Zombie Apocalypse: Creation
Chapter 884: A Temporary Stay
As Xiaoyun exited his car, Nami was already standing at the garage doorway, waiting for him with Zuling in her arms.
"Welcome back!"
"Where’s Leyan?"
"She’s out shopping... Why do you have to ask where Mom is first?" Nami questioned, as her face showed a hint of irritation.
"My bad. I should have asked how my dear Princess Nami was doing at home. Are you having a fine day, ma’am?"
Xiaoyun whispered as he leaned down, getting close enough to almost kiss her ear as Nami’s face blushed.
"Gross. Stop that."
"As you wish."
As Houqin exited the car from the passenger side, the three of them quickly exited the garage and entered the living room.
"Only you at home?"
"Everyone is out at work."
"At work? On a Sunday?" Xiaoyun questioned back, his face looking a little surprised by Nami’s answer.
"Yeah. They all got stuff to work on over the weekend... You done with your little trip in Zhuhai?"
"Mhm. You didn’t watch the TV?"
"Why would I watch TV in the morning? Do I look like that big of a couch potato to you?"
"Says the one sitting back down on the couch."
"Hmph!"
As Nami ignored Xiaoyun’s comment, both Xiaoyun and Houqin sat down before a loud voice drew their attention to the kitchen.
"Dad!"
"Hey Yongyi!"
Just as Xiaoyun lifted his son into his arms, two other babies emerged from the kitchen, running at full speed as soon as they saw his face.
"Da-da!"
"Hey, Lianrong! Hey, Qiaolan."
With both babies lifted up into his arms as well, Xiaoyun gave all three of them a warm hug before a petite figure emerged from the kitchen light.
"Xiaoyun!"
"Miss me—"
Xiaoyun couldn’t even finish talking as Lily ran right into his arms, giving him a warm hug as she refused to let him go.
"I miss you so much!"
"I can see that—ahem, ahem."
After hearing the cough, Lily finally loosened her arms, letting him go as she shyly looked down at the floor, her face blushing red.
"So only the two of you are at home?"
"Yeah..."
"Must be tough. Wait, where are the other babies?" Xiaoyun questioned as he realized the living room cribs were empty.
"They’re still asleep," Nami instantly answered.
"Sister Houqin, are you feeling better?" Lily quietly asked after noticing Houqin sitting on the side in silence the whole time.
"She’s feeling better than ever," Xiaoyun answered for her.
"Did the two of you have sex outside?"
Nami asked curiously as she put Zuling back down inside the crib, moving closer to Houqin as if she was trying to sniff something out.
"W-We didn’t do anything," Houqin answered as her face blushed red, her eyes constantly looking away from Nami’s stare.
"Come on. Don’t be shy."
"Does it look like I’ll be fooling around while on a combat mission? Stop harassing Houqin with your gossip."
"Boo..."
As Xiaoyun forcefully separated the two, he was soon overwhelmed by something on the side as his shirt kept being pulled.
"Dad! Let’s play!"
"Yeah, Dad, let’s play!"
"Play play play!"
"Okay, okay."
---
"Honey? Honey! Wake up."
"Hm?"
As Xiaoyun opened his eyes, a pair of melons was right in his face before he realized who it was.
"You back from your trip?"
"Yeah... What time is it?"
"One o’clock. Did you take a nap on the sofa?" Leyan questioned as she slowly sat down beside him.
"Yeah. Got a little sleepy after playing with the kids... Wait, where are they right now?"
"Taking an afternoon nap in their rooms like you."
"Makes sense."
Xiaoyun let out a loud yawn as he slowly sat back up, stretching out his arms before leaning his back against the sofa.
"How long are you staying home?"
"I’ll need to leave by Wednesday. Zhangfei already called me yesterday to say that he’s ready to pick me up any time."
"They’re already here?"
"Mhm. Just a three-day break at my nice, comfy home."
As Xiaoyun stretched his arms around her shoulders, she didn’t push them away. Instead, Leyan moved his hand down to her waist.
"I’m going to miss you, honey."
"Don’t make it sound like I’m leaving already."
Leyan didn’t answer back, choosing to sit in silence as Xiaoyun cuddled up against her voluptuous, warm body.
"Mom! Is lunch ready yet? I need to go to class later!"
Voices from above quickly shattered the romantic moment as Leyan got up from the sofa before rushing over to the kitchen.
"Almost! Just five more minutes."
After Leyan yelled back, a figure emerged from upstairs. It was none other than Nami in a casual T-shirt and jeans.
"Xiaoyun, are you awake from your nap?"
"Yeah. You need me to drive you to school?"
"I can just take the bus... Actually, wait, Xiaoyun, can I ask you something?"
"Sure, what is it?"
As Nami walked closer and closer, she sat down all the way onto his lap before looking up straight into his eyes.
"Can I borrow some money from the house?"
"How much?"
Instead of answering Xiaoyun’s question, she started moving her hand around his back as she sat down on top of his lap.
"Don’t try to act all cute. Just say the number."
"One billion—"
"What in the world do you need one billion for? Do I look like I’m made out of gold? Not in a million years is that ever happening."
Xiaoyun immediately moved her back over to the side, not taking her bait in the slightest as the massive number alarmed him.
"I wasn’t finished yet. I need one billion and two hundred million... I know we’ve got the money in our joint bank account."
"Why do you need that much money?"
Once again, Nami didn’t give her answer. Instead, she knelt on the floor, right in front of his legs.
"I’ll give you a blowjob if you say yes."
"Do I look like I’ve lost my mind?"
"Maybe."
As Nami tried to reach towards his pants, he instantly pushed her hands away before forcefully carrying her back up to the sofa.
"Just tell me, what do you need the one billion for?"
"Are you really willing to consider it?"
"If it is a good idea, I don’t see why not... But it better be an idea so good that I’m willing to agree to it."
After a short standoff, Nam shyly looks down at the floor before muttering the reasoning behind it to him.
"I want to start my own business..."
"What kind of business needs one billion dollars?"
"It’s tech."
"What tech?"
"Never mind. You’re right, it’s a bad idea. Just pretend I never asked you—"
"Come on, just tell me already. Let me decide before you come up with your own conclusion, seriously."
With an awkward silence between the two, Nami eventually folded.
"I need the money to buy tech equipment to start my tech business. I would tell you the equipment, but you wouldn’t understand it anyway."
"How would you know?"
"You understand circuit boards? Servers? Running an app? Now you see why I don’t want to tell you?"
Xiaoyun started scratching his head as he couldn’t really wrap his head around the things that Nami had just said out loud.
"How can those things be this expensive? Aren’t those things like pointless by today’s standards?"
"Not if you need to buy the whole building to get everything inside it," Nami answered as a hint of irritation started to show on her face.
"Building? What building?"
"It’s over in Shenzhen. You probably don’t know—"
"The Binhai Mansion?"
"How do you know that?"
"Because what other tech company can be this expensive?"
"I guess that does make it more obvious... So are you going to let me borrow the money or not?"
"Depends on how wholeheartedly you’re into this project of yours. It is a billion-dollar price tag, after all."
As Xiaoyun started weighing the decision inside his head, Nami had once again reached her hands down towards his crotch.
"I’m willing to do anything. Y-You can use my body h-however you want..." Nami shyly murmured as she started unzipping his pants.
"Wait, stop. You’re misunderstanding what I’m saying. I’m asking you how much of a plan you have made for your project?
Don’t tell me you’re planning to buy the building and that’s it. No project proposal? Any project team members? IT technicians?
Who do you have to help you start this business of yours? Have you asked anyone else in the family about this?"
"I... I haven’t told this to anyone yet."
Nami stopped as her face blushed red, looking down at the floor as she, for once, looked like a naive little girl again.
"How about this. You make a detailed plan first, and I’ll consider it with the rest of the family before Wednesday."
"Why Wednesday?" Nami immediately questioned.
"Because I have to leave before then... Unless you don’t want me helping you convince the others on how to spend their joint bank account."
"Thank you."
"No problem."
As Xiaoyun’s hand uncontrollably reached out to pat her on the head, a voice from behind immediately snapped them back to reality.
"Ahem, are you two really trying to have a snack in the living room?" Leyan’s voice appeared as she emerged from the kitchen.
"W-What? A-Absolutely not——I’m going to school now!"
Nami immediately bolted out of the house, not giving anybody a chance to talk as the front door slammed shut.
"We weren’t doing anything," Xiaoyun argued back with a serious face as he noticed the smirk on Leyan’s face.
"Mhm... Your pants are unzipped, by the way."
