Among the students of High-tier Mages, she is not the most active one, usually very low-key, and her specific strength is unknown. Fortunately, she is also a member of the Six Rings Tower, and I have already visited her in advance, so there shouldn’t be any conflicts between us. In critical moments, she might also provide some assistance to us juniors of the Six Rings Tower."

"The fifth one, Annabelle Bryan." Vera opened the last page, the photo on the data page showed a young woman with long silver-white hair draping down to her waist, with a delicate face like porcelain and a slight smile at the corner of her lips, exuding an undeniable affinity even in the standard half-body shot of intelligence files.

"Annabelle is the most outstanding member of the current generation of the Bryan family, having advanced to Level 3 before the age of thirty, with the awakening degree of the Silver Radiance Angel Bloodline ranking among the top in the family’s history. She has a cooperation basis with the Duke; when the authorization of the Automatic Meditation Potion was divided, the Bryan clan won four regions on the Golden Continent, excluding the areas controlled by the Bloodgold clan—it was she who personally negotiated it, Duke, you should be familiar."

"Annabelle is someone we can engage with." Duke chimed in, "The Bryan family and the Bloodgold clan have been arch-enemies, openly and covertly vying on the Golden Continent for two thousand years without a pause. The Bloodgold clan has always wanted to utterly crush the Bryan family, but they have never succeeded.

The Bryan family has risen to today’s scale under the suppression of the Bloodgold clan, relying not just on bloodline power. The two families will clash on the Path of Divine Revelation without needing any external provocation, they will act on their own. If we can provide some support at critical moments, the foundation for cooperation is established.

Annabelle is pragmatic, as seen when we negotiated business deals in the authorization meeting; she won’t let personal emotions affect family interests. Because of this, dealing with her is relatively straightforward.

As long as we present conditions beneficial to her, she will weigh the pros and cons without much probing. Additionally, my understanding of her combat style and specific abilities is limited, so this needs attention during engagement."

"With the Duke present, Annabelle shouldn’t harbor any malice towards us. Each of these five individuals can crush most of their peers within the same rank. Should a single one-on-one encounter occur, with our current strength, the odds of winning are very low." Vera paused, her tone becoming more solemn than before, "But what you truly need to remember is not their names, but the vast difference between Demigod level and ordinary Level 3."

She closed the document, clasped her hands on the tabletop, and let her gaze slowly sweep across every face present.

"Most of you have never actually faced a Demigod level in combat, so there’s still a lack of a concrete understanding of a Demigod level’s strength."

"Demigod levels possess Rule Pressure, their Rule Sparks have already formed, no longer like the scattered Rule Enlightenment of Level 3 mages, but a cohesive Rule Flame capable of self-combustion. When this flame is activated, anyone with Rule Enlightenment lower than theirs will be directly suppressed. This suppression is not a psychological fear, but an absolute suppression on a plane level. Your Spirit Sea will instinctively contract, your Rule Power will become sluggish, as if a person accustomed to running on land is suddenly thrown into water, every movement requires many times more effort than usual."

"Additionally, the continuous output of the Rule Spark." Vera extended a finger, a faint green glow emanated from the fingertip, a hint of Natural Element Rule power, "We Level 3 mages invoke rules, essentially are borrowing. Every strike requires consuming Spiritual Power and Magic Power to invoke Rule Power, imposing a considerable burden on Spiritual Power.

But the Rule Spark of Demigod level burns continuously, as long as the spark remains, Rule Power is endless. This means every strike is rule-enhanced, requiring no accumulation of force, no pause, capable of uninterrupted release.

Battles between Demigod levels often become endurance wars, but a Demigod attacking a Level 3 typically ends the battle in very short time.

Last time on the Four Spirits Elemental Plane, the Level 3 Lord of Flame in Molten Fire Fortress was ambushed and instantly killed by Mateo the Demigod in mere seconds.

That was because Mateo chose a one-strike killing method; if it were a frontal engagement, the Level 3 Lord of Flame might have lasted a bit longer, but the outcome would not change."

"The terrifying strength of these Demigod levels is sufficient on its own, but even more troubling are the forces backing them." Vera flipped the document to the last page, pointing to the densely packed list above, "Valentine and Audric brought several Demigod level guards, Jonathan has the elite Empire Knights from the Seville Empire’s Knight Hall escorting him, Helena has the combat mage squad directly under the Six Rings Tower, and Annabelle will not travel alone either.

In other words, we face not just a single Demigod-level mage, but an entire elite combat formation centered around a Demigod level, equipped with several high-tier guards. Meanwhile, on our side, the main forces are only Level 3 Initial to Level 3 Middle Stage." She closed the document, pushing it to the center of the table, "This is the situation we currently face."

Vera provided detailed intelligence information to several people, the core purpose was to make Duke and the others aware of the opponents’ strength, and to avoid confrontation with these people whenever possible.

The reason Demigod level is so named is because they are fundamentally different from ordinary Level 3 mages, not something a typical Level 3 mage can contend with.

...

One week later.

At the edge of the Central Isles, there are many islands that are not usually open to the public, among them one named Watch Island.

On the island, there are no dormitories or shops, nor any facilities needed for daily activities of ordinary students, only a massive building, entirely cast from silver-gray metal, standing tall in the center of the island.

The building is shaped like a regular octagon, and each wall is engraved with densely packed rune patterns, the patterns extend from the wall base all the way to the dome, exuding a cold and solemn sheen under the silver-blue sky.

The entire building is enveloped by several large-scale defensive Witch Arrays, with the Energy Barrier rippling slowly around the building, each ripple in the air causing a circle of faint golden ripples visible to the naked eye.

Inside the building is an extremely spacious circular hall, with a dome nearly a hundred meters high, the ground paved with whole pieces of Obsidian Bricks, with already activated Teleportation Array patterns embedded in the brick joints.

The scale of the Teleportation Array far exceeds ordinary cross-continent arrays, almost covering the entire floor of the hall, with array patterns flowing with a deep silver-blue glow, flickering every few breaths, each flicker causing a slight tremor in the hall’s air.

When Duke and Vera’s group arrived, the hall was already filled with young elite wizards from various continents.

The direct lineage team of the Bloodgold clan, wearing dark red robes with gold edges, occupied the eastern side closest to the Teleportation Array, with Valentine and Audric standing side by side, several Demigod level guards behind them, each with a Dragon Claw Badge on their chest glowing with a cold dark gold sheen under the array’s light.

On the western side was the team of the Bryan family, with Annabelle quietly standing at the forefront in a silver-white gown, the unique faint silver halo of the Silver Radiance Angel Bloodline slowly revolving around her, reflecting with the silver-blue glow of the Teleportation Array.

On the southern side was the knight unit of the Seville Empire, with Prince Jonathan the Fourth wearing a deep blue Empire Knight suit, a longsword sheathed at his waist, the Royal Sapphire embedded in the scabbard sparkling like a star under the light.

Behind him stood two rows of elite knights from the Knight Hall, each maintaining a posture as straight as a javelin, without a single movement.

Throughout the hall, young wizards from the East Coast, Scavi Continent, and other continents were scattered, forming a flowing mosaic of colors with the different robe colors and badges.
