Chapter 799 - 360: Bloodline Curse Mark (Part 3)

Chapter 799: Chapter 360: Bloodline Curse Mark (Part 3)

"How is Uphemia’s progress?" Maggs’ voice emerged from the spider, carrying its characteristic multiple echo effect:

"Do you really think the special mark you implanted in her can achieve the expected effect?"

Aiden gently stroked the table with his normal right hand:

"Of course. That mark is the culmination of my lifetime research, merging the highest achievements in Bloodline Studies, Soul Studies, and contract curses."

The vertical eye on his forehead turned towards the spider:

"Uphemia is not only my most perfect creation, but also the daughter I personally cultivated. My care for her goes far beyond your imagination."

"Care?" Maggs’ spider form slowly crawled across the table, all eight eyes staring at Aiden:

"It should be control, right? The Bloodline Lock and the special mark you imposed on her don’t resemble a father’s love for his daughter."

Aiden emitted a chilling laugh, like nails on glass:

"Control is the deepest form of care. This world is full of betrayal and danger, only under my protection can she truly be safe."

The eyeballs on his left arm started to rotate frantically:

"How do you think Cassandra treats Eve? Superficial freedom, actual manipulation. At least I am honest; I never hide my desire to control Uphemia."

Maggs remained silent for a moment, seemingly pondering this twisted logic:

"But what if the target of your plan refuses to cooperate? Ron Ralph’s caution exceeds our expectations."

"Then use the ’special gift’ I prepared."

Aiden’s voice grew more sinister, the vertical eye on his forehead began to emit a dangerous red light.

He extended his right hand, a complex red Rune appeared in his palm.

The Rune started to rotate slowly, emitting a disturbing Charm.

"This is the ultimate insurance I implanted in her bloodline—’Bloodline Curse Mark Creation Technique.’

Aiden’s voice carried a sick pride:

"When she engages in... the most intimate contact with the target, the mark will activate, planting a permanent control curse mark within them."

Maggs’ eight eyes widened: "You mean..."

"Exactly, through coupling, she can implant my mark deep within the target’s soul."

Aiden’s laughter grew more triumphant: "Once successful, the target’s will, Memory, even soul, will be completely under my control."

He paused, the vertical eye on his forehead turned towards an invisible direction:

"This control is two-way, when Uphemia controls Ron, I indirectly control him through her. A perfect design."

His expression became even more sinister:

"I understand Uphemia, more deeply than she understands herself.

Though she has an independent personality, her core values are all shaped by me.

When the critical moment comes, she will make the right choice."

"What if she really develops rebellious thoughts?" Maggs asked with some boredom.

Aiden emitted a beast-like growl:

"Then I will personally correct her mistakes, the Bloodline Lock ensures she can never truly betray me. Moreover..."

The eyeballs on his left arm began to shed bloody tears:

"I can activate all marks within her at any time, letting her experience pain worse than Death. But I hope that day will never come, because she is my only... masterpiece."

This twisted paternal love chilled Maggs.

"Regarding the special aspect of Ron..." it decided to change the topic: "Do you really believe he has the potential to become the King of Eras?"

Upon hearing this question, Aiden’s expression turned serious.

He retrieved an ancient tome from the blood pool on the table with his normal right hand, the pages soaked with blood yet the text remained clear.

"This is Selena’s research notes."

He opened the tome, pointing to a passage written in blood ink:

"Here she recorded her observations on the pattern of era changes, each era transition requires a catalyst with special qualities."

Aiden’s vertical eye focused on the page, the spiral in his pupil slowly turning:

"This person must not only have extraordinary talent but also the will to break established tracks. Most importantly..."

He paused, his voice becoming mysterious:

"He must be able to preserve his humanity while withstanding the Erosion from Chaos. An almost impossible balance."

"And Ron Ralph..." Aiden’s eyes revealed a greedy gleam:

"I can sense traces of the King of Illusions’ power in him, that damned imposter, disrupted my progress like this in the past..."

Mentioning the King of Illusions stirred evident emotions in Aiden.

The vertical eye on his forehead flashed violently, the eyeballs on his left arm spun wildly.

"But this time is different." He struggled to control his anger:

"If I succeed in controlling him, it’s equivalent to grasping the dominance of the next era."

Maggs’ spider form created a complex web on the table:

"So, how confident are you in the success of this plan?"

Aiden pondered, revealing a terrifying smile:

"At least seventy percent, Uphemia’s beauty and talent are enough to attract young men, and her Special Ability is indefensible. Even if the target notices, it’s hard to remain rational in such situations."

His voice grew more sinister:

"Additionally, I have prepared other alternative plans for her. If gentle methods fail, she has other ways to achieve her goal. The Blood Moon Clan’s bloodline dominance isn’t limited to Abyssal Creatures..."

The chamber fell into brief silence, only the distant heartbeat echoing endlessly.

"I look forward to your good news."

Ultimately, Maggs said, the spider form began to dissipate:

"If this plan succeeds, we will all receive unprecedented rewards."

Aiden sat alone in the chamber, gazing at the distorted blood-red sky in the distance.

In his plan, this is only the beginning.

Once he controls Ron through Uphemia, the real game will begin.

He will make those who once looked down on him pay the price, let the entire Court of Truth witness the true power of the "False King."
