The wings of the Storm Giant Eagle gradually folded, and the thunder subsided;

The roar of the Earth Vein Rock Turtle grew weaker and eventually quieted.

David nodded with a smile, knowing he had taken an important step towards the World Tree projection.

David gazed at the barren desert, a vague heaviness rising in his heart.

They began searching the desert for the location of the sacrificial ritual.

“This is the site of the Life Sacrifice ritual.”

Liliana said, “We need to perform the ritual here, offering part of our life power.”

David nodded, walking to the altar, gazing at the sunken pit.

He took a deep breath, then closed his eyes, beginning to concentrate. He

could feel the life power within him surging, as if ready to erupt at any moment.

He began chanting an ancient and mysterious spell, the Life Sacrifice ritual spell taught to him by Liliana.

As the spell echoed, the life power within him began to boil, threatening to break free of its bonds.

He felt severe pain from within, almost unbearable.

But he knew it was a necessary sacrifice.

He gritted his teeth, continuing to chant the spell, letting his life power flow continuously into the altar.

With the loss of life power, he felt his body growing weaker, as if he were about to collapse.

However, at this moment, his pseudo-divine body suddenly unleashed a powerful force, stabilizing his life power.

He felt a warm force surging into his body, restoring his strength.

He knew this was the pseudo-divine body protecting him, enabling him to continue the ritual.

After enduring a long ritual process, David finally offered part of his life power.

He felt as if his body had been emptied, yet his heart was filled with peace and satisfaction.

He knew he had successfully passed the trial of the Life Sacrifice.

When he opened his eyes, he saw Liliana looking at him with concern.

She felt the changes in David, knowing he had made a great sacrifice.

She stepped forward, gently embracing David, offering comfort and support.
