World-saving Plan: The Only Savior

Chapter 1923 - 37: The Withering of the White Tide

Not far in the distance, a figure dressed in a black robe stood proudly in the void.

His eyes emitted a thick black spiritual energy, absorbing all light that came into contact with them, as if they were not eyes but two black holes capable of devouring everything.

"Transcendent level!"

Alfarld exclaimed in shock, immediately crouching down into a battle-ready stance.

It realized it had fallen into a trap.

Because it wasn’t just the blue planet it had been searching for that appeared before it; besides the black-robed figure, there were also seven or eight other figures exuding a vast aura, each one standing like pillars of creation in the universe, putting invisible pressure on it.

The fact that Alfarld felt pressured could only mean one thing: all these figures had reached the transcendent level or higher.

"Eight transcendent level beings! How is this possible!?"

Alfarld exclaimed in disbelief.

It couldn’t imagine why the other side possessed such immense strength.

This was the transcendent level! Each one was an existence that could dominate a star domain, beings that ordinary people might never witness in their lifetime, but now eight had appeared all at once, calmly waiting on the other side of the teleport gate, which was truly shocking.

Since when did transcendent level beings become as common as cabbages?

Alfarld shook its head vigorously, convinced that it was trapped in an illusion, having walked into the domain of an illusion technique master trying to scare it off.

"Humph, I have to admit, your illusion is impressive, even I couldn’t see through it immediately, but unfortunately for you, you made a mistake."

Regaining its composure, Alfarld looked coldly at the black-robed man before it and said:

"Your mistake was creating too many transcendent level beings, trying to scare me away with multiple divine beings of the same realm, but you didn’t realize that such a large number of transcendent level beings is already your biggest flaw!"

The black-robed man standing opposite it was the Hall Master of the Moon Shadow Hall of the Star Alliance, Black Soul.

Black Soul, upon hearing Alfarld’s long-winded speech, couldn’t help but look somewhat odd under his black robe.

What was wrong with this guy? He seriously convinced himself and said that Black Soul and the others were just an illusion. Did he really think it was all fake?

Really, seeing a rustic beast like this, thinking their lineup was an illusion, left Black Soul speechless.

But to be fair, it wasn’t entirely Alfarld’s fault. The Star Alliance’s lineup was just too luxurious; Alfarld probably thought this was just a low-level backwater planet, never expecting it to hide so many big shots.

Gathering eight transcendent level powerhouses was rare even in the Dark Star Alliance, a spectacle possible only with the assembly of the ancestors from several major families.

Due to his character, Black Soul didn’t bother explaining to Alfarld and instead simply waved his hand, shooting a black energy beam towards the opponent.

This was a strike imbued with the Divine Domain from Black Soul, needing no further explanation; just this strike was enough to explain everything, it was undoubtedly a transcendent level strike, as the Divine Domain could not be faked!

Alfarld staggered from the hit; although it was in a sorry state, it immediately used its corresponding Divine Domain ability to block it.

Although it said it didn’t believe it, as a transcendent level being, it acted with great caution. No matter how absurd a situation was, it never truly let its guard down.

However, this caused the calm and composure on its face to disappear entirely, replaced by undisguised fear and confusion.

"No, how could it be... is this actually real...?"

Alfarld looked around in shock. The other seven powerful figures hadn’t made a move, but the oppressive force was real, coupled with Black Soul’s previous attack, making it immediately aware of a frightening fact: the transcendent beings before it were indeed real!

"No... maybe only the black-robed man is real, and the others are just fabricated illusions..."

Alfarld found some solace in its heart. However, it shook its head while retreating, glancing reluctantly at the distant blue planet, seemingly ready to retreat.

Regardless of whether this was an illusion, Alfarld had already decided not to stay here any longer; its cautious nature led it to abandon this endeavor. Even if this was an illusion, and the other transcendent beings were fake, at least the black-robed man before it was truly transcendent, something confirmed by the undeniable Divine Domain.

Therefore, with the other side already having a transcendent being, attempting to forcibly dismantle that planet was unlikely to be easy, potentially leading to its injury, even if the black-robed man’s power wasn’t as much as its own, it was evident that Alfarld’s plan couldn’t be easily realized.

"Humph, I will be back..."
