Your Beloved Sweetheart Is Online

Chapter 2215 - 2218: Looks Like I Should Start Dating Too

  • Next Chapter

It’s rare to see Zun Zun like a volcano that’s easily ignited. He lit a cigarette for himself without offering one to anyone else and sat idle smoking in the little tea pavilion.

"Who set my brother off?"

Zun Zun walked over, snatched the cigarette from Sheng Sheng’s fingers, took a couple of drags, found it uninteresting, and threw it on the ground, stamping it out harshly.

He ruffled his own disheveled hair in frustration; his cool hairstyle now looked wild and unruly, yet still carried a certain rugged charm.

"Annoyed."

"What’s bothering you?"

Zun Zun looked at him with a breezy expression and scoffed, "You’re the one having a good time now. I heard Maimai moved in with you? How is it, living in music and merriment every night?"

Sheng Sheng laughed, reserved yet genuinely happy, "Pretty much, life is good."

"Looks like I should start dating too," Zun Zun muttered to himself.

"Who caught your eye?" Sheng Sheng asked.

"I’m not into anyone. This Young Master has decided to find a bunch of girls and try them one by one until I find one that feels right," Zun Zun said with a half-serious, half-joking smile. "Help me find a girl who’s gentle like water, loves clothes, makeup, and jewelry. I can afford it."

Sheng Sheng knew for sure he was joking, so he didn’t continue the conversation.

"Are you going to help me or not?"

"Do you want me to find someone like Mom for you?" Sheng Sheng stood up, noticing that the sun was about to set and deciding it was more meaningful to spend time with their mom and make her happy than to mess around with Zun Zun.

Zun Zun walked behind him, "Sure, I like that type."

"How many should I find?"

"Get a bunch, and I’ll pick one from them."

"Then you might as well let Mom find someone for you, and you can go on a blind date," Sheng Sheng said.

Zun Zun cursed, "Do I really need to go on a blind date?"

"You’re over twenty and haven’t even been in a relationship. You probably won’t find anyone you like. A blind date is quicker, and at least you know what you’re getting into—it’s more convenient," Sheng Sheng said with a hint of sarcasm, and a scene formed in Zun Zun’s mind.

In some cafe, sitting across from a woman he didn’t know, exchanging family backgrounds, interests, properties, cars, and houses like reading off a household registry. The thought made him shake his head vigorously, "I’d rather find someone myself."

His gaze fell on the girl who came out from the inner house, the one who had previously made the weight-gain dietary plan for Maimai. She was quiet and reserved like a sensitive plant. Her family had a legacy in nutrition, and she was very good at winning over his mom’s affection, often coming over to help with her health.

Zun Zun paused and waved her over, calling out, "Qi Lan, come here."

Qi Lan looked over at the sound and trotted towards them, respectfully greeting, "Young Master Zun, Young Master Sheng," with great politeness.

"Here to keep my mom company again?" Zun Zun gave Sheng Sheng a look, but Sheng Sheng just crossed his arms, not understanding Zun Zun’s intention.

"Yes, Auntie Zhou has been having insomnia and dreams lately, so I brought some fruits to help her with her condition," Qi Lan said slowly, enunciating clearly, her voice particularly pleasant.

Zun Zun leaned closer to Sheng Sheng and asked in a low voice, "What do you think of her?"

"Her?" Sheng Sheng furrowed his brow slightly.

Not that there was anything wrong with Qi Lan. She was a well-behaved girl, but Sheng Sheng knew Zun Zun was likely just playing around. Involving Qi Lan would be a bit mean.

"Not good?" She seemed pretty nice, with her flowing hair, butterfly-shaped hairpin, and a simple yet very beautiful dress—she exuded femininity.

Zun Zun walked in a circle around her.
