Sunlight dappled the ground through the treetops, the bright rays bringing warmth and vitality.

He gently set Alina down, ensuring she could stand firm, and once again observed her face.

“We’ve arrived,” David softly said.

Alina looked up, seeing the furred members of the Wolf Race gathering at the entrance, their faces full of anxiety and expectation.

Seeing the princess return safely, everyone simultaneously cheered, the tension within them finally easing.

“Princess! You finally returned!”

A young wolf warrior excitedly ran over, tears glistening in his eyes, “We were all waiting for you!”

“I’m back.”

Alina smiled slightly, but a hint of exhaustion quietly showed behind the smile.

Everyone gathered around, some of them looking at David with grateful and reverent eyes.

They realized that this young human not only rescued their beloved princess but also saved the other captives.
