Thomas had barely taken a few steps back to run away before everything was already over.

He could only watch everything unfold with horror-filled eyes, but he couldn’t do anything as Evan’s Agility was simply too fast.

The thing that made his heart turn cold was when he saw the bear’s head explode like a watermelon from a single punch.

As someone who had been with Lucas for a long time, he knew how strong the defense of his summoned bear was.

And now, seeing Evan kill it with just a single punch, he finally realized how ridiculous it was for them to even think about killing him.

Elena, who was standing at the side was also shocked by everything she had witnessed.

At first, when she saw Evan camping alone in the wilderness, she thought that he was also a moron like her who had come out alone without knowing the dangers of the outside world.

But now, seeing everything and remembering how she had been telling him to run away earlier, her mouth couldn’t help but twitch.

’This guy is just a freak...’ She thought inwardly, feeling her face burn from embarrassment.

As the bear died, Evan once again heard Lucas’s painful scream as he received another backlash.

The pain of the backlash, combined with his broken legs, was so intense that he immediately fainted.

Once both Lucas and the bear were out of the battle, Evan looked toward Thomas, who seemed to be planning to run away.

The moment Thomas saw Evan looking at him, he couldn’t help but instinctively take a step back as his scalp tingled.

He thought about running away, but remembering Evan’s ghostly speed from earlier, he was sure that the moment he turned around, it would be his doom.

Suddenly, Evan sensed something and looked toward Lia.

"Do you really think that just because you erased your presence and melted into the darkness, I can’t sense you?"

He spoke in a cold voice, and the next instant, the wind around Lia moved and condensed into a sharp spear.

Woosh!

The spear shot behind her at lightning speed and—

Puchi!

"Arghhh!"

A burst of blood erupted, followed by a painful scream as James fell to the ground with a hole in his abdomen.

Under the effect of Wind Detection, Evan had always been able to sense James’s position.

So, the moment he saw him moving toward Lia, Evan immediately dealt with him.

After taking care of James, there was only Thomas left.

Seeing that all of his companions had been defeated so easily, Thomas knew that he would soon meet the same end as them.

He also knew that no matter what he said, he wouldn’t be able to convince Evan to let him go, so he didn’t beg.

He took a deep breath, and a crazed look appeared in his eyes.

"Since you forced me into this situation, even if I die, I will take you with me!" Thomas shouted and took out a strange red pill from his pocket.

"That’s a Life-Burning Pill!" Evan suddenly heard Elena’s anxious shout.

Hearing the name of the pill, his expression changed slightly, and his eyes narrowed.

He had heard about this pill from his grandmother.

From what he knew, a Life-Burning Pill could give its user an enormous boost in power for a short period of time.

However, the side effect of this pill was that it burned the user’s life force in exchange for that increase in power.

Thomas heard Elena’s shout and sneered as he brought the pill closer to his mouth.

However, before he could put it into his mouth, his body suddenly stiffened as if it had been bound by invisible chains.

"Did you really think that just because I gave you guys some time earlier to make your moves, I would just stand here and watch you increase your strength?"

He heard Evan’s mocking voice and at the same time, the pill in his hand suddenly disappeared.

Evan looked at the pill that he had snatched after stopping Thomas using Shackles of Wind and casually put it away inside his Storage Ring.

Noticing that Evan had once again used that strange skill from earlier, Thomas gritted his teeth and immediately tried to activate his skill.

A rock-like Earth Armor appeared around his body.

At the same time, he planned to use Earth Spike, just like before, to make Evan lose focus so that he could move again.

However, this time, Thomas had miscalculated something.

BOOOOOOM!

Before he could even use Earth Spike, a punch landed directly on his chest.

Bang!

The rock-like Earth Armor that he had condensed around his body immediately exploded and Thomas was sent flying backward for nearly twenty meters.

BOOOOOOM!

His body crashed against a tall boulder, and the boulder also exploded into countless rock fragments as a cloud of dust slowly rose into the air.

Thomas felt his entire world spin before he finally lost consciousness and passed out from the intense pain coming from his nearly broken body.

The golden glow surrounding Evan’s hand slowly disappeared, and he shook his head.

’Do they really think I am one of those stupid people who would let them use every single move and power up before taking action...?’

He thought inwardly and turned to look at David and James, who were still howling in pain.

Evan’s figure flickered, and he appeared in front of James.

Bang!

He kicked James in the abdomen, making him cough out blood.

Before James could recover—

Bang!

A heavy kick landed on his head, making him lose consciousness as well.

David received the same treatment and just like his companions, he also lost consciousness a few seconds later.

Once he had taken care of all four of them, Evan glanced at their unconscious bodies, and his eyes narrowed slightly.

’It would be a waste to just throw them out for Magical Beasts to enjoy...’

He glanced toward Lia and immediately thought of something.

’Right, I should just let her go back to sleep first. I can take care of these four afterward...’

He thought before finally shifting his attention toward the person who had brought all of these people to his camp.
