In an instant, Zi Kuang charged towards Naius, and the black-purple flames immediately evaporated the surging waves around it. Everyone could only see a rapidly dancing beam of light enveloping the giant octopus, and then they saw its dozens of tentacles being severed. On closer inspection, it appeared that the severed tentacles seemed to be roasted, emitting an enticing sheen.

"Roar!!"

The Octopus Monster, writhing in pain, unleashed its trump card.

A burst of hallucinatory blue light erupted from its remaining eye, activating the Divine Domain Series "Illusion". The swiftly darting figure of Zi Kuang suddenly halted abruptly in mid-air, his eyes filled with confusion.

"Awaken."

In the next second, a spiritual thought appeared in Zi Kuang’s mind, immediately restoring his senses, which were previously trapped in the illusion.

Pei Lingsu, standing inside the battleship at the rear, struggled a bit before shifting to a seated position.

Establishing a spiritual power connection with a being of the Extraordinary Level, even for a brief moment, nearly drained all her strength.

Yet, the effect was remarkable; Naius hadn’t expected the opponent to break free from its killing move so quickly. Without even having time to react, the entire fish head was split in half by Zi Kuang.

Apparently, this Octopus Monster didn’t possess the regenerative capabilities of the Demon Clan and the Evil Clan, and combined with a series of follow-up attacks by Zi Kuang, Naius was dismembered into countless tiny pieces, dead beyond death.

"Collect!"

Zi Kuang opened the Purple Charm Gate, capturing all the octopus pieces into it. This gate has many functions, including connecting to his Storage Space.

"Humph, for disturbing the happy reunion time of my daughter and me, consider these roasted octopus marbles as an apology gift for my daughter!"

Zi Kuang said, turning his head slightly and nodding in the direction of Pei Lingsu, then flew straight back to Rebirth Island.

Now, Ocean Star was just a fish on the chopping block, ready to be slaughtered. Without the Extraordinary Power and the protection of the ship fish swarm, the fate of this planet was already sealed.

The mass of this planet was substantial, making it quite difficult to completely destroy it without affecting the other planets in the Solar System.

With so many Dark Spirits within the Star Alliance, they didn’t even need an Extraordinary Level being to act; using an illusion realm space alone could solve this problem.

This asteroid belt consisted of the fragmented Ocean Star, with many smaller stars containing abundant spiritual material, making it a rich resource of dark spiritual materials upon extraction.

It’s worth mentioning that the water resources on Ocean Star weren’t wasted. They were directed and infused onto Mars by the Star Alliance’s Awakeners, officially kickstarting humanity’s extraterrestrial colonization plan.

Some weak, harmless Star Beasts were retained as the first settlers of Mars, which would greatly assist in humanity’s future efforts to alter Mars’ ecosystem.

However, even though the Ocean Star event had concluded, it was merely the beginning. Through this incident, people around the world learned one message: the Great Fusion had officially arrived.

For ordinary people, life and daily routines remained unchanged. Under the strong protection of the Star Alliance, the monsters affected by the Great Fusion, which appeared nearby, hadn’t even seen this world clearly before being reaped by the swarming Awakeners. The slain Alien Species were converted into Contribution Value and Merit, providing a significant boost to their strength.

Far away in the Second Universe, Zhang Xiaoman continued to receive a significant amount of points during this time, accumulating at a speed over ten times faster than before, resulting in upgrades to many of his Skills.

However, compared to ordinary people on Water Blue Star, the scene witnessed by the Awakeners was quite different.

If the situation on Water Blue Star was stable, then the Phantom Spirit Star System was the most affected by the Great Fusion.

Unlike Water Blue Star, which is naturally surrounded by stability and faced no dangerous areas aside from Ocean Star, the Phantom Spirit Star System had already suffered significantly.

Prior to the Great Fusion, a batch of Insect Race had arrived in the Phantom Spirit Star System early and established an insect swarm base there. As the number of the insect swarm reached a certain scale, the Insect Domain naturally formed.

However, compared to the true Desert Worm main forces, this Insect Domain was merely a small gathering place. It didn’t even require intervention from the Beller drone cluster; the Star Alliance’s fleet and the Phantom Spirit Clan could engage them in a balanced battle.

Brother Hero wasn’t sure what kind of bad luck plagued the Phantom Spirit Star System. It was not only initially attacked by the Insect Race, resulting in the entire star system being occupied by the Insect Race, but just when some progress was being made with the help of the Star Alliance to reclaim their homeland, the true Insect Domain descended.

The Great Fusion directly fused the Insect Domain from the Second Universe over.

Hence, the Star Alliance concentrated its main forces in this area. This would be a grueling war, requiring the growth of these insects to be contained. They must not be allowed to expand unchecked.
