Looking at the few names recommended on the back of the application, Isaac blinked. His first reaction was that these were other Mad Witches from within the Sect, but he quickly dismissed the idea. By now, Isaac had a general understanding of the temperament of these Mad Witches.

They were certainly mad, but they weren’t necessarily brave.

An ordinary Mad Witch would never have the guts to make a move against a True God. They didn’t even dare to touch the Outer Gods, despite the dual protection of the Gate of Legends and the Real World, let alone a True God who had far fewer restrictions.

So, they couldn’t possibly be Mad Witches. They were most likely just some unorthodox, regular Wizards.

Besides, compared to Mad Witches, regular Wizards were the ones most likely to be interested in researching True Gods, especially those backed by major powers.

However, such research was typically peaceful. Most of it, like the Truth Association’s development of the Book of Privileges, was done with the permission of a True God.

Asking for forgiveness rather than permission also worked.

Even though Isaac suspected these guys were the type of Wizards who stuck to conventional research methods, he decided to check them out anyway. After all, he couldn’t find anyone else to work on this subject with him at the moment.

But the location...

Isaac looked at their location and frowned. It was quite far. It seemed he should increase his strength before heading out again. At the very least, he should first obtain an Authority through normal means and develop its corresponding Authority Magic before going.

That would make him feel more secure.

Normally, he should have obtained an Authority combining his abilities and research field when he advanced to High-level Mage. Unfortunately, he had already acquired Authority·[Analysis] before his promotion. As a result, aside from [God-Stealer], which was already on the verge of evolving, he didn’t gain any new Authorities after his advancement.

Of these two Authorities, [Analysis] was a pure Support Authority, so there was no need to develop an Authority Magic for it. [God-Stealer] was much the same; after becoming an Authority, it merely gained the ability to steal Divine Power for his own use.

Frankly, the ability was of little use to Isaac. He would have preferred another slot for a Follower.

Therefore, he was in dire need of an Authority suited for actual combat—preferably an offensive one.

In truth, even without a combat-oriented Authority, given Isaac’s current power, he wasn’t afraid of ordinary High-level Mages. As long as he didn’t run into a veteran High-level Mage like Mensa, his arsenal of techniques was more than enough.

But, how should he put it?

Isaac suffered from a mild fear of insufficient firepower. Even if it might not provide much of an upgrade, he felt that having one more Authority would make things more secure.

Thus, after leaving the Sect’s Dimension World, he set the application aside and once again dove headfirst into his experiments. There were four Authorities he could master the quickest, each represented by one of his Privilege Magics: [Gravity], [Electromagnetic Force], [Positive Infinitesimal], and [Immunity].

Mastering these four Authorities and developing their corresponding Authority Magic would be a perfect upgrade to Isaac’s current tactical system. The first three had already proven their strength in past battles. The Privilege Magic developed using [Immunity] as a template, while not yet tested in real combat, was also undeniably powerful.

It could nullify almost any magical effect, even influencing Angel’s time Curse!

While it couldn’t dispel it completely, that was enough to prove its overwhelming power.

It was just that his previous opponents, whether King Yitla or Caesar, had never been able to force him to use this Privilege Magic, so it had never been put to use. Nevertheless, as an important part of Isaac’s tactical Body Techniques, it was still necessary to upgrade.

Of course, even though all these Authorities were important, Isaac had to prioritize. The top priority was, without a doubt, the one that had shown such a stunning performance in battle: Desperate Rabbit, also known as the Authority [Positive Infinitesimal].

If it was already so stunning as a Privilege Magic, how incredible would it be as an Authority?

There was another reason, of course: [Positive Infinitesimal] was an unrecorded Authority. If he developed this Authority deeply enough, Isaac might have a chance to grasp Sovereignty through it!

The possibility was slim, but it was worth a try.

And so, Isaac once again immersed himself in his research. For someone who had already optimized the Privilege Magic to its absolute peak, mastering the [Positive Infinitesimal] Authority wasn’t particularly difficult. After advancing to Tier Three, he already possessed the fundamental requirements to grasp an Authority. All it would take was a little research.

However, this would be his first time developing an Authority Magic, so that part would still be somewhat difficult.

It would take some time.

While Isaac was immersed in his research, Smith and Lorna, for their part, were not idle.

With Isaac’s advancement to High-level Mage, they now met the conditions for founding a Wizard Organization, and so they officially began to take action.

Since the preparatory work was long complete, their most important task now was recruitment.

This step was twofold. First, they would recruit existing Wizards, focusing primarily on Tier One Mages, supplemented by Tier Two Mages. Isaac had his own research to attend to, so he wouldn’t have much time to guide Tier Two Mages. Moreover, Tier Two Mages were difficult to recruit, and for a fledgling Wizard Organization, cost-effectiveness was paramount.
