Wizard: Scamming a Demon God
Chapter 353 - 258: Sales Champion Isaac, Part 2
Chapter 353: Chapter 258: Sales Champion Isaac, Part 2
But soon, Isaac would show Caesar what a true Mad Witch was!
Because...
Waves of power from the Outer God Trading Ceremony rippled out, one after another!
"This brother of yours... is a bit terrifying..."
A voice only Caesar could hear sounded from behind him. Caesar wanted to reply, to ask the being to protect Isaac in a moment of crisis, but his lips did nothing but tremble, unable to form any words.
Because this was truly terrifying...
Caesar wasn’t the only one who was frightened. So were the two Tier Five Mages from the Flesh Sect and the Mechanical God Sect, who were monitoring Isaac from the Void. They were only here to prevent Isaac from summoning an Evil God to attack the Mechanical God Sect, which would escalate the war even further.
By now, de-escalation had become the consensus between both sides. The fighting could not go on. The treasures of the Endless Sea, while plentiful, weren’t worth fighting to this extent. The conflict had basically devolved into settling personal vendettas.
But...
What the fuck...
This seemed even more vicious than directly attacking the Mechanical God Sect!
But...
The two exchanged a look and, with a tacit understanding, chose not to intervene.
First, it didn’t violate their organization’s rules. Second...
...they didn’t dare to make a move.
True, Tier Five Mages possessed power that made them unafraid of Deities, but...
...the sheer number was just too damn high!
Tier Five Mages were only fearless in one-on-one combat, and the same was true for Demigods. Most Demigods possessed the ability to slay an Outer God in a one-on-one fight, gain a slight advantage in a one-on-two, and even fight to a stalemate against three.
But...
...even a Demigod that powerful would be daunted by so many Outer Gods.
...
*Phew...*
Isaac heaved a long sigh and wiped the non-existent sweat from his brow. The first phase of the ceremonies was complete. He walked to the side, preparing to rest for a bit.
Isaac had prepared a total of eight ceremonies for this first phase. The first four focused on enhancing his Dimensional Magic Power, and the latter four focused on his Dimension Perception Power—the power of a full eight Outer Gods!
Even though he had only harvested a balanced type of enhancement material—a Concept—each one still had its own focus and inclination. Combined with the sheer quantity he had gathered, a quantitative change led to a qualitative one.
After being infused with the power of eight Outer Gods, the Erosive and perceptive qualities of his Dimensional Magic Power now largely met his requirements. Next, he would seek the power of the Master of the Illusory Starry Sky, Bretholman.
However...
After consecutively performing eight ceremonies, even Isaac felt a hint of exhaustion.
But it was nothing a short rest couldn’t fix.
After a brief respite, Isaac began the second phase of ceremonies. There were fewer this time—only three. Even so, the hearts of the observers outside the Mage Tower skipped a beat.
He’s actually...
’He’s starting again?’
’It’s not over yet?’
’Or rather... how is he not dead from all that?’
Fortunately, only three waves of ceremonial power rippled out this time before it all came to an end. The observers breathed a small sigh of relief, but they were then plunged into deep self-doubt.
’Since when were three Outer God Ceremonies nothing to them?’
In the Void, the two Tier Five Mages exchanged a look, each seeing the fear in the other’s eyes.
Yes, fear!
It was not a fear of Isaac, but of their own mental state. In less than a few days, they had already become like this. If they kept watching, wouldn’t they become Mad Witches themselves?
Thus, after exchanging one last look, they departed immediately.
Although Tier Five was strong, there was still plenty of room for advancement. The path of a Mad Witch, one of plundering Outer Gods, held a certain temptation for them...
...
As the third ceremony concluded, Isaac stood amidst the remnants of the ritual, feeling the power he had harvested from the Mysterious Void. The corners of his mouth lifted slightly. This harvest was even greater than that of the first phase!
’This is the proper way to use the Outer God Trading Ceremony!’
Casually choosing an Outer God for some vague purpose, grabbing whatever one could, and tossing it into a Dimension World simply couldn’t compare to the gains from seeking a specific, targeted goal.
Take this, for example—the Illusory Starry Night!
Illusory Starry Night: Reflects the Void to create a starscape that is both real and illusory. By reading the information from the flow of its stars, one can obtain the answer to a prophecy, with the cost of said prophecy borne by this artificial void.
Furthermore, if the created starscape were powerful enough, it could even rewrite—or anchor—the future!
Illusory Starry Night, the ultimate Magic of the Astrology Faction!
Besides the Illusory Starry Night, Isaac had also obtained another rather precious item from this former Legendary Mage: *Introduction to the Creation of Higher Creatures*.
This book was the result of Isaac taking all the techniques for creating High-level Creatures that he’d obtained from Outer Gods during the previous eight trades and giving them to Bretholman to perfect.
Compared to other unorthodox and unreliable Magic Books, this one, despite being saturated with the ominous magic of Evil God Power, contained far more reliable information. It would be of great assistance to Isaac in his creation of High-Dimensional Apostles.
*Phew...*
Isaac let out a long sigh of relief. After telling Liu Li to go and reassure Caesar in the castle, he stepped through a ripple in Space, collapsed onto his bed, and fell into a deep sleep, focusing on restoring his exhausted mind.
The ceremonies may have been over, but Isaac’s preparations were not.
Now, only one task remained: creating High-Dimensional Apostles.
His Dimension World currently possessed two Authorities. Theoretically, by relying on its nearly infinite Magic Power, he could create as many High-Dimensional Apostles as he had Dimension Apostles.
But this was only in theory. The true power of a High-level Life form lay in its Authority and the extent to which that Authority was developed.
If he only cared about quantity, he would merely create a pile of inferior High-level Demons that only possessed the magic power of a High-level Life form. Under the current circumstances, the most suitable number was two!
A number equal to the Authorities fused with his Dimension World.
This would not only allow them to maximize the power of their Authorities and instantly become top-tier existences among High-level Life forms, but they could also use the nigh-infinite Magic Power of the Dimension World to cultivate their Authorities. As they increased their own strength, they would in turn feed power back into the Dimension World, making it even stronger.
It was a win-win situation!
This was far more practical than squandering a mountain of resources to create a batch of pretty-but-useless decorations.
However, as good as this method was, it was not easy. Even though the Magic Book he had acquired posed little difficulty for Isaac to learn, he still needed to rest and recover his mental fortitude.
Besides, the method had another major sticking point.
Since the goal was to improve quality, the Dimension Apostles chosen for transformation couldn’t be selected at random; they had to possess a certain aptitude. Unfortunately, in his previous rush to expand the number of his Dimension Apostles and spread his intelligence network as quickly as possible, Isaac hadn’t paid much attention to their quality.
His Dimension Apostles couldn’t even be called a mixed bag; they were largely subpar. Out of so many, only one anomaly had ever emerged: the Three-eyed Goblin, Soron Demon Eye. And his existence was a Miracle of life’s creation, something essentially impossible to replicate.
In other words, among his existing Dimension Apostles, only Soron met Isaac’s requirements.
But Isaac was unwilling to have Soron do this.
Because Isaac had much higher expectations for Soron Demon Eye.
Neither of these two Authorities suited Soron’s path. So, the search would have to continue...
Fortunately, Isaac didn’t need to worry about it. He just needed to sleep. Such trivial matters would naturally be handled by Liu Li and Soron.
This included deploying the Dimension Apostles to complete tasks assigned by the Sect, sending them to major battlefields to use Dimensional Magic Power for the Erosion and Corruption of the Mechanical God Sect’s Alien Divine Power, and earning Contribution Points for Isaac.
...
「And so, time flowed on. Three days passed in the blink of an eye.」
When Isaac slowly awoke from his slumber, laid out before him were stacks of mission completion reports from the Sect. These reports were not just a testament to the battle results achieved by Soron and the others during this time; they represented Isaac’s rapidly increasing Contribution Points!
In addition, the Dimension Apostle candidates for the two Authorities were ready. They would suffice, at least for the foreseeable future.
