Chapter 1420: The Holy Radiance Cape

Zhang Fei clenched his fists tightly, stared at Hu Tianlang’s Wrath Soul, and asked. "Are your Greed and Envy Souls really in the Ancient Realm?"

"Yes." Hu Tianlang’s Wrath Soul waved his hand, creating a qi screen that displayed the domain. "The Ancient Desolation Domain was once part of the Ancient Realm."

Zhang Fei seriously stared at the qi screen. "That domain has been destroyed like the Endless Night Domain."

The Ancient Desolation Domain was once very prosperous, teeming with numerous living beings from various races. It was a vast ruin belonging to an ancient clan, but a catastrophe that occurred countless years ago destroyed the entire area, leaving behind ruins of its former glory.

The land of the Ancient Desolation Domain was dry and damaged, and the sky was dim and lacking in light, which made it uninhabitable. Even so, many cultivation resources still exist there, waiting to be explored.

In the Paradise Realm, there were no records of the Ancient Desolation Domain, and all the cultivators only knew that it was much older than all other domains.

"You can go to the Ancient Realm through that domain, but I don’t recommend you go there now. Currently, only beasts and demons live in that domain, and they are far stronger than all living beings in the Paradise Realm, including Long Wuzhao and the four perils. Their numbers may not be large, but each of them is capable of killing you like a cockroach."

"Huh?" Zhang Fei looked at Hu Tianlang’s Wrath Soul in shock because Long Wuzhao was the strongest cultivator in the Paradise Realm, but he said that all the beasts and demons living in the Ancient Desolation Domain were stronger than him. "Are those beasts really that powerful?"

"Do you doubt my words?" Zhang Fei smiled bitterly when he heard that, but Hu Tianlang’s Wrath Soul waved his hand, changing the image that appeared on the qi screen and showing the beasts in the Ancient Desolation Domain. Zhang Fei didn’t say anything and nodded to Feng Yao, who enveloped him with her aura and took him away towards the location of the Holy Radiance Cape.

The Holy Radiance Cape was an ultimate sacred artifact of the Winged Race, and it was made of soft golden fabric. It released a sacred glow that purifies demonic or corrupted qi.

"Bring Xu Ling’er here because she is the only one who can take the Holy Radiance Cape." Zhang Fei nodded to Feng Yao and opened a portal to his training space.

Sometime later, Xu Ling’er walked out from inside and spoke directly to Zhang Fei. "Big brother, I sensed vibrations from one of my Holy Radiance equipment yesterday, but it wasn’t this one, and it was something else."

"Hmm?" Zhang Fei and Feng Yao looked at Xu Ling’er in surprise before looking at each other. "Do you have the same thoughts as me?"

"Yes." Feng Yao nodded at him. "If my guess is correct, the equipment that Ling’er felt should be in Tian Qiye’s hands. The two grand elders of that race are on your side now, and you can use them to investigate that woman. However, I don’t know whether she will show it to them or not, but you can ask them to investigate her first."

"Yeah." Zhang Fei turned to Xu Ling’er. "You should move quickly and get the equipment right now, and I’ll send you back to our residence once you get it."

Xu Ling’er nodded and transformed into her old form, covered in the Holy Radiance Armor and the Holy Radiance Armor Crown, making her look like an imperfect war goddess. She shot her qi into the barrier covering the Holy Radiance Cape, making it glow several times before opening itself.

The Holy Radiance Cape shot out and flew towards Xu Ling’er, blending perfectly with the Holy Radiance Armor, causing all three pieces of equipment to glow bright gold.

Some new memories resurfaced in Xu Ling’er’s mind, causing her expression to change slightly. She quickly returned to her original form and kissed Zhang Fei directly. "Thank you, Big Brother. This way, I just need to find my shield and boots, and my equipment will be intact again."

"Haha." Zhang Fei laughed softly. "I’ll order those two grand elders to investigate Tian Qiye, and I’ll think of a way to snatch your equipment from her if they manage to find it."

Xu Ling’er smiled sweetly and nodded to Zhang Fei, and she entered the training space before returning to the Moonlit Passion Sect.

Zhang Fei closed the portal. "My second clone is almost at that dead lake."

"Yeah." Feng Yao looked in that direction. "The Spirit Willow Tree will revive because of you, and its return will bring significant changes to this Paradise Realm."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Secret." Feng Yao quickly transformed into a crimson flame and re-entered Zhang Fei’s body.

"If only my strength was higher than hers, I would spank her ass hard." Zhang Fei heard Feng Yao laugh in his mind, making him sigh helplessly. After that, he and one of his clones left the Jiangshen Domain, and he went to another domain to check something.

"Cough... Cough..." Tian Qiye coughed heavily.

Tian Liefeng sighed in relief that the Ghost Emperor hadn’t attacked him like in the past, and he hurriedly left Tian Qiye’s room and returned to his own to calm down, especially since the previous incident had worried him.

Tian Qiye sat cross-legged on her bed, took out a healing pill, and swallowed it straight away. She still couldn’t believe that the Ghost Emperor could break her technique so easily, which had left her injured. Although the injury wasn’t serious, she was disappointed with the final result, and she felt humiliated by it.

"How is it possible that he was able to destroy my technique so easily? Is it possible that he was able to do it because of his increased strength thanks to the ghosts in that domain?" Tian Qiye clenched her fist tightly. "I’ve worked hard for so long to reach this stage, but that damn ghost was able to defeat me so easily. Even if I were to fight him with all my strength, I’m not confident I could defeat him, especially since he has the help of the ghosts in that domain. To defeat him, I have to think of something to get rid of the ghosts."

Tian Qiye raised an eyebrow as she checked out the room with her senses. "Come in."

Soon, Tian Hanyun walked into the room, and he reported to Tian Qiye everything he saw in the Moonlit Passion Sect.

Tian Qiye was truly surprised to hear that, but she was even more surprised to hear the presence of the four members of the winged race from the Three Mortal Realms in the Moonlit Passion Sect. "Did you feel anything special from those four women?"

"I don’t feel anything special from those four women, and their cultivation is too low to be a threat to us, Leader." Tian Qiye pondered for a moment, but Tian Hanyun immediately continued. "Although I can’t be certain, I feel there’s something different about Zhang Fei. Tian Yaoqin and I have been hiding our identities, but Qing Qiu’er was able to tell that we were the grand elders of our race, and I suspect he told her about our identities. Additionally, that sect has the void barrier, but we didn’t manage to find out the identity of the person who helped them create it."

Tian Qiye nodded slightly. "Do you think that sect will pose a threat to us?"

"I don’t know." Tian Hanyun answered with a shake of his head. "We should not do anything to that sect, especially because of the presence of people from those clans in there."
