Yandere Villainess CEO is obsessed with me
Chapter 72: The Dressing Room Crisis
Meanwhile, Julian Vance—the very person the Vance family considered an insufferable thorn in their side—was approached by Natasha right after he stepped out of his final exam room.
Clicking her high heels arrogantly against the hallway floor, Natasha glared down at him. "Julian Vance, remember—Heart Whisper Cafe, 7:00 PM sharp. See you there."
Leaving behind those sharp words, Natasha turned on her heel and strode away in her designer dress.
Sean walked up beside Julian and asked, "Julian, aren’t you heading back to Rose Manor yet?"
"I’ll head back a bit later," Julian replied.
"Alright then, I’ll take off first," Sean said, waving goodbye.
Once the majority of the students had cleared out of the classroom building, Julian pulled out his phone and dialed Victoria Sterling’s private number.
"Victoria," Julian called out softly when the call connected. "Are you ready? Do you want me to drive over and pick you up?"
On the other end of the line, inside a luxurious private dressing suite, Victoria was emanating an intensely chilling, suffocating aura—as if she were preparing to execute someone in cold blood.
However, the exact instant Julian’s gentle voice reached her ears, the terrifying, murderous atmosphere surrounding her completely dissolved into soft tenderness.
Standing a few feet away, Secretary Evelyn let out a massive, silent sigh of relief, wiping a bead of cold sweat from her forehead. President Sterling’s sudden shift in expression was insanely fast! As expected, the only person on earth who could tame President Sterling’s terrifying temper in a split second was Young Master Vance!
Victoria replied softly, her voice dripping with warmth, "There’s no need, my Julian. I still have a few small matters to take care of here. I’ll head over directly when I’m finished."
"Okay, then I’ll wait for you at the cafe," Julian said smoothly.
After hanging up the phone, Julian’s brows furrowed in mild confusion. For some reason, he felt that Victoria’s mood today was unusually strange...
——
Meanwhile, inside the master suite at Rose Manor.
Ten elite personal maids were currently kneeling on the polished floor, trembling in absolute terror.
Victoria stood before a massive, walk-in wardrobe lined with hundreds of top-tier haute couture gowns. She pursed her crimson lips, her dark eyes narrowing dangerously as she looked over the selected wardrobe options.
"Are these really all the finest clothes you could gather?" Victoria asked, her voice dropping into a cold, terrifying register.
Her Julian had explicitly informed her that the woman he was taking her to meet tonight was Natasha—his former campus crush.
The servants inside the master suite felt an overwhelming sense of despair.
These high-end dresses looked absolutely stunning on the young lady, but they had no idea why she was still completely dissatisfied with every single option. Normally, Miss Sterling was never this picky about her wardrobe choices!
The young lady had already changed through dozens of luxury outfits, yet her expression remained cold and displeased. The staff wondered in fear how much longer they would have to wait for her to finish changing...
Another large batch of designer dresses was brought into the room by the waiting maids. Victoria tried them on one by one in front of the full-length mirror.
"This is far too revealing. Absolutely not."
"This color is too dark and heavy. It won’t do."
Her Julian was four years younger than her. If the clothes she wore were too dark or conservative, it would make her seem too old and mature, making her look like a poor match for her Julian.
"This one is too bulky. It won’t do either."
One piece of haute couture after another was casually tossed aside into a discarded pile by Victoria.
Secretary Evelyn stood nearby, shaking her head in silent exhaustion. She genuinely wondered when President Sterling would finally manage to find an outfit she was satisfied with.
And so, another full half-hour slipped by.
The maids and stylists grew increasingly desperate and anxious. If she kept rejecting every option like this, there really wouldn’t be any clothes left in the entire manor’s collection to try!
"Secretary Evelyn, please think of a way to help Miss choose an outfit quickly!" a trembling maid whispered desperately, leaning toward Secretary Evelyn.
The chilling, oppressive aura radiating from the young lady was far too terrifying. If this intense ordeal continued any longer, she felt like she was going to suffer a nervous breakdown right on the spot.
"What on earth can I do?" Secretary Evelyn shook her head helplessly, whispering back. "How could I possibly dictate President Sterling’s personal preferences?"
She had been standing there talking non-stop for the past hour, endlessly praising President Sterling’s striking beauty in every dress, but Victoria hadn’t listened to a single word she said.
To be completely honest, with President Sterling’s world-class looks and flawless, tall figure, even if she wore tattered rags, she would still look like a top fashion icon on a runway. She didn’t need to stress over picking out clothes at all!
Secretary Evelyn let out a quiet sigh and added, "You had better not count on me. I can’t keep President Sterling in check."
She was just an ordinary corporate executive exploited by her boss. She wouldn’t dare interfere with the boss’s personal decisions—especially a cold, intimidating boss like President Sterling.
"Secretary Evelyn... speaking of someone who can actually keep Miss in check," the maid suddenly murmured thoughtfully, her eyes blinking, "it seems there really is someone in this house who can... and that person is..."
At this exact point, both the maid and Secretary Evelyn’s eyes lit up simultaneously!
"Young Master Vance!"
Secretary Evelyn quietly clapped her hands together in realization. How on earth could she have forgotten about Young Master Vance?!
Miss Sterling listened to Young Master Vance more than anyone else on earth. No matter how many thousands of sweet compliments they uttered about President Sterling’s outfits, all of them combined couldn’t compare to a single word of praise from Young Master Vance!
Victoria emerged from the fitting area wearing a, light blue silk cheongsam.
This exquisite outfit was extraordinarily eye-catching, perfectly accentuating her long legs, slender waist, and regal posture.
While the servants of Rose Manor were already somewhat immune to Victoria’s breathtaking beauty, the high-end makeup artists and costume designers waiting on the sidelines were completely filled with utter amazement the moment she stepped out.
One of the stylists leaned in and asked a nearby maid in a low whisper, "Does Ms. Sterling have a new boyfriend?"
A powerful woman who spent this much meticulous effort picking out an outfit was undeniably going on a romantic date. They had provided makeup and styling services for President Sterling on numerous official business occasions in the past, and President Sterling had never been even remotely this picky before. Something major was definitely up!
The maid nodded proudly. "She certainly does."
"Is her boyfriend very handsome and capable?" they asked with intense curiosity.
The maid answered with absolute conviction, "Without a doubt! He is hands down the most handsome man in the entire world!"
Those so-called "handsome young male stars" in the entertainment industry couldn’t even begin to compare to a single hair on Young Master Vance’s head.
Is he really that remarkably handsome?! The makeup artists and stylists looked at each other with doubtful, puzzled expressions.

Standing off to the side, Secretary Evelyn swiftly snapped two high-resolution photos of Victoria in the light blue cheongsam with her smartphone. Then, opening her private chat with Julian , she hit send.
> [Misery Working Class]: Young Master Vance, take a quick look at President Sterling! Doesn’t she look absolutely stunning in this outfit?
Julian, who was sitting in his car near the cafe, checked his phone and replied instantly:
> [Julian Vance]: Beautiful, absolutely gorgeous! My girlfriend looks amazing in literally everything she wears!
Meanwhile, Victoria stood in front of the grand mirror, carefully examining her reflection from every angle, her brows furrowed tightly in deep dissatisfaction.
This outfit won’t do either, she thought. The floral embroidery pattern on the silk isn’t nice enough.
Just as she turned around, intending to head back into the fitting room to change yet again, Secretary Evelyn stepped forward quickly.
"President Sterling," Secretary Evelyn reported with a bright smile, "Young Master Vance just saw this exact outfit and thinks you look absolutely breathtaking in it."
Victoria’s steps paused instantly.
Secretary Evelyn immediately held out her phone, showing the WeChat screen directly to Victoria.
Looking at Julian’s exact words—"My girlfriend looks amazing in literally everything she wears!"—the suffocating, icy chill emanating from Victoria completely dissolved into a warm, radiant glow.
"Alright," Victoria said, a soft, blooming smile gracing her crimson lips. "This is the one."
Secretary Evelyn let out a massive, silent sigh of relief. It’s finally over!
Young Master Vance was truly their ultimate savior. Evelyn mentally resolved that from now on, whenever President Sterling was being difficult or terrifying, she would immediately invoke Young Master Vance’s name as their ultimate shield!
With the outfit finally chosen, the waiting makeup artists and hair stylists immediately stepped forward, carefully styling Victoria’s hair and applying subtle, flawless makeup to complement her regal look.
