Chapter 87: Second Shard

Even after killing the Titan Elephant, Evan continued to use Wind Monarch Skill to keep the poisonous smoke of the green-scaled snake away from him.

When the three remaining magical beasts saw another one of their companions die so easily, they started to feel fear.

Evan easily noticed the trembling of their bodies, but his eyes couldn’t help but narrow when he saw that although they were trembling, none of them tried to run away.

It was as if the thought of abandoning the battle and running away didn’t even exist in their minds.

Suddenly, the tall bear let out a roar to encourage itself and the other two beasts before charging toward Evan.

Hearing the bear’s roar, the salamander also opened its mouth, and a fireball began to form right outside it.

However, unlike the previous time when it had shot the fireball instantly, this time, the salamander didn’t release it immediately.

Evan picked them up and looked at the stat points he had received from these three magical beasts.

After putting the shard and the map into his storage ring, he searched the beasts’ bodies for Mana Cores but didn’t find any.

Shaking his head, he quickly left the grass field.

What surprised him even more was that the third grass field marked on the map was also inside the Dream Forest, about a three-day journey away from him.

"If the third grass field is also inside this forest, then I guess the fourth one will also be here. Since that’s the case, I should be able to collect all four shards here if nothing goes wrong."
