You're My Only Star

Lu Xun had a wide smile on her face as he led Song Xing Xing towards the car park. Seeing that the girl continued to lower her head shyly as she followed him around, his heart swelled with happiness. He knew that at this time, Song Xing Xing was still thinking about the kiss they shared earlier.

He wanted to tease the girl but was afraid that she would run away.

His hands tightened against her as they reached the car park. Just as they were going to reach his vehicle, Lu Xun saw that someone was standing next to his Maserati. His steps halted and his eyes narrowed dangerously upon noticing the familiar figure in front of him.

This was the person that he never wanted to see again in his life. Lu Xun really could not understand why did she keep appearing in front of him. How did she come to find him?

Of course, Lu Xun would not expect that Shi An Na had seen Celine's post earlier and decided to try her luck to find him. She did not expect that she would be able to find his vehicle parked nearby the riverside. Shi An Na decided to wait for him.

Song Xing Xing noticed his abrupt stop and looked up. Seeing the angry look on his face made her puzzled. Song Xing Xing followed his gaze and saw that Lu Xun was looking towards the woman beside the car.

A look of surprise appeared on her face. Looking at her, Song Xing Xing could guess that the woman has been waiting for a long time.

Was she looking for Lu Xun?

Song Xing Xing shifted her gaze between Lu Xun and the woman. The surroundings were dark, but she thought that the woman looked somewhat familiar. A look of surprise appeared on his face when Song Xing Xing finally recognized the girl. 

It was a few days before New Year. She had followed Han Yue Xiu to shop with her best friend and somehow had run into Lu Xun. They were having a meal when this woman had suddenly shown up. She noticed that Lu Xun has been hostile towards this woman. He had even used her and her sister-in-law to escape this woman.

A bad feeling arose in her heart. Song Xing Xing could tell that Lu Xun's relationship with this woman was a little complicated. Her instinct was to tell her that this woman was Lu Xun's legendary ex-girlfriend. 

As the thought came to her mind, Song Xing Xing began to pay attention to the woman.

"Lu Xun!" She An Na rushed forward. Her expression shifted upon noticing Lu Xun's subtle act. 

Initially, Shi An Na had not noticed the woman beside Lu Xun. However, the moment she tried to approach him, Lu Xun had moved to protect her.

It was as if he was afraid that she was going to harm the woman.

In his heart did he think that she would be such a ruthless person?

Shi An Na glanced at the woman beside Lu Xun and saw how close they are to each other. A sharp pain pierced through her heart. 

After they broke up, Shi An Na had heard that Lu Xun had always stayed single. Years had passed and he continued to stay single. Everyone was saying that he could not forget her. Shi An Na had even thought that Lu Xun was waiting for her.

Who would have thought that the moment she returned, Lu Xun would be with someone else? Even Zhang Yu Han told her to leave Lu Xun alone as he is now in a relationship.

Lu Xun wanted to ignore Shi An Na and leave with Song Xing Xing. However, Shi An Na was standing in front of his Maserati, blocking his path. 

"What are you doing here?" Lu Xun asked. 

His grip on Song Xing Xing's hand tightened. He was having a good walk with his girlfriend and the atmosphere between them was so good when this person had suddenly appeared. The thing he was worried about the most is that Shi An Na was going to make his girlfriend misunderstood their relationship. 

Shi An Na swallowed. "Lu Xun, I saw that you were visiting Celine's place and decided to look for you nearby. Look. I did not mean anything. I only wanted to return this to you." Shi An Na fumbled into her purse and took out a piece of paper.

With one glance, Lu Xun could tell what it was. A while ago, he had handed this cheque to Zhang Yu Han and asked him to give it to Shi An Na. He wanted to make a clean break with her. From then on, there should not be anything else between them.

"I gave it to you," Lu Xun said. "I don't care what you were going to do with that money. Originally, that money was yours. Spend it on yourself or donate it somewhere else. If you don't want to do that, just throw that piece of paper away. I want nothing to do with you."

Lu Xun turned around angrily. He moved past Shi An Na, wanting to let Song Xing Xing sit in the vehicle first. He merely let her hand go for a while to take out his car keys in the pocket. 

Seeing that Lu Xun wanted to leave, a dark glint appeared on Shi An Na's face. She had spent so much time trying to meet him. She could not let him leave now. 

Everything happened so quickly. Suddenly, Song Xing Xing was pushed to the side, causing her steps to stagger. Fortunately, she was quick enough. Her hand pressed at the vehicle as she stopped herself from falling. 

"Xing Xing!" Lu Xun looked at her anxiously. He turned to Shi An Na and shot her a dangerous look.

It was the first time that Shi An Na had seen the look on Lu Xun's face. Although he had been angry at her each time she showed up in front of him, Lu Xun had never shown this expression to her before.  Her face turned pale and she subconsciously took a few steps back to avoid him.

"Miss Shi, I'm warning you. If you show up in front of me one more time, I will ask for a restraining order." Lu Xun spoke in a grave tone. However, the moment he turned to Song Xing Xing, his expression turned kinder. "Xing Xing, are you alright?"

Song Xing Xing nodded, wanting to stand up. However, she realized that her ankle was in so much pain.

Lu Xun seemed to notice that something was wrong with her. His gaze immediately shifted to her legs and he immediately knew what was the problem. With one swift move, Lu Xun pulled the door open and carried the girl into the passenger's seat.. After he shot Shi An Na another warning look, he then went into the driver's seat and drove away.
