
"Sister Yuanling, you are here," Cheng Yue nodded at her. After a moment of pause, he added, "Commander."
