Chapter 118: Chapter 118: The Real Treasure

’No wonder there’s a type of Wizard called a Treasure Hunter. Anyone would be green with envy seeing so much wealth.’

Andre took out a few pieces of metal from the chest. After identifying their types, he placed them into his Storage Ring.

While doing so, Andre deliberately took out a large quantity of Magic Stones from his Storage Ring and filled the gaps in the chest.

When the Magic Stones were placed beside the metals, one could clearly see the originally dim materials gradually begin to glow.

’This Secret Realm was meant for descendants who haven’t yet become Level 1 Wizards. Logically, there shouldn’t be so few things here.’

After putting away the wooden chest filled with metal, Andre opened the remaining boxes. What greeted his eyes were rows of Memory Crystals.

Andre picked up a Memory Crystal, confirmed there was no issue with it, and pressed it to the spot between his eyebrows, beginning to channel Magic Power into it.

The Memory Crystal, empty for 3,000 years, suddenly erupted with a burst of light after the infusion of Magic Power. Then, countless Divine Patterns emerged from the crystal and flowed into Andre’s mind.

’A Divine Art, Frenzy Technique. A very basic one.’

Andre blinked. As he looked at the boxes he had yet to open, the glint in his eyes grew brighter and brighter.

Although there were many kinds of Witchcraft in the Wizard World that were very similar to these Divine Arts, such a complete inheritance of Divine Arts was still extremely rare.

’If I could take these out to be auctioned, this would be another considerable source of income.’

A trace of regret flashed across Andre’s face.

The Memory Crystal he had just used crumbled into dust at his feet after transmitting the Frenzy Technique to him.

’To have survived in this environment for 3,000 years, the quality of these Memory Crystals is extremely high.’

Andre nodded, then put away all the boxes and headed deeper into the Secret Realm.

The deeper he went, the more things appeared before him.

There were specially treated Beast Hide Scrolls recording ancient knowledge, some unique stone carvings, and many more chests and boxes.

’If only these Divine Power Tools had been preserved better. Although they lack Magic Power, their essence is intact, making them suitable only for crafting Witchcraft Tools.’

Andre collected all of these items, then crushed a Divine Power Tool in his hand to powder.

He didn’t stop until he reached the deepest part of the Secret Realm and saw a large disc.

According to his Bloodline inheritance, this disc was a Teleportation Array leading to another Secret Realm.

However, activating it required a vast amount of high-quality Magic Stones.

Andre stared at the Teleportation Array before him and frowned. He had a considerable amount of Magic Stones, but he didn’t know if it would be enough to activate it.

Andre crouched down, reached out to touch the Teleportation Array, and then closed his eyes. When he opened them again, two Demon Pattern Discs were spinning within his pupils.

Andre turned his head to look back. At that moment, the entire Secret Realm was laid bare before his eyes.

But soon, Andre noticed something was off. About ten paces to his right, a spot was shimmering with a faint, bluish-green light.

Andre walked over and stopped in front of the spot. He cut his finger with a small knife and pressed it against the surface.

As his blood dripped down, the heavy sound of a mechanism turning echoed in Andre’s ears.

"A Divine Power Mechanism!" Andre’s eyes were filled with excitement as he watched the opening before him widen. Clearly, whatever lay behind this Divine Power Mechanism was the true treasure of this Secret Realm.

Soon, a stone gate inscribed with various Divine Patterns appeared before Andre.

Andre stepped inside. The moment his right foot crossed the threshold of the stone gate, the Divine Patterns began to light up. Then, a fierce gust of wind blasted him from behind, sending him flying into the sky.

’What’s going on?’ Andre cast the Gentle Wind Technique, trying his best to stabilize himself.

But even with the Gentle Wind Technique, the massive gale sent him tumbling through the air.

Having no other choice, Andre released his Multiple Wings of the Wind to control his body. Even so, the best he could manage was to stop tumbling. The hurricane still relentlessly pushed him toward the sky.

’Is there something up in the sky?’

Andre frowned, continuously stabilizing his body while glancing up at the sky.

Just one glance, and he instantly shut his eyes.

He had almost been blinded by the light from above.

Soon, the wind blew Andre all the way up, and he landed on a layer of clouds.

He sucked in a sharp breath. ’That was a little too intense.’

Andre stomped on the clouds beneath his feet and found them to be very solid.

’This must be a unique structure formed by some kind of permanent Divine Art.’

Andre stomped twice more and looked around.

All sorts of lights now filled his vision, like a starry sky.

’Could it be that not a single one of my kinsmen has come here in 3,000 years?’

Andre was dazzled as he gazed at all the lights.

The myriad lights transformed into enticing little hands, constantly tugging at Andre’s soul.

Among these lights, four colors were the most distinct: the colors of the four elements of earth, wind, water, and fire.

’Well then, let’s open one and see!’

Walking on the clouds, Andre reached out and pulled one of the lights out from the cloud bank.

"A Muscle Regeneration Grass, and a living one at that."

Andre’s eyes widened, and he stared in disbelief at the item in his hand.

’Over 3,000 years... what kind of method was used to preserve the life force within this Muscle Regeneration Grass?’

Andre reached his hand into the spot where the Muscle Regeneration Grass had been, feeling around continuously. At the same time, he cast the Light of Insight upon himself, trying to discern the special method used to protect the Magic Plants.

But no matter how he looked, he couldn’t figure out the trick. The cloud had no Demon Patterns or even the most basic Divine Patterns behind it.

’This method must have something to do with the clouds I’m standing on!’

Andre stopped observing, stomped on the cloud beneath his feet once more, and contentedly put away the Muscle Regeneration Grass.

This single stalk of Muscle Regeneration Grass was worth as much as the three chests of metal he had collected below.

And that was due to the special nature of the Muscle Regeneration Grass.

This Magic Plant was very famous among healing-type Potions. A Potion concocted with Muscle Regeneration Grass was two to three times more effective than other Healing Potions.

Therefore, the price of Muscle Regeneration Grass in the outside world was also exceptionally high.

Not to mention, this was a *living* Muscle Regeneration Grass.

Though it might sound a bit redundant, it meant that this Muscle Regeneration Grass could be planted.

If cultivated properly, Andre could even end up with an entire forest of Muscle Regeneration Grass.

Andre placed the Muscle Regeneration Grass into his Storage Ring and then took out the second treasure.
