Chapter 160: Chapter 160: Their Respective Hidden Treasures

A Racial Nest, as the name implies, is the nest of a race, and also its foundation.

But the Racial Nest Rote spoke of was different from a natural one.

Natural Racial Nests mostly appeared among insect-type or Snake-type Magical Beasts.

The Racial Nest in Rote’s hands, however, was a type of Space Witchcraft Artifact specifically created by Wizards.

Each Racial Nest could evolve into a small Secret Realm, used to raise subjugated races.

But to use one, you had to use the blood of a certain race’s bloodline to open the Secret Realm.

"It seems you’ve prepared quite thoroughly!"

Andre said, looking at Rote.

"It’s alright. A reminder from my family elders. You must have brought a few as well, right?" Rote asked, looking at Andre. Andre nodded.

Originally, he hadn’t wanted to buy a Racial Nest because they were simply too expensive.

The starting price for a single Racial Nest was ten million Medium Magic Stones. The price varied based on the size of the internal space, with no upper limit.

The Racial Nests Andre possessed had been prepared for him by his senior uncles and their disciples. They were considered a welcoming gift for the youngest disciple of the Klein lineage.

All these gifts had been placed in the Storage Bracelet that the Radar Class had given him earlier.

During the breaks in their Space Jumps, Andre had organized everything inside the Storage Bracelet.

Among the items were twelve Racial Nests.

"Although Racial Nests can be used to take the Magical Beasts we want, not every Magical Beast is worthy of being taken,"

Andre said to Rote, who nodded in agreement.

"Therefore, we should use the Racial Nests on the most valuable Magical Beasts, and the Master-Servant Contracts on those that can help enhance our strength."

Rote explained his plan for the Master-Servant Contracts and Racial Nests he possessed.

"In that case, let’s not hide things anymore. You should all have some hidden treasure locations, right?"

Andre said, looking at the other three. They all nodded.

"In the area I was responsible for, there’s a deserted island covered in all sorts of rare Magic Plants. I call it the Magic Plant Island."

Jessica revealed her hidden treasure location.

"I found six Giant Elephant Tombs. They’re filled with the corpses of Giant Elephants."

"Furthermore, when Giant Elephant calves are born, the adults drive them into the tombs to receive the Power of their ancestors. This is also the reason the Giant Elephants are able to rule that continent."

"If you’re planning to capture these Giant Elephants, I can provide the coordinates for these six Giant Elephant Tombs, but on one condition: you give me a Racial Nest."

Karina revealed her own hidden treasure location, stating her terms at the same time.

Although she had latched onto Andre’s powerful coattails, she was still the weakest among the six of them.

So, she didn’t hesitate to state her price directly.

"That’s no problem. I have twelve, so I can spare one for you."

Andre looked at Karina, nodded, and made his promise.

"You’re a Master Alchemist. If you want those Magic Plants, I can provide the coordinates. But you’ll have to give me one-third of the Potions you create."

Seeing Andre agree to Karina’s terms, Jessica’s eyes darted. She instantly figured out what price she should ask from Andre and spoke up.

Andre thought about it carefully, then shook his head.

"One-fourth. I’ve never seen these Magic Plants before, so I don’t know their medicinal effects."

"If I’m to formulate them into Magic Potions, I’ll have to conduct preliminary experiments to identify their properties before I can use them."

Andre directly countered with a lower price. Faced with his offer, Jessica turned to look at her brother, Rote. Rote considered it for a moment, then nodded.

"A quarter is fine, but we get to have the priority choice."

"Fine, no problem!" Andre nodded.

He knew exactly why Rote wanted priority choice.

When an Alchemist works with unfamiliar Magic Plants, they usually have to make several attempts before they can utilize the plants to their fullest potential.

Rote wanted priority choice for this very reason.

What Rote didn’t know, however, was that with the Eye of Truth, Andre only needed to analyze the properties of the Magic Plants once. Every bottle of Magic Potion he concocted afterward would have the exact same efficacy.

"In my designated area, I discovered three Tidal Sea Eel nests. Each one contains over a thousand of them."

"Tidal Sea Eels? Do those things exist in this world too?"

Upon hearing this, Karina’s eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at Rote.

"Mhm. I secretly caught one from a nest and roasted it. I can confirm it’s the same Tidal Sea Eel."

Rote nodded.

"Tidal Sea Eels can increase the success rate of breakthroughs. Their flesh and blood can help a Wizard condense their Spiritual Power."

Andre spoke, a strange light glinting in his eyes.

"The Tidal Sea Eels in this world seem to have an even stronger effect on enhancing Spiritual Power compared to others,"

Rote said, then looked at Andre.

A smile touched the corners of Andre’s mouth. He placed his hand on the table and swiped it gently.

This seemingly insignificant action left a string of Demon Patterns on the table.

After Rote, Jessica, and Karina finished reading them, the Demon Patterns vanished from the tabletop in an instant.

"You’ve found the entrance to the Duo-Mu Kingdom’s tomb!"

Rote deliberately lowered his voice as he said this, so only the four of them could hear. Andre nodded.

"That’s some good stuff." A greedy look appeared in Rote’s eyes.

"I’ve been inside. In this world, Power is derived from bloodline inheritance, so the Duo-Mu Kingdom’s Witchcraft is quite crude."

"Inside, I found..."

Andre paused, then touched the Storage Ring on his left hand with his right. He took out a gemstone.

The gemstone was white on the outside, with red, blue, and green colors on the inside.

"This is an eye left behind by the Three-Pupiled People, and it’s been air-dried. It could definitely be used as the core for a Magic Staff."

Staring at the eye, the greedy flames in Rote’s eyes burned even hotter.

Andre returned the eye to his Storage Ring, chuckled, and touched the ring again. A peach-like object the size of a fist appeared in his hand.

"This is the extra heart from a member of the Multi-Heart Race. It’s a rare treasure that, after refinement, can be used to create a second Magic Heart. It’s something many Wizards search for their entire lives."

"With this, even someone who has only condensed a Magic Vortex can create a Magic Heart for themselves."

Rote could no longer sit still. He had originally thought that the three Tidal Sea Eel nests he found were valuable enough.

But he never expected that they would be nothing compared to what Andre had found.
