Though the way that he looked at Lin Fan was one that was filled with sympathy as if he could tell that he was being put in the same situation.

So the two of them had no choice but to spar with each other even though neither of them wanted to.

He had been able to tell that there was something off about the Clear Water barrier that Lin Fan used in the end.

“Let’s just call this a draw.” The Poison King suddenly said this that interrupted the silence.

The Blood King narrowed his eyes to look at the Poison King, but the Poison King didn’t budge on this matter.

So in the end, the Blood King had no choice but to let this go.

It wasn’t because the Poison King had the power to pressure the Blood King.

They were both part of the Eight Kings after all, so it wasn’t as if the Poison King was weaker than the Blood King.

The main reason that the Blood King backed down in the end was all because of one of the unspoken rules of the Heavenly Demon Sect.

They were a gathering of people from demonic sects in the first place, so there were things among them that just couldn’t be said.

Now that it was clear that Lin Fan had a secret, the Poison King was using this unspoken rule to protect that secret. And since they were a part of the higher ups of the Heavenly Demon Sect, they had to follow this rule to show an example to the others.

The only problem was that the Blood King didn’t want to follow this rule because the Poison King was forcing him to.

After another moment of silence, that was when the Blood King finally gave a simple nod in response to this.

With the Blood King agreeing to this, there was nothing else that needed to be said.

The Poison King stood up and waved his hand at Lin Fan as if he wanted him to follow him.

As they left, Xue Yi and the Blood King narrowed their eyes once more to look at Lin Fan.

Lin Fan who was the center of all of this had a bitter feeling inside of him, but there wasn’t anything that he could do now.
