Chapter 114: Chapter 110: Unicorn Giant, Titan World
Roy, of course, wouldn’t refuse Catherine’s passion.
After their passionate kiss, he didn’t hesitate for a moment, scooping Catherine up into his arms and carrying her toward the large, soft bed.
Before long, the bedroom was filled with the sounds of an intense game not meant for children’s ears.
...
More than an hour later, Roy lay on the bed, staring at the bedroom ceiling. His mind unconsciously drifted to the three ultimate questions of idealism.
Who am I? Where do I come from? Where am I going?
Although his physical attributes far surpassed those of a normal person, he was still human. Just like any other man, he experienced ’Sage Mode’.
Catherine, oblivious to his thoughts, looked utterly content. She lay curled up beside him like a lazy kitten, raising a hand to toy with his earlobe with her slender fingers.
It wasn’t just men who experienced ’Sage Mode’; women did too.
However, a man’s ’Sage Mode’ was physiological, while a woman’s was psychological.
Furthermore, a woman’s ’Sage Mode’ lasted for a much shorter time than a man’s.
Roy didn’t mind Catherine playing with his earlobe.
After all, he found himself unconsciously stroking her sculpted shoulders.
Neither of them spoke, both tacitly enjoying the tranquility that followed their ’game’.
Time trickled by.
When his ’Sage Mode’ had completely faded, Roy said to Catherine, "You were much more forward tonight than usual."
"Well, you have yourself to thank for that."
Catherine gave Roy a reproachful look.
"What does that have to do with me?" Roy replied.
"How could it not? It’s all because you refuse to move in with me."
"If you won’t take the initiative, then I have to," Catherine retorted.
Hearing her answer, Roy smiled and shook his head.
This wasn’t the first time Catherine had asked him to move in.
Especially after she found out about his intimate relationship with Miria.
But Roy had never agreed.
Seeing him shake his head, Catherine immediately rolled over and straddled him.
Just as Catherine was about to use her actions to signal the start of a second ’game,’ Roy’s Spiritual sense suddenly sent him a warning.
Since he wasn’t in Chaos Square, no montage of scenes flashed through his mind; it was merely a warning that something was about to happen.
Though he didn’t know what his Spiritual sense was warning him about, Roy didn’t waste any mental energy on it. He simply told Catherine, "No need to be in such a hurry. The night is still young."
Without waiting for her to reply, Roy gripped her slender, tempting waist and gently eased her back onto the bed.
Under Catherine’s watchful gaze, he got out of bed, scooped up his clothes from the floor, and quickly dressed.
"What’s wrong?" Catherine asked in confusion.
"It’s nothing. I just remembered something," Roy replied.
"What is it?" Catherine pressed.
"The Ironblood Duke’s retaliation!"
As he spoke, Roy walked to the wardrobe, pulled out a red set of Hunter’s Clothing, and handed it to Catherine.
After receiving the warning from his Spiritual sense, the first person he suspected was the Ironblood Duke.
He couldn’t think of anyone else besides the Ironblood Duke who would come looking for trouble at a time like this.
Although she didn’t know why Roy had suddenly brought up the Ironblood Duke’s retaliation, Catherine didn’t hesitate, immediately putting on the Hunter’s Clothing.
She had just finished putting on the Hunter’s Clothing and hadn’t even had time to pull on her deerskin boots when the horn signaling an enemy attack blared throughout Rock Lion Castle.
WOOOOO! WOOOOO!
Upon hearing the horn, Roy didn’t hesitate for a second. He immediately rushed to the balcony and looked toward the castle’s main gate.
