“…” I stared at her in silence, chewing on my lips.

Four people, huh…That I know of, at least.

“Wait.” I said.

“What?”

“I just remembered, Ashley hasn’t said anything?”

“Oh. Maybe she hasn’t used it yet? Perhaps she was waiting and then saw the discourse online?” Luna guessed.

“Hm…That makes sense,” I nodded, “Ashley’s pretty smart after all.”

If there was one person who could escape the bouncy ball trap, it would be Ashley. Now that I think about it, I wonder if Adam and panda gramps got one?

“Gah!” I suddenly shouted in an outburst, causing Luna to flinch.

“What? Are you okay?” She asked, concerned.

“I’m just so curious! I want to know all the famous people who fell victim—Ahem! I mean, played with the bouncy ball! Like, did the association president person, whatever his name was, get one? Guild leaders? High-ranking officials? I wanna know how many people got screwed!”

“…So you’re just laying your true feelings bare now.”

“Aren’t you curious!?” I asked, “Could you imagine if…Let’s say Anonymous, the rank one, used the potion on a bouncy ball and panicked as his room became a mess?!”

“Well, first, I don’t think Anonymous would buy one.” Luna said, “He’s probably a training maniac or something who only thinks about clearing the tower or gates. Second, even if he did get his hands on one, there’s no way he’d use it on a bouncy ball. He probably thinks of it on the level as a children’s prank.”

“Bah!” I spat out, “You fun-killer! Unwhismical-er!”

“Pfft,” Luna chuckled, “What is a ‘unwhismicaler’?”

“Someone who makes things unwhimiscal. I just invented it.”

“I see.” She smiled, “But, realistically, let’s say Anonymous or any high rankers did get use the potion on the ball. They’d have stopped it before it could cause such a mess. This troll really only works on unexperienced awakeners or unawakened.”

Mm…Yeah, that’s probably true. I mean, I did see some guy just smoosh the ball between his hands like he was catching a fly earlier. But! That doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be a funny sight!

Like, imagine one of those old men sitting in his office, just watching as the bouncy ball goes on its rampage! That’d be hilarious!

“Would you have been able to stop it?” I asked.

“Maybe?” Luna shrugged, “Should we try it?”

“Yes!” I nodded without a second thought.

I stood up and started heading to the closet before I paused and froze in place.

“Theoretically, how would you have stopped it though?” I asked.

I wasn’t going to brew any potions today. After all, it’s Christmas! Luna and I were hanging out together all day!

Hm…That does bring up a good question.

I’m not going to just stop selling them. Now that they’ve been on the market, I need to keep supplying. But, how many do I want to sell per week? Per month? Per year? There’s no way I’ll sell 1,400 per week. I want to make more diverse and fun potions. But, I also don’t currently have another potion to sell other than the mana potions.

[Raccoon’s Bouncy Potion + New Potion!?]

Raccoon, the Little Bomber, has just released her first original potion, the [Bouncy Bouncy Potion]! Now, this potion has been hyped for months, being first teased in this post by Raccoon herself. (link)

She went on to do a Q&A shortly after, I’ve compiled some questions here.

Q1: What inspired you to created this potion?

A1: I wanted to make things go bouncy bouncy~

Q2: What does it taste like?

A2: Sweet.

Q3: What is the cost per potion?

A3: 7-9 thousand per.

Q4: How long does it take to make?

A5: 2 hours for 1; 3 hours for a batch.

Now, some things have very likely changed since then. For example, originally, she said she’d be selling 20 per day, but as of today, we have confirmation that she will be selling 1,000 per week, starting sometime after new years. (link)

As of the time I’m writing this post, the bouncy potions have been released for two hours. I’ve collected and compiled the information you might want to know before you buy.

* Usage on Bouncy Ball: When used on a bouncy ball, it will enhance the ‘bounciness’ aspect of it, making it ultra bouncy. It’s important to note: If used in an enclosed room, it will be extremely difficult to stop for unawakened and unexperienced awakeners until the potion has reached it limit.

* How long does it last? 5:00 minutes, depending on how much of the potion is used.

* Does it really make EVERYTHING bouncy? No, there are limitations, such as living organisms.

* Is it safe to drink? There has been no reported illnesses from drinking yet. The creator, Raccoon, says that it’s not meant for consumption, but doesn’t strictly prohibit it.

* Where and When to Use? You can use them anywhere at anytime. At home they can be a fun toy to play with—both adults and children love it—and for utility, people are still discovering their use cases, however, we know that spells and arrows can bounce off of the surfaces.

Bouncy potions are known to come in three bottles. (picture of bottle 1), (picture of bottle 2), (picture of bottle 3).

From left to right, there’s the R(accoon) bottle, M(ouse) bottle, and R&M bottle. From what we can tell, the R&M bottle seems to be the rarest, with very few people having one. The other two bottles are the most common.

Now, there is a fourth bottle that I didn’t mention: (picture of bottle 4), but, these aren’t custom ones. They’re the standard glass bottles that are mass produced. I don’t expect these to be used again unless she runs out of the custom ones.

Let’s talk about the negatives.

First and foremost, the most obvious is the price. At 20,000 points per potion, or $200, you only get five minutes of use.

When applied to a bouncy ball, the bounciness might be a little ‘too’ much. It’s too potent, and though it won’t cause harm like a bruise or something, it can be used maliciously way too easily.

Other than that, there might be a few minor things we haven’t discovered yet.

But, overall, the reception to the potions have been overwhelmingly positive. With all 5,102 potions selling within a minute of listing.

It is going to be a variation of an already popular potion. Now, what does this mean?

Personally, I don’t believe that the ‘variation’ is just going to be a change in taste or something simple. My theory is that she’ll be creating a spin-off potion, for example: We all know and love the [Warmth Potion], it keeps us nice and cozy on cold nights. But, what if she takes that and applies the same principle used in the bouncy potion? Instead of having to drink it, you’re able to pour it on anything and whatever you pour it on will stay warm for a prolonged period of time?

But, those are just my thoughts. What’re your opinions on the bouncy potion and predictions on the new potion she’s going to create?
