One time he really got angry, stormed out the door, and didn’t see her for many days. He didn’t answer her calls either, thinking that Little Ai loved him so much that she couldn’t possibly leave him, and he wanted to teach her a lesson, let her reflect on herself.

But things didn’t go as he planned. Not only did she not reflect, but she became even more neurotic, acting like he owed her millions. Whenever they met, she seized his phone, calling his friends to inquire about his whereabouts, and even planted spies beside him to report his movements. Annoying!

Wubai now felt particularly irritated. How did he ever find this woman adorable?

She was clearly a super suspicious and extremely tough woman!

He wished so much that she could become the cute girl she used to be. He once dreamed about the future, even imagined that when they got old, he would find a small town with her, where it didn’t have to be lively, as long as there were mountains and water. The two of them would live quietly, watching the sunrise by the sea in the morning and cuddling to watch the sunset in the evening.

Wubai flicked the ash off his cigarette and extinguished it on the balcony. When he returned to the room, Qingqing was doing sit-ups on the bed.

Wubai went over and rubbed her hair vigorously, commanding, "Lie down properly, your complexion is so bad, what are you doing sit-ups for?"

"Brother Wubai, just let me do it. I’m strong enough, this little illness is nothing." Qingqing boasted, showing off the muscles on her arm, though there wasn’t much flesh on that thin arm.

"Wubai, let her do it. If she gets sick, I’ll just call Fourth Uncle to come and take her away," Gu ZhiZun said, carrying two plastic bags full of food, casually tossing the car keys onto the table as he walked over and pressed her feet. "Do it, I’ll count for you."

Qingqing slipped like an eel, hugging the blanket to lie back down, sneaking a peek at the expressions of Zun Zun and Wubai, blinking innocently, "I know you two won’t secretly tell my dad, right?"

Wubai playfully looked at Zun Zun, who crossed his arms. The two men exchanged glances and ignored her entirely.

"What tasty things did you buy?" Wubai asked.

Zun Zun turned and walked to the table by the window, took out a can of beer and handed it over, also cracking one open for himself. He drank it boldly with his head lifted, "By the way, your wife called me just now, asking where you were. She’ll probably come back soon to find you, so you better go wait by the door."

"What did you tell her?" Wubai’s face turned visibly dark.

"She looked so pitiful, I couldn’t resist being soft-hearted and just told her." Zun Zun sat casually on the table, leisurely shaking his left leg, his gaze landing on Qingqing as he teased Wubai, "I say, your Little Ai is really something. Every time she can’t find you, she calls me, and now I’m effectively your personal assistant, huh? Make sure to pay me my monthly salary."

"She’s driving me mad." Wubai said bluntly.

"Women are all troublesome. Maybe if you bring her to bed and sort her out a couple times, she’ll be more considerate?"

Zun Zun joked, though his smile slightly faded as he watched Qingqing get off the bed and walk over to him. He reached out to pinch Qingqing’s face, feeling a vague stirring in his heart, "It’d be best if a man could sort you out too, sort you until you cry for your parents, maybe then you’ll settle down. Come, tell brother what kind of type you like?"
