Chapter 129: Chapter 129: Andre’s Expeditionary Corps

"Choose now. Submit to me, or be annihilated."

Andre asked, looking at the King of the Stone People.

The King of the Stone People glanced from Andre to Potato before reluctantly bowing his head.

"This is a contract. Once you sign it, I will nurture your growth and help you advance to a higher level."

Andre took out the Master-Servant Contract and signed it with the King of the Stone People.

It was at that moment that Jesse, Selena, and their group arrived. Their faces grew somber as they saw the King of the Stone People signing the Master-Servant Contract with Andre.

They hadn’t expected their family spies’ reports to be true. Andre had actually become an Official Wizard, and what’s more, he had brought the King of the Stone People and an entire Stone Giant Tribe under his control.

"How is this possible? How could he have advanced so quickly?"

Jesse’s eyes widened as he stared at Andre. He now possessed the distinct aura of an Official Wizard.

"Nothing’s impossible. Don’t forget, Andre is also a Master Alchemist."

"With that status, think of how many people at the academy must have come to him, asking him to prepare a Potion!"

"Not to mention, for the past several years, Andre was constantly taking orders and selling Potions in the marketplace."

"Who knows how many Potions he’s stockpiled over that period."

"For a Master Alchemist to become an Official Wizard in a little over six years is actually believable."

Quint reminded Jesse, Selena, and the others.

A Master Alchemist! The expressions on Selena, Jesse, and the others’ faces turned foul when they remembered Andre’s title.

"The Stone Giant Tribe, the Beastman Tribe, Andre, that Mixed-blood Dragon Beast, and this Elemental Creature."

"Hiss... this isn’t right!" Rite exclaimed, looking at the scene before him as he mentally calculated the Power Andre now possessed.

After a moment’s thought, Rite gasped.

"What is it?" Jesse asked Rite, confused.

"Andre already has a complete Expeditionary Corps."

"Although Andre is the only Wizard in his Expeditionary Corps..."

"...but the king of the Beastman Tribe, the King of the Stone People, the Mixed-blood Dragon Beast, and that Elemental Creature all have combat power equivalent to the Official Wizard Level."

"Even if they’re a little short of that now, it won’t be long before Andre’s Potions get them to a level comparable to an Official Wizard."

"An Expeditionary Corps made up of five powers at the Official Wizard Level could invade even a Level 3 or Level 4 Otherworld and conquer a piece of territory."

"What’s more, the Beastman Tribe and the Stone Giant Tribe can coordinate effectively."

"He can use the Beastman Tribe for offensive campaigns and the Stone Giant Tribe for defense."

"As for whether the Stone Giant Tribe and Beastman Tribe would suffer injuries, that’s not even a concern with Andre in the picture."

"Andre is a Master Alchemist. Any injuries the Beastmen from the Beastman Tribe sustain in battle can be easily treated with his Potions."

"Even their notoriously difficult breeding problems wouldn’t be an issue with the help of his Potions."

"He could even use this to win the complete and utter loyalty of the Beastman Tribe."

"And when the Stone Men get injured, the King of the Stone People and that Elemental Creature can heal them. When it comes to healing Stone Men, not even Andre can compare to those two."

"If Andre faces a powerful opponent, he can take action himself or send out the Mixed-blood Dragon Beast."

"Offense, defense, healing—a perfect trifecta. And Andre is Radak’s disciple, with a mastery of extensive Witchcraft and other fields of knowledge."

"With a setup like that, if word got out, countless people would be willing to join Andre’s Expeditionary Corps."

"People would join not only because of the sheer Power of his Expeditionary Corps but also because he’s a Master Alchemist."

"Also, when we enter an Otherworld, we have to deal with its suppressive force, but that’s a non-issue for Andre."

"Andre’s Eye of Truth helps Wizards negate the suppression of an Otherworld. That’s the very reason Diana went to such lengths to recruit him for the academy."

Rite’s face grew darker and darker as he spoke, his eyes fixed on Andre.

By the time he finished speaking, his face had gone completely pale.

"Gods... Andre’s rise is just too fast. It’s only been six years, and he already commands four beings at the Level 1 Wizard rank!"

"Give him a little more time, and there will be hardly anyone in the academy left who can suppress him."

At that, Jesse’s expression turned exceptionally foul.

They had all antagonized Andre in the past. Faced with this man who was rising like the morning sun, their first instinct was to crush him.

But Andre had Radak at his back, and Radak in turn was backed by a Moonlight Great Mage who was about to become a Red Flame Great Mage.

Under the circumstances, they were powerless to suppress him. They could only stand by and watch his continued rise.

"Sigh..." Faced with the current situation, Quint let out a deep sigh.

Although he hadn’t treated Andre like a thief in the beginning, he was still a member of one of the great families. From the very beginning, their relationship was doomed to be poor.

His relationship with Andre might have been a little better than that of Jesse or Selena, but that small advantage was negligible.

"Sometimes, an opponent won’t confront you directly, because to them, you’re not even worth noticing."

After speaking, Quint turned and walked away. With Andre’s current Power, he must have noticed them the moment they arrived.

Since they had already been discovered, there was no point in remaining. Staying would only make them a laughingstock.

After all, the Wizard Inheritance Hall was always bustling with people.

Every day, people came to read books or to ask Professor Radak for guidance.

Although the few of them were from prominent families, there were other powers within the academy capable of rivaling their own.

After Quint left, Rite did too. Jesse gritted his teeth, then turned and stormed off.

Only Selena and Ferguson were left. They exchanged a look before turning and leaving as well.

Andre, meanwhile, began nurturing the King of the Stone People and the Stone Giant Tribe, who had just signed the Master-Servant Contract with him.

The King of the Stone People was still some distance from the Official Wizard Level. But since he and the Stone Men were semi-elemental beings, nurturing their growth was not considered too difficult.

He just needed to feed it a few Earth Element Crystals, just like he did with Potato, and he could push the King of the Stone People across the threshold to become a power on par with the Official Wizard Level.
