Wizard: Grinding to Lord of Truth
Chapter 382 - 383: Constant Strengthening
Chapter 382: Chapter 383: Constant Strengthening
’Hmm... my reaction speed is about five times faster than before. Once the rest of the Potion’s effects are fully absorbed, it should be about six times.’
After returning to his human form, Andre assessed the workings of his brain.
As he absorbed the Potion, he felt incredibly clear-headed.
Meanwhile, in that blank, white world, Andre’s doppelgangers suddenly froze the very instant he absorbed the Potion. Every last one of them stopped moving.
’What’s happening?’
The Eight Ancestors was observing Andre’s doppelgangers at that moment. When he saw them freeze, he thought Andre must have run into some danger and withdrawn the Power from his doppelgangers.
But then, the doppelgangers started moving again, their Speed far surpassing what it was before.
Simultaneously, a large number of doppelgangers began to split, picking up books and starting to flip through them.
As the doppelgangers continued to split, their numbers in the blank world grew exponentially.
Before long, they formed a dense, dark mass, and their numbers were still multiplying.
’This number... and this reading speed... is he serious?’
The Eight Ancestors stared at the doppelgangers, rubbing his chin.
He had been studying Andre’s doppelgangers, but now, before he could even figure them out, they had evolved.
Furthermore, from what the Eight Ancestors could tell, Andre’s doppelgangers seemed to have taken on a life of their own.
Their reading speed had increased dramatically, as had the rate at which they split.
’Next up, this!’
Andre took out the eyes from the Multi-Eyed Race.
These eyes could also be fused into his body.
Without hesitation, Andre began sorting the eyes using the same method as before, setting aside the ones that were usable.
Once he finished sorting them, Andre prepared another barrel of Potion and soaked the eyes in it to soften them.
Processing the eyes of the Multi-Eyed Race was different from processing the brains of the Multi-Brain Race.
The eyes left behind by the Multi-Eyed Race contained no residual Soul Fragments, so the fusion process was much simpler.
Soon, Andre fished out the eyes. Next, he dropped the softened eyes into a bottle of extremely corrosive Potion.
The moment the eyes hit the Potion, a white vapor hissed from the liquid.
Once the white vapor dissipated, the Potion’s preparation was complete.
The once-corrosive Potion had now completely lost its caustic properties.
Andre picked up the Potion Bottle and dripped two drops into his own eyes.
The instant the Potion touched his eyes, Andre felt a sharp pain.
Tears immediately streamed down his face, but the pain vanished just as quickly.
Andre blinked, and two gray teardrops rolled down his cheeks.
These two gray tears were the impurities from within his eyes.
With some of the impurities expelled, Andre’s vision began to recover and even improve.
’Hmm, with those impurities gone, my vision is much clearer.’
Andre looked into the distance. The Power of World Origin could no longer obstruct his sight.
Previously, after awakening the Talent Witchcraft Eye of Truth, he could already see for vast distances.
But now, thanks to the Potion, that distance had doubled.
’One step at a time.’
Andre sat down, Potion Bottle in hand, and applied the drops once every five minutes. By the time night fell, the bottle was empty.
With that, Andre had finished fusing the essence of the eyes left by the Multi-Eyed Race.
’I used the Potion to extract the essence of the Multi-Eyed Race’s eyes and fused it into my own.’
Andre put the Potion Bottle away. At that moment, several different lights flickered in and out of existence within his eyes.
Each light represented a different Pupil Technique.
Andre opened the System to see which Pupil Techniques he had acquired.
[Name] Andre
[Age] 53
[Realm] Level 3 Wizard
[Personality] Lord of Truth (43.16%)
[Talent] Power of Definition (14%), Eye of Origin (82.76%), Medium Perfect Body (7%), Divine Punishment, Primordial Lightning, Power of Chaos, Power of the World
[Passive] Master of Demon Patterns, Master of Witchcraft Scrolls, Basic Witchcraft Master, Master of Magical Potions, Magic Perception, Power of Domination, Eye of Space, Eye of the Elements, Eyes of Destruction.
Andre glanced over the data on the System.
Nothing else had changed, but the Passive section now listed three new Pupil Techniques.
’Eye of Space... what an impressive name!’
Andre blinked, and his amber eyes instantly turned silver-gray.
With his eyes now silver-gray, Andre could see numerous overlapping points in the space before him.
These were points where space itself folded over.
Within these spatial folds were small, special pockets of space—in other words, Secret Realms.
’Let’s see what I can find!’
Having just acquired a new Pupil Technique, Andre was exceptionally excited.
He was currently in a Level 6 World, and the resources here were far more abundant than in any other world.
Moreover, the world consciousness of the Barbaric Universe World needed his Power, so he could now look anywhere he pleased without restraint.
He constantly used the Eye of Space to scan his surroundings. After sweeping his gaze around, Andre happened to glance down.
And there, right beneath his feet, he saw a hidden space.
’I learned through Witchcraft that this mountain peak is that wild boar’s lair... Could this hidden space be its treasure hoard?’
At this thought, Andre grew excited.
Immediately, Andre poured Magic Power into his eyes, pushing the Eye of Space to its absolute limit.
As more and more Magic Power flowed into the Eye of Space, the hidden dimension gradually revealed itself to his sight.
Soon, a space the size of a soccer field from his previous life materialized before his eyes.
Andre could clearly see a vast collection of items stored within the space, including many precious Magic Plants.
’Whoa, this boar’s collection is impressive!’
Looking at the items within the space, Andre began to drool uncontrollably.
’Pinecones, hazelnuts, and chestnuts!’
These three types of nuts were the most numerous items in the hoard.
But these weren’t ordinary nuts from the forest; they were the fruit of precious Magic Plants.
First were the pinecones, which came from a tree called the Dark Ink Pine.
The resin from the Dark Ink Pine was a top-grade material with a wide range of uses.
It could be used to create Witchcraft Scrolls, carve Witchcraft Arrays, or even concoct Potions.
But the most precious part of the Dark Ink Pine was its pinecones.
