Adrian studied Lorenzo carefully.

His mana core rank was only E-.

Even if he possessed extraordinary combat experience, the difference between their physical abilities shouldn’t have been so significant.

Yet Lorenzo’s bloodlust had made Adrian hesitate for a fraction of a second.

That fraction of a second had been enough to make him realize something.

If Lorenzo had genuinely intended to kill Joseph, stopping him wouldn’t have been easy.

"You’re quite dangerous, aren’t you?" Adrian asked, keeping his sword between himself and Lorenzo.

Lorenzo glanced at him.

"That’s a strange thing to say to someone who hasn’t done anything to you."

"You pointed a gun at another student."

"After he insulted me in front of the entire academy."

"And that makes it acceptable?"

"No."

Lorenzo shrugged.

"But he provoked a sleeping lion who was already annoyed. He shouldn’t have done that."

Adrian’s mouth twitched.

He had met plenty of unreasonable people before, but this one seemed to take pride in being unreasonable.

Before he could respond, Elise stepped between them.

"That’s enough. Both of you."

Her voice wasn’t particularly loud, but it carried the authority of the student council president.

Adrian reluctantly lowered his sword.

Lorenzo, on the other hand, looked as though he had already lost interest in the entire situation.

Elise noticed his expression and felt another headache coming on.

He’s not even taking this seriously!

She had been instructed to keep an eye on Lorenzo Riina.

She hadn’t expected him to pull a gun on another student before the entrance ceremony had even finished.

"Junior Lorenzo," she said, forcing herself to remain calm. "Do you understand the severity of what you just did?"

"Of course."

"Then would you care to explain why you did it?"

"He insulted me."

Elise stared at him.

"And your response was to threaten his life?"

"Would you have preferred that I shoot him?"

The hall fell silent.

Elise’s smile disappeared.

Adrian’s grip tightened around his sword.

Several students looked at Lorenzo as though he had lost his mind.

Was this man genuinely incapable of understanding how normal people behaved?

Elise closed her eyes for a moment.

She desperately wanted to punch him.

Unfortunately, doing so would only make her situation more complicated.

When she opened her eyes again, her expression had returned to its usual composure.

"Lorenzo Riina, as the student council president, I’m officially warning you that threatening another student with a firearm is a serious violation of academy regulations."

"I see."

"If you repeat this behavior, you will face disciplinary action."

"Understood."

Elise paused.

That had been surprisingly easy.

"Good. Now, I expect you to apologize to Joseph once he regains consciousness."

Lorenzo looked at the unconscious boy.

Then he looked back at Elise.

"No."

Her expression twitched.

"Excuse me?"

"I said no."

"Junior Lorenzo!"

"He insulted me in front of hundreds of people. Why should I apologize to him?"

"Because you threatened to kill him!"

"And he accused me of being the kind of person who would die fighting monsters or get expelled from the academy."

Lorenzo tilted his head.

"Perhaps I should thank him for his concern?"

Elise took a deep breath.

She could feel her patience slipping away.

This bastard is doing it on purpose.

She was beginning to suspect that he actually enjoyed watching her struggle to maintain her composure.

"Regardless of what he said, you are expected to behave like a student of this academy."

"Then perhaps you should teach your students not to provoke people they can’t handle."

Lorenzo glanced at Joseph again.

"Besides, I didn’t kill him. You should be thanking me."

Elise nearly lost her temper.

Thanking him?

For not killing a fellow student?

Was he seriously expecting praise for that?

"Adrian, take Joseph to the infirmary."

Adrian nodded and sheathed his sword before bending down to lift Joseph.

"And you, Junior Lorenzo, are coming with me."

Lorenzo raised an eyebrow.

"Where?"

"My office."

"Why?"

"So we can discuss your behavior without an audience."

Lorenzo considered her request.

Then he glanced toward the stage and the surrounding hall.

The entrance ceremony had effectively ground to a halt, and hundreds of students were still watching him.

What a nuisance.

He had wanted to find Sofia, attend the ceremony, attend lectures, and return home.

But it seemed that nothing was going according to plan.

"Fine."

Elise blinked.

"Fine?"

"I’ll accompany you."

’Principal, you owe me a very large favor.’

With that said, Elise Valor turned around and walked towards the exit of hall, followed by Lorenzo.

Meanwhile, Lorenzo was looking at every student’s that he happened to passed by and his gaze settled with someone and he stopped on his tracks.

She had long white hair with bit of greyish tip around the tip of her.

Face perfectly symmetric, oynex eyes that seems to suck everything around her like black hole, plump lips, and a sharp nose.

Her overall proportions are flawless.

...And that woman was non other then Sofia.

She was the one he was looking for after the terrorist and yet when he found her he stopped on his tracks instead going near her like he usually do.

Why? Because Sofia hair colour changed from black to white.

That’s why Lorenzo couldn’t spot her earlier. He didn’t think she would change her colour of hair.

’Is she going through rebellious phase?’

She knows that Lorenzo think her as perfect human and by changing her colour, she was putting a dent in his perfect image of her.

But Lorenzo wasn’t mad.

Instead he found it cute.

"Junior Lorenzo, what are you doing? Follow me."

...And he did follow Elise but he didn’t leave his gaze away from Sofia eyes.

Hatred.

it was already there but it’s seems it grown quit bit since the last time he saw her at restaurant.

At last moment, when he was just about to exit the hall, Sofia raised her middle finger at his direction and mouthed an invisible words that only he could understand.

’Fuck. You.’

Lorenzo smiles as he exited the hall.
