Leon entered the room and locked the door behind him. Immediately, Thyra pounced on him. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders, and her legs coiled around his waist.

She simply hung on him like a koala, and Leon rubbed her back gently.

"Missed me that much?" He asked smugly.

Thyra pouted and planted a kiss on his forehead. "No, idiot. I was worried about you. Do you even understand what you did? The Epic?"

Leon’s expression became serious. "I don’t, actually. I was hoping you’d be able to exp—wait. How did you know?"

Thyra rolled her eyes. "Your ignorance is appalling. Sit."

Nodding, he carried her to the bed and sat at the edge, with her still straddling him.

Resting her elbows on his shoulders and cradling his head gently, she explained.

"An Epic isn’t something you should have. At least not at this stage. The basic minimum for owning an Epic is Tier Five. In rare cases would you see a Tier Four Entity with an Epic."

Leon frowned. "Then how did I get it? A bug in the Star Stream?"

Thyra shook her head. "No, not that. Anyone can get an Epic, if they do something recognizable by the Star Stream. However, to have the capacity to do something recognizable by the Star Stream, you need to be at least, Tier Four. But you... you now own one when you’re just Tier One."

Feeling a flicker of pride, Leon smirked. "Well, that proves that I’m amazing, no? Heh."

Thyra glared at him, then laughed. "Well, I’m not done talking, am I?"

Sensing something in her voice, Leon’s smirk vanished. "What’s that...?"

"Well, basically, everyone in the whole universe knows about the Darkness Addict, now. They know what you did, and they’re probably searching for you already."

Hearing that, Leon frowned seriously. "The fuck? Why would it be a global announcement or something? What’s this about?"

Patting his head, she cooed softly and explained. "That’s just how Epics work. The more people know about your Epic, the more powerful it is."

Leon slowly nodded. "That makes sense. But how does it increase my strength? I haven’t received any stat boosts or whatnot."

Humming, Thyra nodded. "You’re right. It doesn’t give you stat boosts, but it gives you something else."

Suddenly thinking of something, she grinned.

"Since you’re going to fight some Tier Two bums tomorrow, I’ll teach you how to use it properly. Of course, that’s after you properly compensate me for this longing I had over the past one month. And it’s an eyesore seeing other women clinging to you like moths around a flame."

Leon smiled stiffly. "Forget about them. Let’s settle your... longing."

With a single thought, Thyra’s robes dissolved into intangible shadows.

Suddenly staring at her naked body, Leon was awestruck. This wasn’t the first time he had seen her naked, but he never ceased to be amazed.

"Well? Are you just going to stare?" She asked, her lips curving seductively.
