World-saving Plan: The Only Savior
Chapter 2007 - 79: Demon Princess
The black claw pierced through the mist, reaching into this world from the chaotic void.
The Demon Princess gathered a large amount of spiritual power to resist, but unfortunately, she was within the array, and most of her strength was being drained. Moreover, she couldn’t leave easily and found herself unable to repel the intrusion instantly.
"Roar roar roar!!"
The black shadow seemed to be enduring intense pain; the skin on the hand that reached in was constantly peeling and regenerating, revealing the flesh and blood underneath.
"Demon Princess! You can’t stop me anymore!"
Finally, the figure tore a larger gap in the gray mist and forced its head inside.
Zhang Xiaoman saw a face reduced to ghastly white bones; its flesh had fallen off as it squeezed in, and the array was exerting strong pressure on it—the siege seemed to still pose some challenge.
However, there were not just monsters lurking; perhaps due to the small gap in the array, other eerie entities were also making progress, steadily breaching into deeper realms.
"You all leave first; the Soul-locking Array can’t hold any longer. Hurry up and leave; otherwise, I won’t be able to protect you."
Zhang Xiaoman and Ni Yang suddenly heard the voice of the Demon Princess. Meanwhile, the shields surrounding them shattered, indicating that the Demon Princess had no spare strength left to safeguard them and must focus all her spiritual power on stabilizing the formation.
Zhang Xiaoman didn’t hesitate, immediately deciding to use Unlimited Teleportation to flee.
However, Ni Yang had no intention of leaving. It gritted its teeth, sensing the terrifying presence of those eerie entities, and glanced at the solitary battle of the Demon Princess, seemingly contemplating a course of action.
"Ni Yang! You’re crazy! Hurry and leave with me! You’re not a match for those beings!"
Seeing this, Zhang Xiaoman had to temporarily delay using teleportation; he couldn’t stand by as Ni Yang made a foolish decision—the battle before them was certainly not one they could interfere with.
Yes, although the reasons were unclear, the fact was that those beings appearing on the outskirts of the gray mist, attempting to invade, were all of upper transcendent level. Their terrifying aura was too overwhelming, neither Zhang Xiaoman nor Ni Yang were their opponents.
Faced with this scenario, Zhang Xiaoman’s priority was to leave with Ni Yang quickly. Whatever was happening here was better left for them to investigate after they survived.
"Ni Yang, I’ll take you into the Original Realm! Don’t resist!"
Zhang Xiaoman was running out of options—since Ni Yang refused to leave, he had to forcefully pull it in.
Unfortunately, Ni Yang was still hesitant, unconsciously resisting Zhang Xiaoman’s pull into the Original Realm.
The restrictions when pulling someone into the Original Realm from another world were numerous; chiefly, the person or object being pulled must have no ability to resist.
With Ni Yang unwilling to leave, Zhang Xiaoman was anxious.
The battle ahead was intensifying; the earlier black claw figure had already pushed most of its body inside, its gaze fixed on the Demon Princess.
It was a massive humanoid creature; stripped of all its flesh by the gray mist, it appeared as a bloody monstrous figure, reminiscent of the mutants once spotted on Guleng Star, extremely frightening in appearance.
"Hehehehe!!"
The Black Claw Monster emitted a shrill, unpleasant laugh, its claw already reaching towards the Demon Princess. A little closer and it could touch her.
"Roar!!"
Finally unable to sit still, Ni Yang, seeing its Zizi in danger, disregarded everything else and roared, intending to charge forward.
However, that roar immediately caught the attention of the Black Claw Monster and the other monsters.
Instantly, the area fell into an abrupt silence.
Including the Black Claw Monster, all the monsters froze; they stared fixedly in Ni Yang’s direction, their previously ferocious expressions seemed to have been replaced by an expression of having seen a ghost.
Of course, for such beings, seeing a ghost wouldn’t make them act like this; the reason was because they saw someone—specifically, a person beside the lowly and hideously triangular green dragon.
"You you you you you! How could it be you!!?"
The Black Claw Demon Clan screamed in shock, retracting its previously extended claw instinctively.
"Impossible impossible impossible impossible!! You’re supposed to be dead! You must be dead! How could you be here!!!?"
"It must be an impostor! It must be an impostor!"
"No... No! This aura... It’s really him! It’s really him! He’s not dead! He’s not dead!"
"Run! Run!!"
"It’s a trap! It’s a trap! He lured us here to destroy us! Run away!!"
"Ahhhhh!! I waited for so many years!! Damn it!!! I’m not reconciled!!!!"
"Demon Lord!!!!!"
"..."
The scene was chaotic beyond measure; a group of people screamed repeatedly, including the Black Claw Monster, who had already squeezed most of its body inside. All the eerie entities from the chaotic void stopped and retreated in haste, as quickly as they had come.
