“You want to come meet my family?” Ye Qing Huan was surprised when she heard this.

Hearing this first thing in the morning, it was only natural that she would be caught off guard.

After all, she didn’t think that Lin Fan would suddenly say something like this.

But it wasn’t as if this was a bad thing.

She had been thinking about how to convince Lin Fan to come back to the Heavenly Demon Sect with her, but he chose not to go. Now that he suddenly wanted to go, this actually aligned with what she wanted.

The only thing was that she didn’t understand why he suddenly had this change of heart.

“Did something happen?” Ye Qing Huan couldn’t help asking with a concerned voice.

Lin Fan just calmly said, “I’ve realized that I should be doing more. Being passive like this is fine, but sometimes a man needs to do what he needs to do.”

Ye Qing Huan had received an answer, but she looked even more confused because of this answer. She didn’t really understand what Lin Fan meant by all of this, so she kept thinking to try and think of an answer.

But in the end, it seemed like she misunderstood something.

“So you want to take responsibility as a man?” Ye Qing Huan slowly asked while her expression slowly changed.

Lin Fan also saw that her expression was changing and it didn’t seem like it was something that was good for him, so he said, “I don’t think we’re talking about the same thing.”

It was just that Ye Qing Huan didn’t seem to be listening to him anymore.

Once she drew her conclusion, it seemed like there was only one thing that was on her mind.

Lin Fan didn’t say anything else as he gave a sigh.

If she had made a mistake, then he would let her make that mistake.

After Ye Qing Huan finished with her delusions, she suddenly said, “Since you want to head to the Heavenly Demon Sect as soon as possible, let me reach out to a few people. I’ll try to arrange something that will get us there very quickly.”

Ye Qing Huan didn’t waste any time after saying this.

It seemed like she wasn’t interested in hearing anything else that Lin Fan had to say. It seemed like the only thing that she cared about was bringing Lin Fan back to meet her family.

A bitter smile appeared on Lin Fan’s face when he saw her like this, but he didn’t stop her either since this was for the best. This was what he wanted, but he was curious just what she meant by very quickly.

Lin Fan was surprised by where Ye Qing Huan led him.

After all, this was a real transport array.

Before this, he had never really used long range transport arrays before because they were only maintained by those large and rich cultivation families. They were the ones that were connected to the Five Great Sects.

“Jin Family Head, you are being disrespectful to my companion.” Ye Qing Huan suddenly said while the Jin Family Head was still flattering her.

The Jin Family Head was completely caught off guard when he heard this before revealing a strange look.

It seemed like he didn’t expect Ye Qing Huan to suddenly say something like this.

It seemed like he was confused why Ye Qing Huan would suddenly do something like this for someone like me.

But there was a reason why he was the head of the family, he was someone that knew how to adapt to any situation and he was able to adapt to this.

It was just that he had mistaken something.

“I’m sorry about this. I thought that he was your servant with the way that he followed behind you.”

“Servant? You’re calling him a servant?” Ye Qing Huan said in a cold voice that surprised the Jin Family Head even more.

He really didn’t seem to understand what he had said wrong.

Even Lin Fan was surprised that Ye Qing Huan would have this kind of reaction since it wasn’t as if it was a big deal. But in the end, Ye Qing Huan made it a big deal with how she acted.

“He is the disciple of the Fire Fist King and the Poison King, so I wonder if your words are appropriate.” Ye Qing Huan said in the same cold voice.

When the Jin Family Head heard this, he looked like he was shocked.

Lin Fan was surprised once more, but this time he was surprised by the way that the Jin Family Head reacted. After all, he didn’t think that what Ye Qing Huan said was worth this kind of reaction.

But in the end, the Jin Family Head quickly apologized to Lin Fan.

Lin Fan was about to forgive him, but Ye Qing Huan stopped him with a single glare.

Seeing this look from her, Lin Fan stopped himself and said with a cough, “I don’t think that there’s enough sincerity in this apology, do you?”

He turned to Ye Qing Huan when he said this.

Ye Qing Huan gave a simple nod in response in agreement with what he said.

The Jin Family Head couldn’t help revealing an awkward look when he heard this, but he didn’t seem to deny what Lin Fan said.

In the end, he took out a ring that he handed over to Lin Fan and said, “This is just a small token of our apology.”

Lin Fan sent a bit of his spiritual sense into the Storage Ring and he was surprised by the amount that was inside. Though on the surface, he made sure to keep a poker face so that the Jin Family Head wasn’t able to read into what he was thinking.

When he was done examining the ring, he said, “This will be enough, but don’t let it happen again.”

The Jin Family Head gave a nod before suddenly revealing a smile to say, “It really is an honour for us to have the disciples of the Fire Fist King and the Poison King here at the same time.”

“You’re wrong, he’s the disciple of both of them.” Ye Qing Huan corrected the Jin Family Head.

The Jin Family Head’s calm look broke as he looked at Lin Fan before an even wider smile appeared on his face and he said, “I apologize for that. It seems that an even greater guest than I thought has arrived. Please allow me some time to prepare to welcome you properly.”

Ye Qing Huan shook her head before saying, “We’re in a rush to return to the Heavenly Demon Sect. We’ll talk about this next time, just prepare the transport array for us.”

The Jin Family Head looked a bit disappointed when he heard this, but he gave a nod to show that he understood before leaving to take care of matters for them.

Ye Qing Huan gave Lin Fan a wink when she saw this before turning back to look around the Jin Family Manor.

Lin Fan was still a bit taken aback.

He didn’t think that he was anyone special since that was how it was before, but now it seemed that he was actually quite special.

His current status was more special than he thought.
