No one expected that the Fish Head Monster, besides its tentacles, actually had long-range attack abilities. The water arrow came fiercely and swiftly, leaving Ma Xiaowen no time to react and dodge.

Fortunately, his master, Old Li, had prepared in advance. He raised the black shield in his hand, deflecting the water arrow. When the shield collided with the water arrow, it stirred an invisible ripple of spiritual power, but everyone present was an ordinary person, unable to see it.

Ma Xiaowen rushed out from behind the shield, holding up the Long Spear and pressing a button on the back.

The Long Spear shot out a blue beam, instantly penetrating the Fish Head Monster’s head.

The brown figures weren’t big, about the size of a Golden Retriever. Upon closer look, their body shapes were a bit like round flying fish, with heads occupying most of their body area, and having a bloody maw filled with sharp teeth, also possessing four short legs under their bellies, seemingly able to move on land.
