Wizard: Grinding to Lord of Truth
Chapter 368: Studying, Studying, and Still Studying
Chapter 368 -369: Studying, Studying, and Still Studying
At this moment, within the vast, empty world inside the Tower of Black Stone, many new things had appeared.
And these things, without exception, were all books.
Beside the books, countless figures were endlessly flipping through them.
Every single one of these figures was Andre.
Andre was like a dry sponge, absorbing the knowledge from the books into his mind. The speed and breadth of his learning left the Eighth Ancestor, who was standing guard beside him, utterly dumbfounded.
After Andre learned the Clone Technique, he improved upon it, combining it with his own Path of Chaos to create the Chaos Clone Technique.
Once he developed the Chaos Clone Technique, a massive amount of Chaos Magic Power erupted from Andre’s body. This Chaos Magic Power then coalesced, forming one clone after another.
The sheer number of them and the speed at which they formed made the Eighth Ancestor’s eyes widen.
He had practiced the Clone Technique before, but never had he seen one that could mass-produce clones like Andre’s.
Although the Multiple Cloning Technique was common in the Wizard World, a version like Andre’s—one that could create over a thousand clones instantly using only Magic Power—was unheard of. Moreover, Andre had transformed this most ordinary Clone Technique into its current form after looking at the basic Witchcraft Curse Seal for it just once.
Originally, the Eighth Ancestor thought the greatest benefit of Andre’s modified Chaos Clone Technique was simply the increased number of clones. But to his surprise, as a large number of books were brought in, the clones Andre had created began to flip through them.
Each clone was reading a different book.
The Eighth Ancestor had initially assumed Andre was just putting on a show.
However, he hadn’t expected that as Andre and his clones continued to read, Andre’s own aura began to grow steadily stronger and deeper.
Sensing this change, the Eighth Ancestor finally understood. Andre wasn’t putting on a show at all; he was genuinely committing the contents of every book to memory and mastering the knowledge within.
When the Eighth Ancestor realized this, he was stunned.
‘Logically speaking, how is this possible?’
The Clone Technique could indeed help the main body read and learn, but having thousands of clones do so simultaneously should have caused an information overload for the user—the main body.
Yet, not only did Andre avoid this information overload, but as more and more books filled the world, the number of clones erupting from his body also increased.
Right now, in this world, a total of 12,000 books were being read simultaneously by Andre’s clones.
The reason for this specific number was that these 12,000 books represented every category of book in the Tower of Black Stone’s entire collection.
Andre was using his clones to read all 12,000 of these books at the same time.
“Is this child’s stamina really so immense?”
Senzu arrived in this world, her eyes widening as she watched the clones endlessly flipping through the books. She, too, was shocked by Andre’s stamina.
The more clones Andre created, the faster his stamina should have been consumed.
For Truth Great Wizards like them, reading 12,000 books at once was nothing special.
But Andre was only a Level 3 Wizard; he didn’t even have his own world, let alone the blessing of a world-consciousness.
‘A little guy like him can already do this?’
‘If Andre really becomes a Morning Star, or even reaches the same level of existence as us, his monstrous talent would be unimaginable.’
“The record our ancestor set within the clan has remained unbroken,” the Eighth Ancestor said slowly to Senzu, “but now it seems that record is about to have a challenger.”
“The ancestor’s record? That’s impossible, isn’t it?”
“Our ancestor led our family’s rise from the savage Wizard World, through conquest and growth, all the way to where we are today. Are you saying he can reach the same heights as the ancestor?”
Senzu was not from an era too distant from when Andeta reigned supreme, so she had personally witnessed just how dazzling the old ancestor’s brilliance had been. It was precisely this memory that made Senzu doubt the Eighth Ancestor’s judgment.
“Just you wait and see.”
The Eighth Ancestor didn’t argue with Senzu. He just made that quiet remark and returned his attention to Andre.
Just then, a new batch of books was brought in.
The instant these books appeared in this world, Chaos Magic Power erupted from Andre’s body.
This Chaos Magic Power then formed into more clones. They ran to the new books, sorted them by category, each took one, and sat down to begin reading.
And as the clones began reading these books, the aura around Andre’s body abruptly thickened once more.
“Knowledge is Power, it’s true, but doesn’t this little guy need time to digest it?”
Senzu watched Andre, having naturally sensed the increased weight of his aura.
As Andre’s aura began to grow, the auras of the clones he created with Chaos Magic Power also strengthened considerably.
“The clones’ strength increases in sync with his?” Senzu voiced her doubts once more, having noticed this as well. “Is that really possible?”
One had to understand, these were merely clones created by the Clone Technique.
They weren’t avatars created by embedding the main body’s will into an object.
The difference between the two was enormous!
“Long ago, sages in the Wizard World researched this very point. They discovered that achieving this requires an extremely special Talent!”
“Shared Consciousness. This Talent isn’t rare, but it only ever appears in multiple-birth siblings.”
“But what’s going on with Andre?”
“Does he have a Shared Consciousness with his clones? No, that’s not right. The clones and the main body already share the same brain, so how could you even call it a Shared Consciousness?”
“Could it be… no, how is that possible? That’s something that should be absolutely impossible!”
Senzu looked at Andre as an impossible thought suddenly surfaced in her mind.
‘Is Andre dividing his brain into 12,000 regions and using his clones to store knowledge in all of them simultaneously?’
Senzu was startled by her own thought. ‘Is that something a Level 3 Wizard can do?’
She suddenly felt that she couldn’t see through this junior at all. Her eyes widened, and she then cast a particularly famous Witchcraft from the path of nature, Natural Affinity, to scan Andre’s body.
But when this Witchcraft touched one of Andre’s clones, it silently dissipated.
“This…?” Senzu was even more astonished!
“The No Witchcraft I cast with my own hands was dispelled just by touching his clone?”
“Is this child really a Level 3 Wizard?”
Senzu looked at Andre, at a loss for words.
“From the day the races and factions of the Star Realm first began their pursuit of Power, Chaos has been a subject of constant research for all of them.”
“And since Andre is the only one who can retain Chaos Magic Power within his body, it’s only natural that he would have some special qualities!”
Although the Eighth Ancestor was also a little startled, he wasn’t truly surprised by this development.
