After his examination, Roy left Redwood City and began the journey back to Ice Wolf Domain on his white warhorse.

Five hours later.

He returned to Ice Wolf Castle without any trouble.

Just like last time, Tony came to the main gate to greet him before he even reached the castle.

"Did it go well?"

Tony asked Roy.

"It did."

Roy replied.

Hearing his answer, Tony patted him on the shoulder with a look of relief and added, "Come with me to the study."

"Alright!"

Roy nodded.

After handing the white warhorse’s reins to a soldier at the gate, he followed Tony to the study.

Closing the study door, Tony immediately said, "I received news that Count Rock Lion is offering a bounty on the Dark Night Knight. A high one, too—2,000 Gold Coins."

"I saw the bounty notice."

Roy looked at Tony, his expression calm.

"Do you know what he did last night?"

Tony continued to ask.

"Not entirely. I only know he went to Rock Lion Castle last night and killed quite a few people."

"Are you worried Count Rock Lion will turn his anger on us?"

Roy slowly replied.

"I am a little worried. Count Rock Lion isn’t a reasonable man."

"What happened last night has nothing to do with us, but if he finds out we hired the Dark Night Knight before, he might think we’re working together."

Tony sat down in the high-backed chair behind the desk and said with a frown.

"Don’t worry, he won’t find out."

"Even if the Dark Night Knight is captured by Count Rock Lion, he won’t reveal that we hired him. He made a pretty good impression on me. I believe he’s a bounty hunter with a strong sense of professional ethics who wouldn’t easily sell out a client."

Roy said slowly, looking at Tony with a calm expression.

"I hope you’re right!"

Unlike Roy, Tony didn’t have high expectations for the Dark Night Knight’s professional ethics.

In his view, bounty hunters were just a bunch of mercenaries who worked for money and had no honor.

It wouldn’t be surprising if they took a contract to assassinate a former client, let alone sell one out.

Last night’s operation had failed, and Count Rock Lion had posted a huge bounty, but he still had no intention of giving up on the mission to kidnap Jeremy.

Since he had promised John he would bring Jeremy to Sword Lake, he would do everything in his power to complete the mission.

It had nothing to do with the remaining 500 Gold Coins for the final payment.

Besides, he didn’t want to see his 100% mission success rate broken.

Without alerting anyone, he quickly left Ice Wolf Castle and sprinted toward Rock Lion Castle.

Now that his Iron Claw Bear Breathing Technique had broken through to Tier Three, the intensity and volume of his Fighting Qi had increased again.

Unlike last time, Catherine wasn’t wearing a tight black outfit tonight. Instead, she was clad in a suit of black light armor.

Not only that, but to hide her face, she also wore a full-face helmet that completely concealed her beautiful golden hair and her large, light-blue, kohl-rimmed eyes.

Although she had changed her attire, Roy recognized her at a glance as the woman in black from five days ago.

Roy frowned instantly.

After thinking for a few seconds, he asked Catherine, "How did you know I would come tonight?"

"Also, we’re strangers. Why are you helping me?"

Catherine didn’t answer Roy right away. Instead, she took a copper coin from her clothes and tossed it to him.

The copper coin traced a graceful arc through the air before Roy snatched it.

’This woman is from the same organization as Allen!’

Although he had seen this kind of copper coin before, Roy pretended he hadn’t and said slowly, "What is the meaning of this?"

Catherine replied without hesitation, "It’s a token for joining our organization."

"Your strength and potential are both quite good. I want to recruit you into our organization."

"If you’re willing to join, I’ll tell you how to use this copper coin."

Roy said to Catherine.
