But after the Divine Spirit’s death, the divine light on its body had steadily faded with the passage of time.

Andre moved back to the front of the Divine Spirit, studying its face.

After circling the Divine Spirit a few more times, Andre raised his hand, about to lift the Divine Remains from its stone dais.

But the moment his hand touched the Divine Remains, the long-dead Divine Spirit suddenly opened its eyes. Three beams of blood-red light shot from its three eyes, blasting Andre backward.

"Are you a Wizard?" the reanimated Divine Spirit asked slowly, its gaze fixed on Andre.

Andre nodded, then shook his head.

He had already guessed from the reaction of the Divine Remains that this must be the Divine Spirit’s final, lingering will.

"You nod, yet you shake your head. What is the meaning of this?"

As the Divine Spirit spoke, its once-brilliant eyes began to dim.

Andre took a deep breath and allowed the Divine Patterns on his body to become visible.

"You come from a world conquered by the Wizards." The Divine Remains stated, looking at Andre. Andre nodded.

"In that case, I hope what I have left behind can help you. Kill more Wizards, more Demons... consider it our revenge."

After the Divine Spirit spoke these words, the will remaining in its body dissipated completely. The light in its three once-bright eyes faded for the last time.

Then, the Divine Remains began to float of its own accord.

Andre looked at the floating Divine Remains and reached out again.

This time, there was no resistance. Andre stored the Divine Remains in his Secret Realm, then collected the few items that had been placed beneath it.

These must have been the items the ancestors of the Polytheist Race recovered from the Divine Remains when they first discovered the body of this Deity.

He would have to wait until he left this world to inspect them properly.

Andre placed these items in his Secret Realm as well, then took another look around the Underground Palace.

Meanwhile, he had Potato search the entire area to make sure there was nothing else of note.

Once he was certain there was nothing left, he and Potato joined forces, using Earth and Stone Manipulation to completely bury the Underground Palace.

With a prize of this magnitude at stake, he couldn’t risk anyone finding out.

After collapsing the Underground Palace, Andre and Potato split up to destroy all the tunnels that had been excavated by the ancestors of the three branches.

Next, Andre continuously released his Chaos Magic Power, blanketing the entire area to mask any lingering auras. Once that was done, he tossed the Ten Thousand Laws Wheel into the cloud of Chaos Magic Power, causing it to continuously transmute into the Earth Element.

This served to further conceal any trace of what had transpired here.

Only when Andre was certain that not a single trace of Divine Power remained did the man and the bear slowly emerge from the ground and return to the Morning Sky.
